  • ? Well I'll asume for arguments sake that yes they have devoleped male and female, so they reproduce and... wait what happens when she has the kid? does she die? ok so I'll also assume she lives (also a stretch) and the would the dad kill the kid? would he know not to? if so, how? Evolution is confusing... But anyway my point was over these three posts (which I might need one more) that in my opinion it's more possible to have a God that knows and sees everything,

  • So they would have to have devoleped the ability to think rational thoughts (or at least have instincts) in order to reproduce. But where this rational though/instincts came from I wouldn't know I'll leave that to you ;D. So anyway Assuming they survived and didn't get eaten/killed by anything else, they would still have to reproduce (not sure if they have functioning reproductive organs yet, by the way how does natural selection know to give us those organs?) but do we have male and femmale yet

  • People are assuming that everything started from the same spot. How do we know God didnt create EVERYTHING at the same time, meaning he created earth and a star that is 10,000,000 light years away?

Which would make the light theory wrong?

  • Why would God set it up so meticulously to trick us into NOT believing in him?

  • Children draw stick figures and artists create masterpieces. So why wouldn't God create a wonderful masterpiece?

  • Because all evidence points to his non-existence.

  • There is no evidence agains't God... You can't disprove him just becasue a quasar is 10 billion light years away. God did say "let there be light" by the way which means that the light that came from the sun, stars, and other sources of light out there, Was at the earth in an instant. God is not held back by the laws of nature, or the laws of man. He can't be, he created them. I realize this is barely good evidence, but considering light is all your willing to throw out there it's sufficient.

  • Alright, to put it in Darwinian terms...

The chances of a being emerging from nothing with no predecessor, with the ability to simultaneously read everyone's thoughts, change anything in the universe, control our experience once we die, while also remaining invisible and undetectable to everyone are, to put it lightly, extraordinarily slim.

  • Is that more likely then over 4.5 billion years a little microbe decided to evolve into somehting bigger and better and it kept doing that until it was human, at some point it would have to asexually reproduce creating another organism that would have to evolve. This organism would have to follow the SAME evolutionary patterns as the original or else we would have millions of different species today,oh wait we do... So anyway there would eventually be another human and they would then reprduce..

  • No, my scenario is much less likely.

Humans took many evolutionary steps to get their meek abilities, you claim God emerged immediately in tact, in one step, with NO predecessor and awesome powers.

Sorry to say, but reality has an atheist bias.

  • God did not 'emerge immediately in tact'. God has always been. You know... like FOREVER. That's kind of like 4.5 billion years except.... you know longer. The reason reality does not have an atheist basis is because we have a spirit, a conscience, a mind (not brain). these are things neither atheists nor evolutionists can explain or deny. Oh and the world isn't old enough for evolution (I figure this can get you going so go ahead and try to explain this ;D)

  • this video doesn't even prove anything. it's a general waste of time!

  • Actually the furthest observable galaxy is 12 billion light years.

What about Christians who believe in an old universe?

  • Light is not a constant. Time is also not constant. Check out the book "God at the speed of light". Even if it is ten billion light years away, it could have reached us in only a few days because time...slows...down. (wow)

  • Read better genesis 1 says 6 days no 6000years

  • 144 hours makes it better?

  • how do we know that the entire universe is in a vacuum?

  • notice whenever you see creation vs evolution videos that we never see a fellow cristian debating against the evolutionist (except for kent hovind) its always and usualy just the athiest by himself u never see him invite a cristian over to debate against creationism because we no he or she would be to scared to do it with such little useless information that they have and usually u only want to talk about one topic that u spent so much time on

  • i pity evolution

  • Arguing with hyper-religious people is frustratingly monotonous. "God dun it that way" is the general reply. So it seems pretty futile to try and argue something scientifically when the other side doesn't care to abide by any sort of logic.

  • You have to realize if a superior being (God) could create this world around us, what would prevent him from creating something so intricate as evolution. So it depends if you wanna say that this being just poofed it up in 7 days or had an intricate plan for us over billions of years.

