  • Cool!!

  • how does it work? :|

  • hax

  • Haha food and feet is not something I would like to see at the same time.

  • donkey kong country 2 ftw

  • are you making it on your bed?

  • Just like a MRE

  • very interesting ;) thankyou for sharing

  • interesting but i question its food safety

  • Love the Donkey Kong Soundtrack!

  • i wonder what happens in the box while it is a cookin'

  • @LittleMsAsian101 its a chemical reaction between an alkaline and water that creates steam

  • The package shows Japanese "katakana" characters to attract consumers but I think it's actually a Chinese product. "花食王" is definitely Chinese.

  • what?

  • This is the smartest packaging i ever see....by the way i think i would be easier if i do the proper cooking. Thanks for sharing!

  • That made me hungry.

  • Oiishi desu! :D

  • reminds me of MRE!

  • 850 Japanese yen = 10.8835 US dollars

  • :O :O :O

  • Donkey Kong 2 THEME !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We have instant spaghetti here in the netherlands.

    It tastes like crap tough.

  • @Jimpiedepimpie oh gosh! deliver my hi! to 'VAN PERSIE' :D:D:D

  • wow thats like magic!! hahahaha they are just genius!

  • Looks like he was pulling out a tampon or something. Was that scallops on the pasta at the end?

  • Comment removed

  • @eatchiles Well if the stuff doesn't melt through the plastic container then it's not scary.

  • @eatchiles The heating mechanism of the food is just the same as MREs that people in the Army use

Its just chemical reactions contained underneath the spaghetti.

The heat produced form the exothermic reaction is used to heat the food

But the chemicals are still sealed safely away from the food

    Genius indeed, fully safe

  • Now eat it!!!

  • holy damn, that's brilliant.

  • lol at the donkey kong level select music

  • that cant be good

  • ewwww just eww

  • That's a lot of packaging for small amount of food

  • how lazy can you get.....a pot of water...bag of noodles and open a jar

  • @nefermaatra not in a cheap hotel room you can't.

  • @CivicB16Project

Nah, man...where I come from people who work at tipped jobs make like, 2.50 an hour...because they rely on the tips...it's fuckin criminal and it's pathetic...

  • Just like mom used to make.

  • The meat will taste like shit. And it's unhealthy. You can just walk over to Denny's and pay $5.00 and wait 5 minutes and you get better spaghetti

  • @Gfulino

A: I doubt they have Denny's in Japan.

    B: It ain't no 5 bucks.

    C. You have to leave a tip.

    D. They don't have spaghett at denny's!!!!!!!!

  • @RonnyVain89

Actually in Japan, you don't have to leave a tip. People usually don't. Besides, prove me a place where you HAVE to leave a tip. I dare ya. A tip is merely a complement used to tell whether a waiter has done a good job.

And where I live they do have spaghetti at Denny's.

  • @ILuvDrizzt

actually you would be supprised i know many restaurants here in NYC that include the tip in the check.

  • @TheKillu35

    Oh dear god why. D:

    Darn, greedy little... -fistshake-

  • Song from Donkey Kong?

  • HOW MANY TIMES I GOTTA TELL YOU TO STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR FOOD YOUNG MAN!

  • I think the heat source is activated by pulling the string which lets 2 chemicals or compounds react to each other producing heat.

  • screw marinara...ADD MAPLE SYRUP!!!

  • When he pulls the string, it activates a packet located under the compartment containing the pasta to heat up. The entire thing is self contained so there is no need to add water. All you got to do is pull the string.

  • wheres the water???

  • omg!! wht happened?

  • @haerihaeri I pooped my pants!

  • @MrVeryMad

    ...o...k...ay?

