Sidney Crosby is the best player in the NHL. It's a shame that he's out with a concussion, as it is for all the victims of cheap headshots. The league must find a way to cut down these headshots for ALL the players. I'm not sure how tho.. Better helmets? Enforce the rule book more? Stiffer penalties and suspensions for delivering headshots? All of the above and more is the right answer, I suppose.

Crosby said himself that he had a lucky break (goalie went to the poke check which opened up his five hole), but it's brilliant how he was able to actually direct the puck through like that. Most players would have just caused a scrum in front of the net or gone to the boards.