  • actually from past experience (im a biologist) creationists rapidly realize that they dont know anything about biology and promptly switch to cosmology or geology which they think I dont have a good grasp of ....then they learn to leave me alone if they dont want to question the lies, misconceptions, and sheer BS they believe about science

  • the only time ive ever been stumped by a creationist is when I only have a few seconds to answer their questions...thats just not enough time to deal with years of misconceptions

  • There is a damn good reason why scientifically minded people don't like to debate creationists: Creationists lie. You people have no respect for the truth. A typical debate goes like this. We provide evidence, they turn it into a straw man argument, we point out the straw man, they change the subject to something extraneous, we point out the subject change, they ask for more evidence, we provide it, they employ the moving goalpost fallacy, we point that out, they declare victory.

  • Debate proves nothing except for who the better debater is. That's why creationists prefer debate over, oh I don't know, evidence. If I had zero evidence to support my position I would prefer debate too. Luckily my position is supported by millions of pieces of independently collected evidence. So I really have no need for debate. You on the other hand had better cling to that like a life preserver because that's all you have.

  • I like the simpler evidence of Lake Varves. Layers of sediment laid down in lakes. Just count the things. And many lakes here on this planet of ours are far older than six thousand years. That's some weird God these guys have, no?

  • Uh yes it does, light has to have one point of origination in order for that argument to work. Think about ir genius.

  • Magic man done it!

  • I am waiting for the bells to go off. Ding Ding.... Yea earth isn't the center of the universe remember accoding to evolutionist. Not to mention our planet is not giving off any amount of radiation in comparison to what would be needed to generate this amount of energy in the univers.

  • He says the universe has to be at least 10 billion years old because we can see light that is 10 billion light years away, this assumes that all light has one point of origination in the beginning and that starting point is Earth.

  • Calling Poe's Law.

  • entertaining :)

  • this guy is funny

  • for your information: light was thought to have a constant speed...recent studies and experiments have shown that light doesnt have a constant speed. it can travel faster and it can travel slower...

  • which means what you may not be able to estimate the age of the universe using the speed of light...?

  • "for your information: light was thought to have a constant speed...recent studies and experiments have shown that light doesnt have a constant speed. it can travel faster and it can travel slower..."

Yes, it travels faster and slower depending on the medium. In vacuum light travels at c.

  • yeah i agree, but you cannot say all of space is a vaccum.

  • Light doesn't travel faster than C, so even if it goes slower because of mediums it just means the universe is older than we think it is, not younger.

  • Wow you really don't understand relivety.

  • Darwin did not, at any time, say evolution was bullshit.

  • Yes he did more or less he was told he would be banashed to hell if he diden't denounce so Darwin did

  • Reality tells a different story. But let's pretend you're right. Even if Darwin did renounce his theory, so what? He had no real scientific reason to do so, so it makes not the slightest dent in the reality of natural selection.

  • 1 year since the beginning of utnow!

  • Wow, headtrauma8000, you really set me straight. I've read about another guy who warned us all about "zionist-rothschild crime syndicate propaganda". Not in those exact words, but along the same lines. Say, you might've even heard of him, he was a big cheese in Germany in the 1930s and 40s. His last name was Schickelgrüber before he had it changed, but he's best known to the world as HITLER.

  • It is scary to see some people out there actually do not believe in evolution. Smart people are VERY good at rationalizing what things they came to believe for non-smart reasons. Those reasons are the interpretation of someones beliefs (a preacher)of a man written book, the bible. Thats it, and if this offends anyone it is because they have been brainwashed for years about god and religion. There is no arguing with them. You can't fix stupid.

  • do you even know what light is and how it works? things do simply not become "visible", light is emitted from their location and then we interpret this data (usually with our eyes)

for "everything" to be visible at the start then that mean what we see that is billion of years away would only be visible for the same period of time god allowed it to be visible...then the light/information would have to be sent again, at a normal speed mind you

  • Lol, it is. But, they bring a good point..We learn things everyday, and perhaps there are things in the bible or quran or things a god couldn't explain to a mind back in that time.

  • god didn't creat the bible, man did, primitive men, who knew very little about the world around them, came up with their ideas of how the world began/will end/what happens after you die, if the bible is directly written from god, why is their such controversy? this all knowing all powerful god should have made this shit less confusing, but he didn, you know why? he's not real, he's ONLY in your mind

  • Yes, but its also possible god created man through evolution. See, when the bible was made, it was made by primitive man. Primitive man didn't know about evolution and other things we have now. So, it could be possible evolution is the answer to how and not why. "How" meaning is how we came to be.

