  • This Marine isnt lowering his head because this Marine is tired..He is hiding his true emotion,,,jackasses.he hidding tears useless scumbags..its called paying with respect..yea Marines do cry

  • And as far as "getting out" what military are you in that you can just do that??? Without totally fucking up and ruining YOUR good name? That doesn't just happen. It's ridiculous how it's operated and people stating "you knew how it was, deal with it" are the reason it will never change. Part of the problem, sir...

  • Ohhhhh, so it's not an argument of " is it hard and tough on families and a sea of broken promises to get you in" it's a "deal with it" situation. Gotchya! Yes, I'm bitter, they lie to get you and treat you like crap once you're in! That IS bad, is that still not registering? Or are you ok with that?

  • Regardless, I'll say it over and over, being the daughter of a navy vet and the wife of a marine vet, the military is not what it once was and makes promises to recruits that will never be kept. It's all about power and politics and generally speaking military families are on the short end of that stick. Life sucked for our family. I never saw my dad and when I did he was never happy. Constantly overlooked for rank and underpaid. Ruined my parents marriage. I love soldiers, just wish our milita

  • Working in a shop, though, where your superior is never there I believe is the exception. This lieutenant was gone for 6 months. When he came back he got honored for something he had no part in. The marines that found HIS fuck up got nothing. Add that to this prick being 19 and an officer straight out of school and you get a big ass load of bullshit! Lol

  • not to mention it looks a lil warm and those uniforms arent exactly light and cool....and 123wazzzza, mostly I agree but you dont understand about command & accountability. The superior officer is accountable for EVERYTHING, good & BAD. We as enlisted may do the bulk of the grunt work but we do it under his supervision and training. If he sux then we, more than likely, will suck. If hes outstanding as a leader, then we, will stand out.Not a perfect system, its what we have,4 most part it works

  • Respect soldiers? Yes completely! Respect the military and our government? No not at all! Our government abuses our soldiers, gives your superior officer an award for your achievements because it's "his" shop, keeps the single guy in the states and sends the married man overseas! They dump the vets on their asses like trash after the valiantly serve. Fuck the military!!! God bless American soldiers!!!

  • @123wazzzza And how is that different from the private sector? There are screw ups and dishonorable people in every walk of life. Sounds like you are bitter about your specific experience and came here to vent. All those who signed up to serve in the military, knew (or should have known) what they were in for. Don't complain after the fact that things are too tough, especially in the MC. Can't handle it, then get out.

  • I know how it feels when you have to salute for a long time same with dress right

    ;~;

  • Tired? If anyone thinks that would make a US Marine tired they've never heard of basic training. Rolling Thunder was there so show support & pay respect. There was atleast one that I know of who stopped & saluted back, marking him as an ex Marine. He was not tired, but moved to tears at the pure, heart felt love of fellow Americans!!

  • Marine is not tired... marine is thankful

  • He wasnt tired his soul was shaking in motivation of such love and support by the people. ^.^

  • how stupid you are, anybody who stands up for freedom and honour...is worthy of praise and humilty or are you so far up your arse you dont understand that..respect is a good thing.

  • I thank everyone elsek who gives respect to this marine not like

  • He was showing them bikers respect if i remember right that was the rolling thunder

  • He was showing them bikers respect

  • Is there any fucking point why he had to salute? ffs.

  • When you're outside in uniform you salute the american flag whether you're walking by it or it goes by you

  • @duncan7599 you do know that marines like him, army men, naval men, and airmen are the people who are keeping your disrespectful fat ass safe at home, right? I bet you're one of those quick-to-wrongfully-judge hipsters, aren't you? I hope you like the temperature in Satans asshole, because that's straight where you're going.

  • @duncan7599 You're such a fucking BITCH you have no honor and respect for those who fallen in the past and now in present, our military are not murdering scumbacks, they're still regular people with friends and families who love them very much and they joined the military so that they can serve this country, and yet some bitches dont have respect for them "FUCK ALL HATERZ" shame on you, you're a disgrace and get out of here cuz nobody appreciates your kind. If i saw you i would've thrown a big

  • talk shit about them but let see if u go out and get shot at

  • I would of threw a bucket of toilet water at him if I drove by.

  • @duncan7599 Why would you do that?

  • @Huntinking8 Don't you understand that it is an act of honor to show respect for all one's brothers and sisters serving in harms way and those who have fallen. I should be there next to him in my wheelchair!

  • @SushiOtterGirl Yes ma'am I do understand that, my comment stating "why would you do that" was at duncan7599 sho said "Iwould throw a bucket of toilet water at him if I drove by". People have no respect for our members of the Armed Forces anymore. I know this from expirience as I am currently in Active Duty for the United States Marine Corps. I'm only an E-2 PFC but I still know honor, courage, and commitment.

  • @Huntinking8 Thats right we no longer respect military murdering scum like you any more. You serve know one except rich old men and their wealthy defense contractors. Your just a pawn to them, used for their foreign policy games and lies.