  • wait how did it get so hot? XD

  • WHOA BAD IDEA......UR EATING SPAGHETTI ON YOUR BED!!! THE MARINARA ON THE WHITE SHEETS OH NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! but yeah the Japanese are geniuses :D

  • @Penguinsmacker0 lol, we have stuff like this in US too

  • @Penguinsmacker0 its not a bed u stupid imbecile.. ur american and dumb

  • @eurovisionairtv someone needs to calm down :)

  • @eurovisionairtv also, if that little mistake made you THAT angry, you really might want to consider some anger management :) and lets say I wasn't American for a minute, would you still of raged like that? If so then that's a little more comforting, if not, then you really need to get over yourself and whatever weird stereotype you have of Americans ^_^ I happen to love all people from everywhere, including Europe, sooo I really don't know what your problem is :]

  • @Penguinsmacker0 shut up crackhead. u have a black person as a president and ur country is going down

  • @eurovisionairtv lol ok, you have a good day now :)

  • @Penguinsmacker0 ok i just saw ur vids and im sorry for my ignorant comments. (just because you're cute) im just messing around cuz im bored :)

  • @eurovisionairtv are you serious? omgosh lol, you really had me going!!! XD I totally thought you were being serious haha! I'm really bored too :P

  • @Penguinsmacker0 yah but seriously that's not a bed ^.^

  • @eurovisionairtv is it a futon? I can't really tell lol :P

  • @Penguinsmacker0 ok i fail.. i just noticed her or his other leg hanging.. i thought he or she's sitting on the floor.

  • @eurovisionairtv ROFL :P well done, I've made dumber mistakes :P

  • thatsa some Pro ass ramen :)

  • .... ·_· . . .

    HOW?

  • @nananime11

Have you ever seen someone eat a MRE theres like this carbon bag and you add water to it and it makes it hot, it looks like she pulled that sting, and it must have somehow activated the heating from that, but seeing as its hidden and not touching any of the food source, makes me think its like the MRE

  • @rpbra1986 amazing

I'll try some ir I find it :P

    thanks ;)

  • OMG This actually looks great!

  • OMG THIS IS THE MUSIC FROM DONKEY KONG!

  • 8 minutes doesn't really seem to instant for me, but hey if your in the middle of nowhere with no power, a nice hot meal is worth the wait.

  • Why heat up the folk? meh It did did kill anything.

  • wow how it became hot without a microwave? whats the pull string about?

  • 3 questions/comments

    1) Holy crap they are like MRE's

    2) Looks sort of gross

    3) What is with the mountain of sauce...

  • Japan's all

  • it tastes quite good :D depends out what machine it comes but god japanese pepol are smart in vending machines XD makign mony at night

  • i promise!!! tat taste like SHIT!

  • Im surprised this isnt flagged for using music from Donkey Kong Country 2, Diddy Kongs Adventure

  • yum, msg

  • wow yummmiiiieeeee

  • ¥300?

  • fucking useless gooks that looks like shit only a asian would eat it

  • damn hell yes i would love this no microwave need hha

  • japan rules

  • this guy is crazy he is eating on white sheets!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg if we had theas in America ower obesity rate will go up so far

  • That was cool..wish we had that here in Pa.(usa)

  • Dude I recognize that music. Its from donkey kong country 2.

  • nice gimmick... but why pay 850 yen for spagetti you have to heat up by yourself? you could get them ready heated at every conbini for less then half the price Oo anyway, i want those!

  • its fake she placed the fork in a different position the first time she put it in the box then the pacage and the box are in different positions when she re opened it after the so called eight minutes! so she took it out during those eight minutes and cooked it!

  • @seekfire24 no, it's the same position. watch it again and look closer in full screen. dumbass

  • @seekfire24 No, it's not fake. I'll bet it works on the same principal as an MRE (Meals Ready to Eat). The american military and i'm sure others too use these to make sure the troops have hot meals in the field. Quite neat actually.

  • i think the bubbling sound from the whole video was coming from my stomach. THIS MADE ME HUNGRY!

  • Instant (8 minutes later)

  • the spaghetti box is cool, but preparing food on your bed is kind of gross.

  • I think, the most importend thing is, not to forget to put the fork back before cocking, because cocked forks taste better.

  • Thats normal in japan.

  • was it any good or did it taste cheap?

  • does not look appetising at all

  • Cool! What is it that heated the spaghetti anyway?

  • The food can cook by itself?

  • Wow, I'm pretty impressed.

Lot of spagetti and a cool heating mechanism.

  • And this tastes like dog waste??

  • These lunch box with strings are sold inside trains in Japan too.

  • whats the string for?

  • @yoyohoes to make it sing and dance while you are waiting for it to be done.....LOL

  • wow :O cool

  • that selling machine in my universaty should be a suceess with the students.

    bye mac'D.

  • how does it cook?

  • Why put the fork in for heating?

