  • Rachel maddow is AAAWSOME!

  • Why are so many of our leaders bent on "spreading Democracy" when WE don't even live in a Democracy!!! If we wanted to propogate the American system of government around the world, they should be saying they are "spreading Constitutional Republicanism."

  • Why do you even bother giving this motherfucker minutes of your time? Ignorant. Ignorant. Ignorant. My God.

  • @predonin Lyin ass bitch.

  • this nigga dumb

  • The Daily Nebraskan is a rag.

  • you are one reason I vote for this nut due to your hate for the GOP

  • See, another person who has been raised under there specific religion and don't even research/study other religions.

  • As for this video, to the clown saying "Islam is an anti-Christ religion" does he not realize Muslims believe in Jesus and the coming of Jesus? Ignorance is what keeps humanity back...kindly read up on what you're trying so hard to defame at least!

  • sounds like the bible

  • Muslim's take their religous text literaly, um so do christians.

  • This guy is a complete dork. Can you believe someone like him as President. Who funds someone like this? A jihadhist????

  • Anybody else think Rachel Maddow is a bitch?

  • Muslims take their religious text literally?

Well I'm glad we have Rick standing up for us becau....oh wait, Rick takes the Bible literally? Especially as it relates to homosexuality's morality? Hmm, interesting.

  • @OpinionatedJosh Ignorant comment. If people started preaching that all Christians were bent on taking over the world I would "support" the Christians against that opposition. Not all Muslims are anti-feminist in fact I believe most Muslims aren't in the middle east.

  • @RuinSonic Outside of the middle east tell me the % of Muslim woman who are being suppressed?

  • @OpinionatedJosh usually but not always

  • @OpinionatedJosh I guess that's why gay marriage is permitted in many Islamic mosques in the US? STFU.

  • @sykopath66190 Any references to prove your fantasy?

  • @OpinionatedJosh Marriage in the US is a legal contract. It's just a matter of finding a building to host the ceremony, be it a church, a mosque, a temple/synagogue, or a Masonic Lodge. It doesn't matter.

  • @OpinionatedJosh Islam does not permit homosexuality, but if a person is a homosexual a Muslim must respect his or her views. And Islam is anti-feminist? Islam was the first religion to stress the equality of women and men. Men and women are equal in creation and in the afterlife, but not identical. One person does not come before the other, one is not superior to the other, A woman is not created for the purpose of a man. Rather, they are both created for the mutual benefit of each other.

  • @oichakdeyphatay if it is not a misogynist religion, then why are men allowed multiple wives, and women are restricted from doing anything without a male relative present or doing it for them? Women get screwed in islamic countries, look at the one that got lashed for driving a car. Or the ones that get stoned,...stoned, in 2011, it is too barbaric, it is a culture I find revulsive.

  • @Calimantalkin Why did Christians cut peoples heads off if they taught that the world was round? Why did Christians kill homosexuals, people they taught were involved in witchcraft, and jewish people? See, i can play your game too. I can blame a whole religion for something done by a few idiots. You just got owned idiot.

  • @ZombieApocalyps not really, yes they did all those fucked up things...in the past, they are not still doing them. I am not the idiot in this pairing. The church has been a bloody bitch, no doubt, they have been a lot better the last couple hundred years. There will always be a few nuts wrapping themselves in it. Just like Christianity, the Muslim ideal, and the Muslim reality are not quite the same. It has been perverted to brainwash suicide bombers. I know not all are that way.

  • @OpinionatedJosh It's called being 'objective'.

  • @OpinionatedJosh Because she is not a bigot like you, i am Muslim, i am not anti-homosexual, or anti-feminist. I care not what gay men do as long as they leave me out of it and i have no problem with a women leading a company, country, ect. if she has good ideas. You are wrong and i dont think Jesus Christ would like that.

  • @OpinionatedJosh Well, it's no more or less so than the other Abrahamic religions.

  • Too bad Santorum is unelectable... What a big waste of time and resources.

  • What a dipshit that Rick Santorum truly is. Christians, Jews, and other religious people can be just as extremist as some muslims.

