  • That is a great quick response bag, thanks skinnymedic and sootch00.

  • more videos with skinnymedic

  • If you don't have a window punch, then you can just put the point of your knife to the window and slam the butt with your palm as hard as you can.

  • "this will prevent fluids from getting into your mouth"

"unless its from a really hot chick"

LOL im glad i subbed after nutn had you on

  • Great suggestions never thought of a paramedic bag only focused on the kit.

  • can you guys do a vidoe on the s&w first responders window punch in action??

  • a very good subject to cover.... Great job guys...

  • nice thx sootch00

  • who makes your intro song sootch?

  • great vid, i like the fact that your touching on this subject. the 1st aid kit you showed is perfect for someone new to medical or just to keep in a car. the only thing id change are the CPR face shelds DX them and heres why. in an adult i would never use one not worth the waste of time and i know they are also changing the standards for CPR as to where rescue breaths are not used in adults. chilren on the other hand it is very important to give breaths. however i still would not use them.

  • Another great vid sootch.

  • Really cool video Sootch.

  • awsome vid dude keep it up

    kind regards

  • Good Info! Thanks Alot!

  • I really like when y'all tagteam videos. As always, good stuff. Maybe later you could put some annotations to link to Skinny Medic's specific videos about specific injuries (like his airway/breathing one). Thanks for posting!

  • Great vid and i see skinny has the paracord bracelet great information thanks . I definatley want the s&w knife .

  • I am taking a First Aid and Emergency response college course that certifies us at the end.

I took it because I figured it would come in handy AND it filled a requirement credit-wise.

One of our assignments is to build a kit for our car. I already have a prebuilt kit from Walmart, but I will be adding to it as I can.

  • Cool knives!

  • Are thoses Kits for Sale?

  • Are these First Aid Kits for Sale?

  • Great stuff! I just got my EMT Certification this year. Thanks Skinnymedic for your service!

  • It's great that you guys take the time to come up with these very helpful vids that might save someone's life. Thank you

  • first aid vids are good for everyone, but most are super long, 9 mins is one of the best i have seen, but most people (myself included) have short attention spans, if you can compress it to 3 mins, i think more people would watch all the way through the end, and get the info they need.

love the vids, keep up the good work friend.

  • Thanks great vid!!!

  • Thanks for educating me on the topic of CPR filter shields. I've taken numerous CPR courses and no one has ever mentioned the possibility of inner-mouth-vomit-contact. I'll be picking some up ASAP.

  • Very good video thanks for your efforts to keep us informed.

  • Thanks for the great video, very informative.

  • If this topic is not already in the pipeline can you two do a video about first aide type courses anyone can take and any other studies about first aide?

  • @LooseLatitude Thanks for the request. That's a great subject to cover.

  • DCAP-BTLS

  • quick-clot?

  • Thank your medic friend, sootch...this was a great video

  • Very informative and fun to watch, good job.

  • sootch rocks!

  • Very good....What kind of medical shears are those, cause most of the ones I come across are junk?

  • isnt there a huuricane set on hitting n carolina tomorrow

  • @rangers11000 It seems as if it is going to skirt our coast line and head on up North. Cape Hatteras might get buffeted some. We will see.

  • So My Name's Jesus Rubio I'm 21 Years Of Age And I Have Been Thinking Lately Of Purchasing A Weapon Just To Keep Around And I Was Wondering If You Had Any Suggestions On Which Gun Rifle Or What Not I Was Also Wondering If I Will Need A Special Permit O What Requirements Would I Need To Fulfill? Thank You And Keep Up The Good Work Love Your Videos... God Bless :)

  • @jellyteddybear That's a lot of questions for the comments section of YouTube. Right off the back I'll ask a couple questions back first. 1) Are you in the United States? 2) What state do you live in. 3) What do you intend the firearm to be used for?

I'm no expert but if you want to PM me, I can try and help with some of these questions.

  • Another outstanding video. Thanks Sootch and SkinnyMedic.

  • this isnt an insult, but its great when your videos end. "unless its a really hot chick"

"and really looking for help,.. ah la, fla la la." ha ha, sootch youre crazy.

  • I've always liked the little guitar intro

  • very well done...Thanks!

  • Damn Sootch, you got some very loud tree spiders!!!

  • Grab some Celox products for the first aid kit. Stops bleeding right away, from cuts to gunshot wounds. Bleeding out is one of the top reasons people die. With Celox or Quikclot , you will have the ability to stop severe bleeding quickly. You will still have to get the wound cleaned and stitched up, but at least you won't bleed out. Search youtube for some good videos on these products.

  • great video!

  • good job

  • People rag on me for being skinny, well the way i see it is,i im more agile that all those buff people ; )

  • Good job guys !!

  • Glad I am not the only one who has to film a vid 5 times before he can get it halfway right. lol Good information as always Sootch!!

  • Very cool.

  • Great, practical information!

  • Great stuff, as always. Thanks a bunch for the information and keep it coming!

  • Very informative, good stuff!

  • 8:55 FTW!! :)

    Great vid, gents. Much appreciated.

  • great video man,I've learned alot, loved the bloopers at the end to LOL.

  • One thing that I have been thinking about is extra prescription medications. If someone is on recurring medication, it might be a good idea for that person to ask his or her doctor for an extra month or so supply for a bug-out-bag or first aid bag. Also, be sure to keep all extra prescription medications such as pain relievers and antibiotics after dental work, etc.

  • great vid sootch and skinny

  • Gave me some tips that I did not know about. Thanks !

  • Excellent ,outstanding, superior, extraordinary and quality

    info thanks shootch and skinny!!!!

  • Good kit guys. A little big for a BOB or camping trip but perfect for a vehicle or other places when the size and weight is not an issue.

  • man, I wish I knew an EMT..., I have a feeling that they might have a good resource for "affordable" (aka free) supplies.

  • Very cool! I need to have my cub scouts watch these videos before we study first aid.

  • Great video. Maybe have a neutral or camo bag if you need to hide the bright colorations in WORL / Zombie / Tyranny scenerio would be my only concern. After 72 hrs people start going nuts without supplies and medi kit would be one thing they might kill for after a few days.

  • I need to get a new one of these, my old one is kind of lacking. Thanks for reminding me to update this.

  • @Outdoorsforum do you even know what a first aid kit is? You plan to patch up gashes with paracord, maybe plug artieries or bullet wounds with... bullets..? Sure you can survive with that stuff.. until you get hurt..

  • @BitFox It was a freakin joke!!! Of course I know what it is and I have a fairly well prepared one.

  • @Outdoorsforum XP Mine was a joke too, I checked your channel before I commented ya know, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to mock a bad joke, hehe

  • @BitFox Lol.

  • @Outdoorsforum You sound like a 14 year old kid sounding off on something your very passionate about, take a basic first aid course and CPR and you will be better prepared and actually understand the seriousness of first aid.

  • @Outdoorsforum lol man remind us not to join your outdoors forum hahah. Seriously this kid applies to everyday. I treated a 3 inch open wound recently that was full of maggots (example). So good luck with no 1st aid kit.