  • Actually the earth is MUCH MUCH older than 4 billion years old. why don't you read more "dontyoudare"

And to the one who made this video. at least people who video blog have more of a life than you..making fun of the ones that video blog.

Obviously god did not give you enough of a brain to tell you that. making fun of people is just a waste of time.

And your making fun of alot of people.

    Thousand years is SO off.

    Kaythanx

  • 'Obviously god did not give you enough of a brain to tell you that. making fun of people is just a waste of time.' Erm, there's a teeny weeny contradiction buried somewere in here "michiev". Luckily, it's hidden by some fortuitously indecipherable grammar and punctuation. 'And your making fun of alot of people.

Thousand years is SO off.' Is there a gibberish-english translator in the house?

  • the earth is roughly 4 billion years old, please read more.

  • 4.5 billion

  • 4.567 billion. Why make a liar of me for a trivial 500,000,000 years? lol:)

  • 4.567 billion. Anyway what's 500,000,000 years between friends? I added that comment a month ago at about 2am after a fair few beers, so cut me a little slack please.

  • This guy is WAY OFF! The earth, universe, plants, people....everything was created in 6 DAYS!! Literal days. Not 6000 years. I believe that God can and did do this. I read once that if you were going to open an atrium you wouldn't open it with just a bunch of seeds in the ground and no plants to look at. NO. You would plant grown plants, with age, for people to see. All of creation is the same. God created everything with age and distance.

  • *sigh*

This video is old news that evolutionists/old earth theorists still use even though it has already been refuted bu the Bible.

The question is not how long it takes for the light to get from the distance star to here, it's how did the distant star get from here to there.

The Bible tells us that God stretched the heavens. There are 3 heavens described in Genesis - the sky, space and Heaven.

    Explained.

    Thankyou and goodnight.

  • is your shirt inside out?

  • religions use science to prove many things for their cause. but what gets me is after scientificly proven medicines that can cure sicknesses help u and ur family and all the technology around ur house enables u go get through the day...u deny science of the one thing that proves the beliefs that get u through ur boreing pointless lives

  • whats interesting is that God is eternal. and time is different to him (i think). and somewhere (i'm not sure, i admit) it says that a day is like a thousand years to God. and so, taking into account your proof, maybe, God didn't create the world in only seven days. maybe a "day" represents a stage. humans were created on the sixth day. maybe that "stage" was only 6-7000 years ago. and maybe we're currently living in the seventh day or stage. does that make sense? maybe?

  • no it doesn't. how would we know about this god? how would we know a day is like a thousand years? how would we know god is eternal?

Did he tell us? no! did someone make it up? probably!

  • Here's a question for you. If dinosaurs are approx. 60 million years old and we have found over 1,000 so far (not sure of exact amount) why haven't we found the remains of the 1,000's of species that would have had to exist between ape and man? All they have found are 2 ape girls in the last 30 years that they claim are early version of man. If that ain't faith in a religious belief, I don't know what is.

  • As a former fundamentalist Christian myself, I enjoyed this video! You're right that one argument of the sort you give is not going to change a fundamentalist's mind, but a gradually increasing pile of evidence they can't explain is eventually going to bother most of them, provided they choose to _use_ the three pounds of grey matter they have inside their skull.

  • "what the hell is this?" asks scott-o.

    "it's cute." says ashley.

  • Astonomers don't measure d with a piece of string (Euclidean). They use light/radiation. Regardless of how radiation gets here (Riemman?), that will be how far the object is said to be. You're trying all objects are within 16ly from us. Don't think you'll defend that easily vs an astrophysicist.

@utnow: charismatic. Not even 10k hits -> maybe underrated, too.

  • Why do you think that christians think that the world is only 6000 years old????

By the way I know that this is really late but I just found this video so yeah...

  • 4. I need to get this off my back. People don't believe in God due to the lack of proof. God will not mess with free will. If he forced you to believe in him and left evidance of his existance than it would be kind of like rape.

    5. Finally, with all I just said I really don't need any of this proof. I have faith in the Lord and being a Christian keeps my head up as I progress in life. Amen!

  • 3. As you know from our Christian beliefs God created the heavens and the universe. It took him 7 days before he rested. This could have been millions of years in the making as God slowly created the universe with his divine wisdom. They're not going to go into detail and right that many pages in the bible. But in his mind it took 7 days.