  • @duncan7599 Really, and I would have kicked your ass right to the front lines! Go live in Afghanistan or Irag! We don't need your kind here in our great America.

  • @SushiOtterGirl You can't even spell LOL. Yes you do represent what's left of America. All guns and violence and no brains.

  • @duncan7599 fuck you.

  • AMEN I'M AMERICAN

  • The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps! -Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945

    THE INCREDIBLY FABULOUS JOHNNY G."

--UNITED STATES COAST GUARD, RETIRED --DISABLED AMERICAN VETERAN -- PATRIOT GUARD RIDER -- WE RIDE WITH RESPECT --

  • God bless SSgt Tim Chambers for his dedication to our country and the tribute he pays to our Veterans and the respect he gives to Rolling Thunder. May we all take the time to thank God for men and women who put themselves in harm's way for the needs of the many above their own needs and wants. - Army Mom

  • What's up with all the hateful comments? Are you people just jealous that you don't have the balls to put on the uniform and dedicate yourself to such a task? Come with us to the front lines. Let's see how long you can withstand getting shot at. This was a cake walk for a Marine. Ooorah.

  • @grasseater24 Give me a valid and just war to fight for and I would be in the frontlines..probably saving your ass whilst your crying for your mom. As far as Iraq and afghanistan goes..I'm not stupid enough to get conned into fighting thoses wars.

  • 4 hours? That's amazing!

  • lol wat a douche

  • why havent more marines decided to do the same thing with him by now?

  • This Marine is not only tired, but he is saluting with a broken wrist. He had it casted the next day. That's hard core.

  • Too bad the only thing you see is a tired Marine !! I see a hero, a dedicated Marine, a proud Marine, an unyielding Marine, a Couragous Marine !! HoooRaaah

  • @Runester100 you said it wrong its oorah im in mcjrotc we learn about all this

  • the marine's right wrist was broken and not in a cast........ but he still finished the mission

  • I'm an NJROTC cadet, and I really do recognize the will it took to stand at attention, saluting, for four straight hours. The only thing I could possibly compare is 45 minutes of saluting an honor guard for a fallen Marine.

The best, as always, to our warriors and their families.

  • I have so much respect for that Marine. He acted out of a call from his conscience and I'm sure his salute was appreciated by the many riders that went by him.

  • i want to join him when i can after i become a marine, because i would want to pay respect to fellow service men and women

  • I went this year and the same marine was there, he did it for 3 1\2 hours, people was helping him hold his hand there for a couple minutes and also to make sure he had something to drink! It was very emotional and something awesome to experience!

  • doing that for 10 mins sucks ass. Id hate doing it for that long. Id be ready to shoot myself!

  • respect i bet none of u can do that for 5 min and i bet he was there for like 20-25 min semper fi

  • @klk15914 Try 4+ hours lol

  • This young Marine may have deep sixed his career doing this. Since Obama has been President he has caught grief from superiors for doing this. Imagine that. I think he is a fine example of the best of America and as a brother Marine I think his superiors can kiss my ass for having the gall to say a word to this proud warrior

  • for everybody watching, rolling thunder is a 4 hour parade. 4 hours of standing at attention. that is the heart of a warrior. Semper Fi Marine.

  • marine corps! semper fi oorah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Once a Marine always a marine. I dont care in your in a casket, out of uniformor anything. I will respect any service member because not just the USMC, were all a brotherhood.

    Semper Fi 2011-2015

  • Where was this at?

  • i don't believe that he was "tired" by any means...if you watch the full video, you will see that he is merely trying to keep his bearing. Semper Fi Devil Dog

  • @tlutes5 Exactly, the emotions, the heat, all of it. There's none stronger than the Marines.

  • thats a lot of exhaust he's breathing, if it wasn't a marine they would of passed out after 2 minuets

  • that sucks hes breathing in alot of motorcycle exhaust at least its a just cause

  • That has to be the shittiest working party of all time. At least its for a good cause.

  • I challenge anyone that complains about him being tired to post a video response of yourself standing at attention & Salute for 15 minutes. See how hard it is to do so... He did it for 4Hours!

The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps! -Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945

  • @SMOKEindustries

i think he does it every year and its more like 4 hours instead of 15 minutes ,but iam not sure, either way i have the greatest respect for him and his fellow Marines

  • @SMOKEindustries Hey brother, im part of a JROTC unit here in New Mexico, iva stood at attention for 30 minutes with no broken baring and was getting inspected :)

  • omg!! thats my ssgt!! ssgt chambers!! oorrraahhh!!!

  • @MyIsamar

he is a great men ,full of honor and respect ,you clearly can see that and i dont know him at all nor was i in the military ,but i salute him ,you can be proud to know him

  • @Hoschi0913 i am very proud of him... he truely loves the Marine Corps and all it standds for

  • what's with the title of the video?

