2. This is not fake.

3. This is from the demo version where the "real" way is not available, because the demo is supposed to end at the bridge. This alternate way to complete the puzzle is the very point of the video, and racked a lot of views back then, because it was, for most people, the only way to view these scenes before the full game became available for purchase.

Can anybody help me, im stuck at this part in the game I have both gems but it wont let me put the second one in or take the other one out. I have no idea if I did something wrong what to do. I went back to where the gems are across form each other and they are both gone but I cant put in the second one. Anyone who has an idea respond thanks.

Lara has all the weapons from the start in this game. Access her PDA to switch weapons. I think the button was Tab by default.

you know how at 1:52, you put a big crystal on the little crystal: do you have to do that in the final version of the game (not the demo), cuz i don't remember doing it in the xbox 360 version

No you don't. You don't even need to put it here, as the puzzle works with the original crystal in place.

It's the PC version, but I'm playing on the lowest graphic settings, and recording at a very low framerate, hence the video looks pretty crappy.

The grapple points are activated only after reaching the bottom, and you're not supposed to be able to get back up in any way. So gameplay within intended routes would not see this trick usable.

Brilliant - How do you get the grapple to attach to the bars either side at 4.15 & 5.15; 7.30?

I've seen another vid where she shoots the second one into position but I can't get the grapple to attach - anyone know?

The grapple points must be triggered first. Follow the link in the annotation at the beginning of the video, and visit the "window", an invisible wall, in one of the hallways. This appears to be to prevent you from jumping off higher levels and saving Lara with the grapple, like I do once on the video. Instead, they are only activated after Lara enters the hallway through other means (probably the bridge cutscene or something), and only then is supposed to trigger the grapple points usable.

Press tab on PC, probably start or select or something on X360, to bring up the PDA screen. You can view the sonar map, change Lara's second weapon and ask her for clues on what to do.

This seems to be the final boundary of the whole demo file. The demo still is SUPPOSED to end in dropping the bridge.

yeah - saw this other video that ended 'properly'. haven't downloaded this yet but it seems like a lot of the stuff you did wasn't 'meant' to be done in the demo. how'd you figure out all of that? i mean a lot a of the areas looked like you werent 'supposed' to be able to walk there

Getting there was a sum of coincidences... While only the X360 version of the demo was out, people already found glitches to descend to the lower levels. And then stuff just happened. xD

I have no idea, I've never bought one in my life. I have no idea what this computer's graphics card would cost alone, and you'd probably want a better one since this computer runs it a bit sticky even at minimum settings.