  • 1. Right on Rue89!

    2. There's 2 diff. kind of scientists. Ones who assume and ones who have proof. These scientists that you mention are the same scientists that assume that there is life millions of lightyears away and also believe in the theory of evolution. Notice that it is a theory. What really gets me mad is that these same people whom assume these aspects need proof of God's existance. BTW, the second type of scientist actually support the bible. Well, mostly.

  • C YOU AT HARVEST CRUSADE

  • I don't know how old the earth is I don't beleive any of the theories but I also don;t care... But one sure way to build up popularity is to say something controversial like having a dig at certain groups of christians that beleive random things even though the bible doesn't really say it but they think if thats true it's agaisnt the bible... Alot of cathalics got very angry when I guy made a rainbow by spraying water into the air; it's this type of denying of facts that bugs the crap out of me.

  • Yes, good job, fundamentalist Christians who use the Bible to judge solid scientific evidence annoy me. Studying the red shift in stars, Scientists have been able to prove that the entire universe is expanding from a point infinitely small, which proves a big bang happened. This event contains the hallmarks of a supernatural creation of the universe.

  • I wouldn't go so far as to say it 'proves' it but it's certainly good evidence... and i get your point regardless ;)

  • The only problem I have would be scientists making claims of how old things are that they don't know for sure and then claiming it is fact. We can't even get to Mars, yet I'm supposed to believe scientists can tell me something is 10 billion light years away? I'm not a religious person. I think a lot of magical things happened on this earth 8,000 - 10,000 years ago that we cannot comprehend.

  • Yes another posiblity is that whatever created us all and send our many galaxys in motion effected various particles of matter in different ways, in other words some matter took a larger physical blow and was sent flying farther, faster

  • yeah... only no.

  • Furthermore it could just be going in another direction then us at a given speed and still come to that result because of the huge delay that we see other galaxys it could be very far away but we cant see that movement yet.(So we can say that it is moving at the high rate that would still seperate us whilest starting our movement at the same time.)

  • Oiy! Just because somthing is so far away it that its would take atleast 10 billion light years to reach doesnt meen its existed for 10 billion years. It could also have been moving faster then us significantly then come into contact with somthing which slowed it, or we came into contact with somthing which made us faster.

  • How on earth do you slow down a star? Just wondering. I also wonder what the hell would speed us up.

  • those scientific theories are bullshit! scientists and christians are both wrong. the earth has only been around for about 6000 years. dinosours have only died out about 170 years ago. there are photographs of american soldiers with dead teridactals that they shot. these photos were taken durig the american civil war. so scientists ar wrong. and as for christianity. most chistian religeons were made by freemasons and other secret societies.

  • oooh kay. ;)

  • I particularly like the way Criationists have to PROVE the others are wrong. Irony at its best 

  • Let me just add that this isn't even a question in Europe, at least not in this "biblical" proportions

  • you're pretty.

  • you are god.

  • you got that. but u still believe god wrote the bible?

  • is it really a good thing your not naked? hmmmmm....lol

  • all i need 2 say is fucking great haha

  • You need to see Bill Hicks creationalism skit. He says (speaking to fundamentalist christians as a whole) "Well, what about dinasour fossils?" (and replies for the christians) "Well, God put those their to test our faith man." Classic. Glad you pointed out one of the more obvious biblical flaws. As an atheist I spend a great deal of time studying the contradictions and flaws of christianity and the bible. I found there's more proof to prove otherwise.

  • so the big bang is just the universe being born sorta speak??? I told my nephew to prove it...lol

  • actually I had an interesting convo. with my nephew at a wedding we were at. and I told him my concept of the universe which he laughed and thought quite unique. I firmly believe that we are inside something thats inside something... imagine that it were possible to look at the universe under an electron microscope...or if we were outside the universe looking at it from an electron microscope...wouldn't we be looking at protons and neutrons?

  • lol. yeah. I've always had the impression that the universe was a spark that was thrown off by two peices of flint that are just too large to imagine. What's interesting to me is that most of matter is empty space. And every time we look closer it's more and more empty space. I think the universe is one big differential equation. Matter is an approximation of emptiness.

  • lol...I'm hoping this guy responds to my email. thanks for the enlightening.