  • @sondreixixv steam cleaning

  • that's kinda weird... no cheese?

  • Awesome! How did it taste? I'll link this from my blog. I hope you get more visitors. Thank you for this videoclip!

  • is that the donkey kong theme?

  • Who needs instant noodles when you have this?! >< I wish singapore has 1

  • why is it in such a complicated packaging??

  • What Heats It UP"?

  • @hezzakyA chemical reaction between magnesium iron filings, salt and water. Have you ever used one of those pocket warmers, the ones you rub and they warm up? Same thing. Next time you get one rub on it and then blow on it. Like a "haa-haa" breath. You'll see that it will actually get hot doing that. The natural salt on your palms and the moisture from your breath are reacting with the fillings

  • ¥850 is how many US dollar ?

  • @12enma12 about $9.

  • WOw..

    thats not texpensive then~!

  • not so instant if it takes 8 minutes to heat up

  • très intelligent ces japonais !

  • donkey kong country 2!

  • okay? how did the string heat up the noodles?

  • @daisyXcrazi

Its a play on chemistry...something about Pressure * Volume = Temperature.

The string probably had some suction/inflation action, causing the whole container to heat up to where the noodles and sauce would cook through the increased pressure.

  • @fastweirdo I don't think that's exactly true, If it were then why does pressurized air cause its container to freeze if released to long, As well as they put scuba tanks in warm water to stop the cooling process while filling them. I think its probably a thermal reaction and the string pulls one chemical into the other.

  • yuck

  • Was it necessary to heat up the fork? HAHAHA

  • its cool.... but man does it look gross.

  • @smellyface101

It's doesn't look that bad... (or i'm reeeeeeally hungry right now XD)

  • @smellyface101 Looks pretty damn good in my opinion. Just like normal spaghetti

  • @tsaikamho520

Wait, how are you wasting time when you are COOKING YOUR FOOD?

Hell, this takes less time than MICROWAVING NOODLES.

Stop talking out of your ass.

  • wait how in the world did you reheat the spagheti?

  • @bananajoythe1st

theres a chemical reaction goin on used in the soon to be hot coffee to go thing- its like icy/hot but uses 2 types of liquids making it boil up to 250 degrees...

.....actually im not sure.... just a guess

  • @XPlayer52c

You've got the right idea. Pulling the string removes a barrier between two chemicals that create an exothermic (heat generating) reaction...looots of heat! the chemicals mix in a chamber that sits below the noodles (but does not mix with the noodles) and works like a stove would.

Awesome idea...unfortunately the only thing I have seen like this in my country (USA) is crappy hot chocolate.

Where's my Cowboy Bebop noodles, damnit?!

  • wait wait.. is that the one that you buy at star bucks..

  • pulling a string makes it hot???

  • Hell yeah ravenboy eating japanese vending machine pasta and kickin ass with raven = thumbs up, btw ravenboy are u playing tekken 6 on psn ?

  • yeah my psn is ravenboyrh

But I'm from Australia so if you arent from NZ or Australia might not be very decent connection

  • this is the music from donkey kong

  • its probable magnesium and something else and pulling the string mixes the water making heat ( probably same chemicals found in MRE)

  • That. Is. SOOOO FREAKIN COOOL!

  • That's a quite a big portion...

  • haha, it'll be nice if we have these in america.

  • americans are fat enough

  • @Vza004 Your army does, they're called MRE

  • Is this real? Why doesn't the plastic melt. Man Jappanese get the coolest vending machines. Who needs a McDonalds if you could get something better quicker :D

  • I dunno... I was thinking of cutting it open but wasnt sure if it was safe... Whatever causes the chemical reaction is inside some sort of aluminium.

  • Does it have a warning label? If not you could always be one of those people who sue for their own stupidity :D

  • @jacobryanball10 do you really need to get that crazy over a self heating tv dinner?

  • @HomerBong YES!!! It is so cool! I want to use one some day!!

  • @jacobryanball10 than join the army.

  • Yeah but Japan probably has the best recycling system Ive ever seen over there... In Tokyo at least. Its so Clean

  • omg the packaging is so wasteful

  • Pulling the string cause some kind of chemical reaction with lime and some other stuff... The bottom of the container has water so it heats up, causing the food to cook... Its surprisingly heavy like over a kilogram at least