  • @TheTemplar5 BULLSHIT , OVER 18 000 MUSLIM TERRORIST ATTACKS SINCE 9/11 IS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU ? LEARN ABOUT SHARIA AND THE KORAN

  • If Liberals hate a principled man like Rick Santorum, then to that degree I lose respect for Liberals.

  • I'm afraid people like Rachel Maddow are typical of the left wing pseudo-intellects that we have have had in Britain for decades. They always ridicule people with conservative values as being somehow naive, but when it comes down to it, it is the conservatives who have to clean up their mess.

Many of you will have seen the riots here in Britain over the last few days. Well, let me tell you America, this is where liberalism ends up. With chaos, and with liberals blaming everyone but themselves.

  • @willfield1 You speak of nothing. "I am afraid people like A is part of group B, in which group B are all blah blah blah"... Go back to your cave.

On this particular issue, it is a fair attack. The individual here, which happens to be a conservative, tries to fear monger on minority without getting the basic right.

  • Rick," frothy mixture" Santorum rates right up there with Palin as far intelligence is concerned.

  • ROFL! Rick Santorum, "seldom have I met a dumber member!" lol

  • Rachel Maddow is an Oxford educated Rhodes Scholar (take note Christine O'Donnell) who has her pulse on what is right in American politics. Her nightly show contains the most well researched information I've ever seen or heard. The difference between the accuracy of her programme and the low brow, muck raking rubbish on the Fox Network is in a word QUALITY. Rachel cares about her audience enough to ensure that she delivers only the best in television journalism. Rachel is an American treasure.

  • madcow sucks. she is a new low for journalism

  • @rigatony019 When you have Dr. Maddow's intelligence and educational credentials then you can comment on her. As for now you need to go back to the ignorant kiddie table you uneducated dolt.

  • @RImusclebear no, just as you commented on me, I can comment on her now.

  • The CRR(Conservative Religious Right) and Pres Bush referred to the war in Iraq as a "crusade"...nothing new, bunch of douchebags.

  • Look at the woodchuck Sanatorium! We the voters of Pennsylvania already voted this moron out of the Senate by a WHOPPING 18 points. Why the hell would ANYONE else want the jerk??

  • She's a female version of that guy Howard Stern called Pig Vomit. She looks like a pig and makes me want to vomit.

  • McCain rejected Parsley's endorsement? McCain, a Naval Academy grad who can't stand the Birchers & the crazies that have kicked out the moderates & turn around & call everyone who criticizes their lockstep jackboot mentality as, "radicals". This naturally leads them to call Obama a fascist. Fascist being a new Glenn Beck word added to their limited political vocabulary. That makes 3 new words in the last 30 yrs. *communess*, *sochallist* Islamofascist for those fascists who speak *Islamo*.
  • Everyone google "santorum" right now.

  • Rachel Madcow... Need I say more. A Lesbian that hates all Conservatives and Republicans... She is a card carrying member of the American Communist Party no less!

  • @SSGTVDOG Then why are you watching her videos? You have a choice to watch it.

  • @Cozybop - Keep your friends close, your Enemies closer! How better to know the enemies of the Republic then to monitor them.

  • @SSGTVDOG ...hey hey hey, watch your mouth. She's worked very hard at gaining the title of a dyke and a cunt. And now you want to diminish that by calling her a lesbian and a cow? Are you out of your fucking mind?

  • Rachel Madcow... Need I say more. A Lesbian that hates all Conservatives!

  • Well in the Quran it say's not to rest until Islam dominates the world, so...

  • Boo hoo he made one fucking mistake the left loves spotting a few mistakes and getting erections over it and I hate all religions but why is this schmuck protecting islam while brutally attacking christianity? Cowardly assholes these liberals are! Cowards!

  • @Hotrod7031 wow, you must really like frothy fecal matter anal lube

  • the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex

  • @2edsajdmsa other wise known as pRick, oops I meant to write Rick Santorum

  • I bet he would go a klan meeting

  • this is funny. Rick Santorum is a great comedian.

  • Santorum

Santorum 1. The frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex. 2. Senator Rick Santorum.

  • Some Christians believe the bible is word for word from God - despite being written by people. Extremists exist in all religious worlds.