  • I'm not certain if this guy will pull your pants down or share in your beliefs... I just want to see the enlightend effects... I enjoy your vlogs.

  • haha. I'm sure it'll be a combination of the two. ;) I have no doubt that what I'm saying is... close... but not quite. But I think that the end result will be the same (that the universe is too large for it to be 6k years old). We'll see. ;)

  • ok ut... I've submitted an email to a leading scientific authority at the Vatican Observatory at Castal Gandolfo,Italy the worlds oldest astronomical research institution in the world. lol... This guy also happens to be a jesuit priest and astrophysicist.

I sent him your vlog hoping that he can enlighten all of us on all of this. ...lol.. I happened upon this site while looking up my nephew's site who also is doin his post doctoral on astrophysics.

  • Stop arguing with monkeys.

  • lol. like you? ;) (not really an insult since we're all monkeys deep down. haha)

  • I love your videos! I think you're great. I'm a Christian, and I totally think that you're right about what you say. I do have a question, ok, you say that the furtherest thing we can see is 10 billion light years away...and Christian views say it is 6000 yrs old...my question is, the furtherest thing we can see is 10billion light years away because the earth is 10billion years old or the universe is 10billion years old?

  • Basically the rule is that for the light to have traveled 10billion lightyears, the object must have generated the light at least that long ago. So the earth could have come into existance much more recently (as science shows happened in the last 4.6 billion years or so. ) We just happened to spring up in the path of the light. ;)

  • Ah, ok :) Thanks

  • So are we having sex? You didn't answer my question bitch.

  • Good job sweetie! You win! You just proved that God exists and that the universe was created in a week. I'm so proud of you! Please oh PLEASE have sex with me!!

  • Please have sex with me.

  • And yet my small amount is enough to see the glaring inadequacy of your entire basis of life. You'd think with your huge brains and incredible congnitive capacity you'd be able to do better than copy/pasting factoids from creationist-agenda pseudo-science websites. Tell ya what. Since your oppinion is the one based on nothing, explain to me why we have a fossil record that supports evolution, and why we can see things further away than 6000 lightyears. I await your intelligent "proof".

  • not to scale huh? haha. nice copy/pasting from a radical christian pseudo-science page. http://www.answersingenesis.org/Home/Area/AnswersBook/flood12.asp#19

  • 1. You're claiming that there were no mountains until after the flood.

    2. You're claiming that somehow Mt. Ararat sprang up in about 80 days since it was under water and then... not under it anymore.

    3. Your lack of education in the hebrew language is none of my concern. I encourage you to find the original word in it's original alphabet, and translate it personally.

    5. I feel like I'm arguing with a child over the existance of Santa Claus.

  • So yes... you could literally believe in the 24hr definition and be thought of as an idiot for believing something so incredible foolish.

Or you could literally believe the 'age' or 'time period' definiton and have a faith that doesn't bold-face contradict the rest of the creation that you as a christian believe is God's work.

So which is it. Do you believe in something true, or something false?

Also... so far as natural processes go.. how do you explain God acting through the flood?

  • The Literal Bible: "yôma" in the original Hebrew.

The Literal English Translation: Day, Time, Year, Day (as opposed to night), day (24-hour period), days (as in a lifetime), time period (general).

  • My qualifications are simple. I have eyes to see things on my own. And I have ears to hear things for myself. And I have enough sense to know that the God that you are defending wouldn't give any straight forward way for you to prove his existance, thus negating your need for faith. God acts through natural processes. A spontaneous 6,000 year old earth would make faith unnessicary.

  • This is a myth created by those who need it to be true. The accuracy of measuring equipment has improved in the years since we've been measuring the speed of light. Thus accounting for the tiny and asymptotic speed increase that we've seen over the years.

  • lol. you're so cute when you get excited. So what's your position again? Because if I'm not mistaken you're saying that everything that does or ever did exist, was created ~6,000 years ago. yes?

  • I'm so glad you chose a respected scientific source without any kind of agenda. comon. lol. CreationOnTheWeb.com? gimme a break. You're citing a creation website and expect anyone to take it seriously? That's like citing a bigfoot website.

