you have to spin it until it sounds the same note as the 4th string, but lower... the degrees vary from guitar to guitar

take you Low E string and tune it to D so that your D (which was an E) will be a 5th to your A sting and and octave to your high d sting

if you didnt notice, he was explaining what he was doing. thats what you do in an instructional video. its meant for beginners and therefore explaining is required. dont leave negative comments just because you have an anger management problem. i found this video very helpfull.