  • The Republican Party… Helping the Muslim extremist recruiting drive like no one else can!

  • SANTORUM = FROTHY MIX ( Google it).

  • I love her.

  • How nice to hear Rev. Gaddy [?]; he is articulate, rational, and Christian! I can't imagine why anyone would pay someone with the credentials [?] of Santorum to speak to students.

Thanks Rachel. And thanks to whomever posted this.

  • What a hateful misguided people (Christians, Jews, & Muslims.) But what makes the fundamenatlist Muslims think their (only 1,400 year old) BRAND of Organized Religion (vomit) is the Only word, but in this modern era, will still stone you, dismember you, execute you, bomb you, set you afire, or rip their daughters womanhood from her, like so many barbaric cave-dwellers. Phobia means an irrational fear. But you hug them, Rach! Oh, and Kennedy would have been stoned by Islamists for adultery!

  • What Madcow got to "correct" a Male? I'll bet that did more for her love life than watching 3 hrs of "Girlie" movies.

  • @Pattycakessmiles I'm willing to bet Rachel has had more hot ass than you ever will in your sad stupid life.

  • @uchihaangelus Thats a lowlife, scummy contest I will gladly lose, ANYTIME!

  • that "rev. dr. c. welton gaddy" guy's right eye is significantly higher than his left, or is his face crooked? i could not pay attention to the discussion, that is all that distracted me

    am i seeing things?

  • your missing the point, your using a person to prover your point who had as much understanding of human psychology as an empty jar. and yeh i have done a lot more with my life then come up with random useless theories that I couldn't even prove by myself and contribute weapons of instant mas holocaust

  • Einstein, a "bumbling idiot"? Right... And you've done what with your life? (Typical remark from a non-contributing zero.)

  • i think it was Einstein who said that imagination is more important than knowledge. if that's indeed true, then Rick Santorum should be all set.

  • Einstein was a bumbling idiot who couldn't even tie his own shoelaces. the reason he said "imagination is more imp.." was because he couldn't prove any of his theories outside his equations.

  • Centercity1 is right. The guy who came up with the general and special theories of relativity was a "bumbling idiot". If I ever met him I'd be like, "way to go EINSTEIN."

  • santorum is the typical racist homophobic sexist retarded republican conservative who wants to live in the past and can't stand progress.

  • Comment removed

  • BFD. Everything else he said is correct. Now shouldn't MSNBC get back to covering Joe the Plumber?

  • Maddow looks like Steve Garvey

  • Rachel you are right, just in the wind.

  • ratings doesn't equate to credibility. rating = popularity...e.g. fox news.

  • except he is speaking as if he is an expert on the subject. There is not even an "Islamic" language.

That would be like someone saying that are an expert on The United States, and they saying we speak American.

  • rednecks say "speak american" all the time.

  • @Kravis63 dont think anybody needed you to repeat the same thing maddow said in the comments...

  • I like this guy but one of his eyes is like 5 inches higher than the other!

  • Comment removed

  • sure it's not healthy for somebody like you to get educated, it shows you how friggin idiotic conservatives who listen to Rush and Hannity have become.

truth and facts are for losers to have some kind of logical basis for their opinions, right?

  • Debate anything with me on here. I'll destroy your emotional idiological reasoning.

  • pick any subject and lets see what I know or what you know about it. If we disagree I doubt you can prove me wrong, but I am not idiotic enough to ignore facts so if you can prove your point I won't have a problem admitting it. But I wonder if you will be able to admit you are wrong when faced with overwhelming evidence, I just got done proving Reagan raised taxes for almost everybody, except the wealthy and the poor person I debated with could not accept the overwhelming proof Bring it on!

  • I would not argue that. You are correct. You can't argue that Obama is not raising taxes on everyone not through the actual federal income tax rate but through increasing taxes on goods and services directly.

My point is that rarely is there any content in this show that is not based on context and slip ups of people speaking.

  • Yes taxes are going to go up, but after the last 30 years there isn't much Obama can do different if we are going to get out of the mess Reaganomics put us in.