  • Carbon-14 has been established as accurate up to 58,000-62,000 years. Other dating techniques are used for longer periods of time. U-U dating for example is conscidered accurate between 10,000 and 2 million years. Because of the overlap between the two methods, samples can be dated by both methods between 10,000 and 60,000 years. Thus providing references by which to compare accuracy of the independent mesurements.

  • A single failed dating attempt only exposes weaknesses in the method. Unlike religion, you don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. Despite several (a relatively small sample) miss-dates, you can't ignore the many many correct dates that have been verified by alternate dating methods. Honestly. Where did you learn your science basics?

  • http://www.sonic.net/bristlecone/dendro.html enjoy

  • i like the mix of trashy youtube politics and ripping creationism apart. two of my favourite things in the world!

  • Furthermore, samples of long-dead bristle-cone pines have been dated to more than 9,000 years old.

  • Carbon dating, as well as the dating of other isotopes, puts the earth much older than 6,000 years.

    Care to continue?

  • I'm not really here to discuss the perfectness of science, but the imperfectness of fundamentalism. I know just enough to know it's BS. ;) Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that mess.

Cosmology may be ideas, but layers of earth in the ground, like rings of a tree, are pretty concrete (i made a funny). There are more than 6,000 years in our history.

But yes. We should agree on Google. Brothers of the cult of the "I'm feeling lucky" button rejoice!

  • I don't like you.

  • I don't like you.

  • lol...Are you deliberatly trying to be ironic by creating your own "beef" as you put it?

Err...Did you fail physics101 by any chance?

  • Nah, just trying to stir up the morons.

Did per per-chance fail junior high english by any chance? I guess we'll just have to agree that neither of us is perfect, but we both bring good ideas to the table, regardless of the tainted packaging. ;)

  • Ah, good point. Thanks.

  • Hahaha, this is basically the coolest video I've seen besides Hank the Talking Tree. I love your vids.

Also, didn't Einstein provide us with the Theory of Relativity that states that gravity warps light, space, and time? I'm all in support of your idea, I'm just curious to what you say to this.

Also, sorry if the whole Theory of Relativity thing was already brought up, but I'm not reading through 250-something messages.

  • lol. quite alright. i think it was mentioned a few times, but not in any well thought out way. Basically, gravity's effect is nill in this case. As light approaches a large mass, the grav will pull on the light increasing it's speed. But as it goes on by it would slow it down by the same amount (approx) because of it's pull as it travels away from the mass. Does it affect the exact time of arival? yes I'm sure it does. Does not affect it enough to change the result significantly?

  • you're grand!

    i loved this video

and i like the way you think.

thank you for bringing some sense to youtube!

  • teehee your funny i liked the frog part but you gotta have a better atitude people are touchy okay

  • ;o) I don't mind people being touchy. I just expect them to know what they're talking about. I don't think that's too much to ask for.

  • I dig your argument, but not your attitude, son.

  • you have far to much free time :D... and admiting that you have no friends is not something you want to do :D

  • in evolution, there won't be any meaning to life, we are all just a little part of the birth and death cycle. None of the things we do would have any ultimate meaning, since death is the end.

If God created all stuffs, including our lifes, then we would indeed have an ultimate meaning to life.

  • "I could still find meaning in playing my guitar, or raising a family, or marrying an amazing woman, etc."

yes, there is a short term meaning for do these kind of stuffs. But, what is the ultimate meaning for life? What is the meaning for all these after we die? Got to look at the big picture.

  • bingo. i started by stating my goals, and finished by actually setting out to accomplish them ;) and BINGO there I am at the #4 most discussed spot. ;)

  • Thanks, this is my type of humour.

  • "any evidence as to the possibility of evolution being zero?"

Yeah, a mad simple one. If evolution is true, you can pretty much go drop dead right now, cause life won't have a meaning anymore (really, what's the meaning of life when everyone gonna die one day?) There are 6 billions of people out there, so your death won't mean anything either. You are just a worthless being in this random cycle, birth and death, again and again.

Trust me, evolution is a very dangerous belief.

  • god is a crutch for infants who cant handle the harshness of life.life sucks people...and there isnt any cool party afterwards.it sucks and you die and its nasty and gross.either get a helmet or believe in the tooth fairy or whatever...but shut the fuck up and keep it to yourself.

  • LOL there is no god ^_^

  • so an infinite point of singularity is retarded but it's not retarded to think that an all knowing all thinking power created everything that is or ever will be in a puff of creation?

