How can a pastor move his congregation from the King James version to a better translation?

@mastercheef12345 took the words out of my mouth, tue original scrolls were inspired: the original law and the prophets, the original GOSPELS, and the original letters, those were written by the SPIRIT through willing vessels such as isaiah, matthew, and paul. william tyndale is the one who translated the original english translation of the BIBLE if i am not mistaken, which was translated from latin scripts in which the catholic monks used, the latin script was translated from the original greek

@mrmark262 1. No, The original autographs of the Bible are inspired. Inspiration does not extend to manuscripts and particularly not on a particular translation.

The versions AFTER the KJV are translated to give preeminence to the scholars' personal belief of the Godhead (trinity), by denigrading the NAME "...that is above every name that is named..." to a secondary position after the word "trinity".

In Jesus is the "...fullness of the Godhead, bodily...': and His is the NAME "...under heaven, given among men, in which we must be saved." MORE: "...repentance and remission of sins should be preached IN HIS NAME...".

I don't know what this ESV is your referring to but you can't take one translation to justify them all useless... If we play this game then we should call the King James version blasphemy and force everyone to learn ancient greek and hebrew.

@PacificNW326 Read the book of Acts. God created the many languages, you honestly think He can't provide us with His word in our own language? He promised to preserve it. His Word demands that it be translated seems how there are many languages, just because its a translation doesn't mean it's not His word. The Word of God is not bound! @PacificNW326 I'm talking about the English Translation, not greek and hebrew. If someone has the TR from which the KJV was translated and want to read that instead then go right ahead. That's not my argument, I want people on the Word of God, it's either the KJV and the manuscripts in which it came or its a corrupt bible (i.e modern version) that came from corrupt manuscripts.

@TheKJVberean - If you don't think the Holy Spirit can assist one to discern the Word of God from lies, then you do not know the Holy Spirit. Do you understand the manuscripts used by the KJV translaters are newer than the ones used by the translaters of the NIV? Did you know that NIV translaters removed verses that scribes had added to the KJV manuscripts because those verses were NEVER there originally. We know this because there are older manuscripts in existence than those of the KJV.

@PacificNW326 I would like to point out that you are arguing about a translation. The point is, there is no argument to be made. We don't even have the original Aramaic Gospels we have the Greek translations of the Aramaic. The argument is one that was made by a classmate in seminary, reading the Hebrew and Greek versions is very different than the KJV or NIV. Its a different experience all together, but all christians cant be expected to learn Latin, Greek and Hebrew.

You do not even know the "Word of God". Who or what is the 'Logos'? The 'Logos' is the word of God.