I think you are right in some cases of this show trying to make "mountains out of mole hills" but compared to Rush, Hannity, Coulter, Beck, O'Reilly, this show puts them to shame. I seem to recall many of these conservatives calling it the "Obama recession" back in November. Maddow always seems to have the facts on her side

  • rightly put lisa..unlike cons. fox news, where journalism has been tranformed into mere sensationalism and popularity contest (not to mention turning far-right xenophobia into facts to serve corporate interests and retartded conservative ideology) rachel actually does her job with FACTUAL rebuttal..sth those mindless- ramblers at fox just can never do...

  • Holy crap dude. Id hate to debate you.

  • your wrong lisa... the new GOP mantra is that truth and facts are for GAYS. commonsense is for losers.

  • It's kind of like when Biden said the US "kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon". Or when Obama said he had "been to 57 states". Maybe I missed her show that evening, but I don't recall Ms Maddow correcting either one at the time.

  • I consider Canada to be part of the 57 states, I jsts wish Ottawa would just cave in and get the message.

  • There's a difference between mistakes and xenophobia. Get over thinking about rebuplicans vs. democrats or whatever it is that has got you pissed off, and start realizing that those people over there in "Islomoban" or whetever Santorum calls it are human as well. I'm sure there's plenty of grounds for attacking religions, overseas and in America as well, but there's little good in the ridiculous factless hate-mongering of Santorum. He makes me very ashamed to be from Pennsylvania.

  • Fear of Islam is all over the world not just the west and there is nothing irrational about that. Go ask the millions around the world who are being killed by Muslims. Every time a group of people convert to Islam, violence and intolerance ensues. And if they have no infidels to kill, they attack their own rival Muslims and mosques. Millions of black African Muslims were massacred in Darfur simply for not being Arab. Islam it NOT about peace, but submission and (sexual) repression.

  • But not all who are foreign to Islam are as ignorant and as pathetic as Santorum.

  • The ex-senator is the perfect example of misconception on Islam. This is what happened whn someone foreign to Islam giving talks on Islam like he knows everything. funnay ppl! funnay!

  • Is the Quran really only published in Arabic?

  • No it is not only published in Arabic. One can find translations in almost all if not all languages in the World.

BUT, one thing to remember is that according to Islamic beliefe the only true Quran is that which was originially revealed in Arabic because it was directly from God and has not changed or been altered since it was first recieved by Muhammad. All translations are considered deficient to the original because they are translations of the word of God and not the actual words of God.

  • @Descendone Also, the Quran loses its poetic properties when translated.

  • @Descendone do you know how many languages their are?

  • @Descendone Nothing wrong with that. Catholics use to only allow bibles written in Latin. Interesting thing though is that Santorum is faulting Muslims for reading their holy book in Arabic while saying nothing about his own holybook written in a language not yet invented when Jesus died or even before that when the Jews left Egypt.

  • That's muslim apologetic bullshit. Anything can be translated even though it might take more words and btw most Muslims have never read any Quran themselves let the alone "the original" which was not written by Allah, that's the same argument Christians used in the middle ages. Muhammed is also not a name but a title just like Christ is. You may be a Muslim but there is a big difference between wish thinking and historical fact. The quran is reinterpreted (plagiarized) from the older testaments.

  • @johnedwards1968 its only ever recited in arabic

  • another American genius

  • Thank the 'lord' America may be coming to itts senses!

  • oh my god you guys should learn about islam before referring about it...

  • when there was no police or government religion was created. Created to make people fear committing sins like stealing and murder because they would go to hell it was the only was to keep the people honist now we have actual police why do we need these ghost stories?

  • Oh come on.. Human-made laws can't prevent people from wrong-doing. Without faith, people will more likely to commit wrong-doing because they can get away from the legal system and worldly punishment. Look at Enron, and recently Madoff.. Those are just the few who have been caught. What about other multi-million dollar scams. Fear from God regulates human behaviour. It is naive to think that laws and government can prevent sinful actions when the government is not susceptible of being guilty

  • well i do agree with you there religion can make people believe there are other consequences besides jail or even death with religion they can lower crime but really if they where gonna comit a crime i dont think religion would stop them theres lots of people that kill for religion or just kill. also sins are human made laws but that was then this is now if they rewrote it today there would be way more stuff on there.would you rather know you would spend life in prison or mybe life in hell?