  • can you cite any evidence as to the possibility of evolution being zero? can you cite any evidence as to why carbon dating is faulty. can you cite any evidence stating that the big-bang is bunk? or did you do what I think you did and just pull that out of your ass?

  • No. your pot doesn't question why you created it that way. But the pot's creation is reflected in it's design. You can analyze the pot (carbon dating perhaps?) and see pretty precisely the age of the pot. We have no clues as to how God created man (be it evolution, or as a fullgrown man, or as a fetus) from the bible. God's creation however is telling us that he did it through evolution. So listen to what God is telling you.

  • nornna's tears cure cancer...too bad she has never cried.

  • Stop being defensive. I love talking to people about why they believe what they do. I'm not going to insult you further, that was a premature splurge (I get emotional on this topic)

  • thats pretty funny. Hey i wanna congradulate you Utnow in finding a way to be popular and reaching your goal :D GRats ^^, when is your next video's for..

  • haha! thanks! There's something to this formula... I think I'm gonna try to be more annoying in the next one and see how that works. ;)

  • I don't know about you, but I like to consider myself open-minded... if you don't want to open a dialogue, though, that's up to you.

  • I Just don't get why there is 2 response videos that are'nt a response to this video?!?!? Watch the vulkanom video people.

  • I did. I like it.

  • "proofed" rawful

  • To all want all sorts of proofs from faith:

Well, if faith can be proofed, it ain't called "faith" any more, right? Just like you won't say "I believe there is sun", because it's out there already. Believe is trust in something you can't see or reach within your five senses. If you can see it already, you don't need faith.

  • Wow, way to use a lame VHS-tape analogy to comment on the most complex thing humans can comprehend.

  • The problem is, I could not post more than 500 characters. I had a couple paragraphs going. If you want to start a productive dialogue, my email address is romi.strub@gmail.com.

  • What?

  • Did you know hell was created later to scare people into believing. The original concept was nonbelievers went into nothingness, but that wasn't scary enough so they created hell.

  • Its coldplays opinion nonbelievers go to hell it is what he was brainwashed to believe. Yet he has no proof. Gospel of Judas anyone? Religion is a bad arguement because believers have faith no proof. Most of thier arguements are wishfulthinking falacies.

  • yes he sure knows how 2 show his love doesn't he.........first he banishes them from a garden, then he completely wipes them out in a flood, then he kills his own son and every time any innocent person dies right here where we r he controls it. killing babies, letting ppl burn 2 death in buildings, die slowly of horrific pain.

man this god guy sure knows how 2 show mercy and love and yet u believe in him and worship him.

  • My thyry is...ok...i hold in my hand a vhs tape...let's say the magnetic tape inside is the timeline of the universe...ok...now lets say..we push play and it starts at 10, 8, 6 minutes before the end of the tape, but there is way more tape before that, lets say that the play button is the moment God created everything. just becuase there was tape before that, doesn't mean he didn't plan it that way.

  • ahmm wth i wasnt being ignorance i was tryin to state an opinion

  • sadly the truth isn't democratic... so you can have your oppinion, and we can vote and decide and whatnot, but it doesn't change reality. <3 don't hate

  • yeah i know it doesnt... but what is reality? i guess im just too young to analyse everything but i know alot of stuff about god.

  • BTdubs, the people who flat out insult you just have no intelligent counter argument. Woo for being number 200.

  • I liked this. Anything that disproves the fundamentalists is alright with me. You're funny.

  • Man, at least the "higher power" I believe in made me smarter than all you chumps.

  • i can't get over how small and fat your hands are.

  • i was gonna say something about how "i thought the same thing about your dick"... but that would be lame. <3 heart!

  • in other words, world and life is just so confusing who knows wahat? but GOD is my life and my world, and thats for a fact

  • I feel pretty certain the G-O-D doesn't intend for you to be stupid your whole life. He intends for you to use your God-given talents to the fullest extent possible. If you choose ignorance you may as well put those talents under a bushell.

  • Next idea: Buddhism. No God, only an endless cycle of Universes, lives, cause and effect, karma, and impermanence. Being asleep in that cycle and unaware of it. Only way out is to "wake up" out of it by following the path to enlightenment. Now THAT'S a religion I can sink my teeth into.
