I have heard many covers of this wonderful song. I have heard Paul sing this live -many, many times in concert in NY, but, man does Tom make this his own. His is the ONLY cover that matches note for note with Paul's. Also remember that Paul wrote this at the age of 24 or so and Tom sing this with an experience of a much older and wiser person. Even Paul sings it differently now. Thank you Paul for writing a beautiful piece of music that can then be sung by a great singer.

I think that comparing this version of the song with the original is like comparing a piano with garlic. They are totally different and need to be treated as such. I love both.

No creo yo no me fanatiso con los cantantes sabiendo de musica y de canto el Sr. Jones supera por mucho en tecnica, registro de voz, interpetacion y poder audible a cualquiera de los cantantes desde los 60 hasta los 80 comodamente por esas cualidades solamente porque tenia muchas mas.
