@SeiferVII There's not many at all, I wouldn't suggest it since it's almost exactly alike. However if you find yourself bored and want to revisit DN again, I'd suggest watching it :)
@wolvespirit17 he's from the LA BB murder case. He used to be in the whammy house but later ran away and to get revenge on L he became a serial killer to created a case that L couldn't solve. There's a novel by Nisio Isin Called Death Note Another Note. You should really read it.

It should be noted that in Another Note BB was specifically noted as having NATURAL black hair. Therefore, while the kid shown in the hallway could be BB, there's no way that the kid standing in front of the computer could be him.
There was a time in one of the episodes where Light said something like, "Imagine what it's like to be in my shoes," about L's suspicion of him being Kira. Then L mumbled, "It felt terrible...". I'm not sure if it's relevant, but it seems like it.
You do realise that person who you think is BB is actually Matt? Yes BB is real but he WASNT in the anime, just te book, plus eh did suicide. Why doesnt the Matt have red hair? Thats because its frrom the manga and they edited it so you would think its L but fail:)

BB was the Second person to join Wammy's house, the first being L, intended to be L's successor, but left and became a serial killer, leaving clues for L, and intending to create a case even L couldn't solve, and in the end, and went on a killing spree, with his last intended target being himself. He was stopped from killing himself by Naomi, hence L's mention of her on the BB Murder case, and was arrested, later dying of heart attack during Lights initial killings
How do we know B is dead for sure? The only way Kira could have killed B would have been to have his name & face.
If Light hacked into police records I'm sure he could get B's name, but sine Whammy's house dosn't give out pictures of the Whammy kids there was no way Light could have killed B for he still needs B's face.
Unless Light had found the ONLY picture of B in existance, which i find HIGHLY un-likely.

Someone had a theory that it was someone pretending to be L, and L was in there with them to observe the children and then chose Mello and Near as his possible successors, but I don't know if that's it though :/
The guy at Wammys cant be BB. When Kira is killed Near is about 12- 15 years old. At Wammys he looks almost the same.
is arrested about 3 years befor Kira starts killing. Kira is captured after about 6 years or so and that means Near would be about 3-6 years old, way younger than he looks like in that clip.
Maybe the makers of the anime even thought that this was BB thmselves, but didn't think it through.

He knows BB is in jail if not he would have been alerted. second this is also not BB's style he kills very differently. Lastly BB dies in before Light gets into the taskforce. Kira killed him while Mello was still in the orphanage and went to visit him.
Please, where did you get the clip from the orphanage from? I haven't found those particular subtitles anywhere else (after all, it does differ a lot from what L says in the other subbed versions of this scene).

you know in episode 7 Naomi says something about the "Los Angeles BB Case" to Light. also when Misa's voice on a kira tape mentions the Shinigami Eyes, L freaks out cuz he knows BB was born with those eyes. they are the only scenes in the anime where Beyond Birthday is mentioned.
@Eval999 Believe me, I've read the novel. Shinigami were never even discussedl. And it was the narrator (Mello) who established that he had shinigami eyes. L would have no way of knowing that.

amazing observations!!!! i never picked up on any of that.....possibly because i was fairly young when i was watching death note for the first time and i was too infatuated with L to really even care, haha. but those clips are amazing!!!!
In the death note rewrite 2 L's successors that is not beyond it is the shadow that makes the kids hair black and if you look at the manga (not sure which one) it is Matt who is standing there and all the kids are wearing longsleeves with jeans so i can see wear you might be mistaken but that not BB.
It's not that he's blonde, it's the light that makes him look blonde. When There was the scenes of L thinking, sometimes his hair would appear yellow, as the light on him.
They should turn the LA: BB murder cases novel into either a movie (Not live action but anime please) and/or anime episodes. That would be awesome. I want some L Vs BB!
the boy below the text box at @1:43 can't be A. The creator of death note, when asked that question he answered that A was a girl and the only very prominent female successor of his. You know, before she committed suicide.
Thanks for posting this, very cool. And yeah, the animators messed up, but if you look closely at every anime, there are several mistakes. Oh, and reality shows and movies have that problem too. It's fun to spot. Thanks again!
And this is what I get for watching the English dub. In the dub, I don't remember the BB murder cases being brought up once. It sucks, because BB is my favorite Death Note character besides L.

The first is a direct reference.
The second is because he thought it was a code, and it intrigued him.
The third scene is from the Rewrite Episodes.
The first of the third is not him.
The second of the third is most likely him.
The final of the third is a flashback of L.

He is not the BB. Look well and the video will notice that Near and Mello appears.
Mello and Near are not the generation of the BB. BB is the first generation so it is not BB in 1:43, nice try.

@devilgothprincess I think it clicked in his mind. But he didn't think it was BB. He knows BB is in jail if not he would have been alerted. second this is also not BB's style he kills very differently. Lastly BB dies in before Light gets into the taskforce. Kira killed him while Mello was still in the orphanage and went to visit him.

Please, where did you get the clip from the orphanage from? I haven't found those particular subtitles anywhere else (after all, it does differ a lot from what L says in the other subbed versions of this scene).

you know in episode 7 Naomi says something about the "Los Angeles BB Case" to Light. also when Misa's voice on a kira tape mentions the Shinigami Eyes, L freaks out cuz he knows BB was born with those eyes. they are the only scenes in the anime where Beyond Birthday is mentioned.

@Eval999 Believe me, I've read the novel. Shinigami were never even discussedl. And it was the narrator (Mello) who established that he had shinigami eyes. L would have no way of knowing that.

In the death note rewrite 2 L's successors that is not beyond it is the shadow that makes the kids hair black and if you look at the manga (not sure which one) it is Matt who is standing there and all the kids are wearing longsleeves with jeans so i can see wear you might be mistaken but that not BB.

Thanks for posting this, very cool. And yeah, the animators messed up, but if you look closely at every anime, there are several mistakes. Oh, and reality shows and movies have that problem too. It's fun to spot. Thanks again!

And this is what I get for watching the English dub. In the dub, I don't remember the BB murder cases being brought up once. It sucks, because BB is my favorite Death Note character besides L.