  • So are you saying that everyone that ripped us off at the level of Enron doesn't believe in religion? Madoff is Christian by his own words. Fear from God only exists in the small minded people that actually buy into religious hypocrisies. I have seen more death dealt by the hands that tout there religion as being the "only" religion.

  • Anyone can claim to following a particular religious belief but that does not make them religious nor do they understand the central message being conveyed by the holy books. Madoff might have been a Christian but his faith towards God might have not been strong. In the 20th century, there were more civilian casualties resulting from war where religion was not the cause of conflict. America killed tens of thousands of civilians when they bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Was that just?

  • Actually it was just. It saved more than 60,000 US troops from dying by invading Japan. Speaking of WWII, I believe it was the Germans that obliterated over 3 million Jews and that had a lot to do with religious beliefs and ethnic superiority. This whole"my god is better than your god" mentality has gone where over the past 2000 years? The Holy Wars, the Spanish Inquisition... etc.

  • Are you arguing that killing unarmed civilians is just? A few thousand of them? So what you're saying is that it's okay to massacre the population of two whole cities because the enemy were criminals? The Nazis were the one's who killed the Jews, not the Japs. Why didn't US drop the bomb in Berlin or Munich then?

  • The bomb wasnt ready in time to drop on Berlin and by the time it was finished, Hitler was already dead so that is a moot point. I don't think massacring anyone is "just" I am saying the entire country was at war with us, both targets were selected because they were cities manufacturing most of there war materials and I am not going to go into a history lesson with you on this. Religion is the biggest proponents for the wars over the past 2000. Period

  • Okay.. So if Hitler is already defeated and the Fascist Italians were long gone, that leaves 2/3 enemies gone. I think by that time Iwo Jima has been captured and the US could easily invade Japan with ground forces, so why was the bomb dropped. I mean If 2/3rds of the enemies are defeated couldn't the allies work together to take down Japan? I think the greatest nations will always wage war against each other because of difference in ideologies whether it is religion or nationalistic ideas.

  • pretty most historians say that japan was on the verge of surrender and basicly none of them say we would've had to actually invade japan.

pretty sure truman knew that too

  • Your full of shit and there is nothing out there "expert-wise" to back you up on that false statement.

  • lol because there's so much evidence that we would've had to invade japan. or even that it makes any sense to say that killing a bunch of civilians and a couple weapons plants would've been the hair on the camel's back. and then the claim that it would've taken 60,000 troops to invade japan, funny how you know the exact number as if it actually happened lol.. where are your sources sir, oh wait we dropped the bomb and we killed a lot of women and children so no one knows

  • I say you are full of shit because first, I am a US history major, second my grandfather, 4 uncles and an aunt were stationed in the pacific during the war of which 3 of them actually fought and were stationed in Okinawa so they knew the troop level and lastly that number actually comes from Patton and his Generals. Read a fricking book you dipshit.

  • even if i believed one word of that it means jack shit unless you have any proof.

  • Where do you want me to send the proof? I have plenty of it. As I said... I can back everything I say up with facts, I read and I studied. You make blind claims and false observations. Where would you like proof sent to?

  • right here's fine by me. even my pro-iraq war conservative history professor at least mentioned that the japanese were on the verge of defeat and were probably within weeks of surrender. you didn't even address the very premises that the anti-bombing arguments are based on

  • religion was a good i dea when people thought the world was falt but now that we have facts i cant believe people hide behind this crap just so that they dont have to think for themselfs. america was founded to get away from the religion that was forced in them by the british and the french. but you still wanna believe it even say it american how can it be amerincan if it was around a long time before the country existed?

  • Islam and Christianity are both mythologies that are detrimental to the the long term survival of humanity.

Islam and Christianity both need to be debunked.

  • you ever lived next to arabs? no... well then...

  • who are you referring to?

  • @ompancho Do you mean literally or nationally? I have friends who are Arabs and they think Islam is a ridiculous, archaic and intolerant belief system (just like Christianity and Judaism). Arab is an ethnic definition it does not any religiou connotations whatsoever.

  • hahaha "torah written in jewish"

  • White trash
