I recently got the opportunity to drive the S5 on the Autobahn "A8" down to Munich-Bavaria. What an awesome piece of engineering. Perfectly finished interieur, awesome V8 sound, lots of torque and power. It's well balanced and offers such a smoth ride even at 155mph. Without doubt, BMW and Merc are great brands too, but Audi just rocks :P

this car is so awesome.. the only thing i find unbelievably wierd is the Electronic handbrake.. cuz i mean its a button.. brand new or not i prefer the old way

It might be a button and believe it's an powerfull button. as i owne an Audi a6, I once had a problem with that Electronic handbrake. it couldn't release it self. even accelerating a full rev it could release it ,that's how powerfull it was. luckly after 10 mins it released it self.

That guy has the most monotone voice I have ever heard... The S5 is awesome though, I'd take it over just about every sub 100k GT Coupe except maybe a Jaguar XKR (I don't consider Porsche a GT)

this is the first time i've seen an S5 with drive select and the torque-vectoring differential. can anyone confirm that all US-spec S5s will come this way?

This is the first time I've heard it either. To me it would make sense to debut both on this car....but I haven't heard it comfirmed....in their press release for the sport differential on the AWD - they said from '2008 onwards'
