I love this classic song remake with its contrasting beauty with a grunge beneath it. Alexander Krull's growling German accent along with her opera voice has intense effect. I also like the message in the video. This is one of my favorite songs from "Werk"

Ok as a final opinion. The cover isn't HORRIBLE it's not very good but it's not horrible or a joke. Now the vocals really do bring this song down but i still enjoy it because of the music it's self. It really has an epic feeling to it. Im also a sucker for liv kirstines vocals i loved her singing forever. Now as for the atroitys vocalist he just needs some kind of emotion in his vocals they sound really bored and dead.

I liked it. His voice isn't my favorite but it kind of worked for the music being played and added an interesting element to the music. The band worked well with the choir, and her voice was beautiful and helped tie the song together. I think most people are just butt hurt because they don't like that it's a cover of A-ha.

OK, so Alex might not have the best voice, big deal. It's not like he's Atrocity, the band is more than one member. They have been around for 25 years for something. I think the cover is really good...Alex's vocals, could've been better, but the music, and the choir is, IMO, great. The addition of Liv's vocals was a huge plus as well, she's got a really sweet voice and I love how that contrasts with the hard music.

I think Liv Kristin is, by far, the most overrated voice in metal. Actually, the woman can barely sing and carry a tune. It beats me how many people can't see that and consider her a great singer. She's not, and I find it offensive that she presents herself as a 'soprano'. Does she know what a soprano is and sounds like? Do people who adore her know what a soprano is? In the 1990s I was listening to ToT and used to think she was hot. Now even that is gone...

Well, I am a huge fan of symphonic/operatic metal. I have watched both this and the original several times now...

More is not always better. While both singers have good voices... the blending of the two in this song is not a blending, simply two people singing the same song. While there are moments where they actually sing together, the overall feeling of this song left me feeling well... honestly... it hurts in many parts. Sadly enough, on this cover, I'd have to go with the original.