  • @KappaEffect just search the username here: "HDcanvas@youtube.com" or see the videos here:

The other videos were as follows: "Rolling Thunder 2010 - A Marine's Vigil" & "Rolling Thunder 2010 - A Marine's Vigil (Long Version)"

  • And as a message to all members serving in all branches or have served, We have not forgotten you all. This goes out to all members of the military, both active, and from past wars. I thank you my fellow brothers & sisters in arms;

This goes out to & for ...

    The Marines: Semper Fi

    Army: Hoo-aah!

    Navy: Sail far!

    Air Force: Soar Higher!

Peace be with all of you, even in the rough times, and God be with our fallen... Remember you Always. We have NOT FORGOTTEN ANY OF YOU! R.I.P to all ourFallen.

  • See the other videos from "HDcanvas@youtube.com" To know what I am talking about... about what it really means to every Marine,as to why they chose to serve. Staff Sgt. Tim Chambers had a press conference held after,as to why he did what he did, with walking in the middle of the street,& popping up his salute. Honoring those who have fallen, and given those vets their deserved respect. He chose to do this, because he wanted them to be heard, that they have not been forgotten. Semper Fi Marines

  • @dragonmasterbiz2009

Motivator, thank you for your kind words but what is more exciting about Little Rock Arkansas is I journeyed across the country that was taken before Rolling Thunder 3 years ago, I have done this 8 and what I have done twice is from California to D.C. is conducted name readings through every state along the I40 and broke bread with the families consoling them. We read all the names of the fallen from each state , then at the wwii memorial read all names it was very emtnal

  • @SSGTCHAMBERS Well I still thank you for being out there, it really does show what the Marines are really about deep down inside all of us "devil dogs-Marines"(CoreValues) And shows true character, & HONOR to not just our past vets, yet other recruits of people who want to sign up to become one of the few, & the proud. Thats why there Marines, cause you have to earn the title of being a Marine. Thats where your whole life changes from there on! Stay Safe & Semper Fi Staff Sgt. Chambers HOORAH!!!

  • He stood there for nearly 4 hours, with an estimated 400,000 vets on motorcycles go past him, I would be tired too, standing at attention like this for that long, but if you see his dedication, I agree with Nevin81 the salute is definately a sign of respect & honor. This is the truest honorable dedication to the core, and our fallen heroes from the past wars. If you have never been a Marine, you really do not know what the true creed of being a Marine is all about. See the other videos...

  • Semper Fi

  • @ohgeewiz he didnt fall asleep dumbass. you try standing in attention for four hours holding a salute!

  • he'd make a good statue

  • Comment removed

  • Semper Fucking Fi!

OORAH Marines, Never forget what you represent

  • Army reservist giving respect to the marines. We have our playful competition going on but the Marines truly are the symbol of Americans dedicated to preserving freedom.

  • I'm an Airman, and of all the branches, I find the Marines to be the badest of the bunch. Granted, you guys are dumb for wanting to go in first haha jk. But that's why I have much respect for you all. Thanks for kickin ass

  • people doesn t seem very interested by him they are only looking at the beautiful bikes

  • first of all the tittle is completly wrong. he isnt tired, he is emotional you try saluting at attention to a long period of time while in grief!. ORAHH MARINE

  • Notice the white trousers.

He's obviously in DC and is stationed at 8th & I.

That's an assignment not every Marine gets but one that MOST Marines want.

He didn't get there by accident!

  • @MultiBaldEagle White trousers are the official summer attire for SNCO's. Many SNCO's wear the blue trousers because they don't own white or don't know the custom. On a side note, I was lucky enough to meet SSgt Chambers at 29 Palms when he spoke to my Cpl's Course in '04. He is one of the most motivated Marines you'll ever meet.

  • @Gohan180sx ...LOL...I am aware of this. Just that most of the guys in white are from 8th & I.

One of my proudest moments was making E-4 and earning the blood stripes on my blues.

A pleasure to make your acquaintance as well.

    Semper Fi

  • @SSGTCHAMBERS As a former Marine, I'd like to THANK YOU for doing this year after year. Semper Fi.

  • @LolaRunsAustin ......Former Marine?????????

    Please clarify......were you dishonorably discharged???

    Once a Marine....always a Marine.

    SGT - USMC

    1979 - 1986

  • @MultiBaldEagle LOL! No, I was honorably discharged and will always consider myself a Marine. Just don't call me a BAM BAM. Looks like we got out same year (86).

  • @LolaRunsAustin ...My pleasure, Mam! Thank you for your service and always glad to make the acquaintance of a fellow Marine!

  • I feel ur pain ssgt, props for keeping your bearing.

  • cant blame him for moving just a little. Marines are only human and do get tired and muscles start to give out. Can only imagine how much of a honor it was for him to salute those veterans, or he wouldn't have done it.

  • nice vid, bet ssgt dont jerk off the night before.......lol

  • @K1LLB1LLY its okay motivator I am left handed :)

  • he salutes for 4 hours?!?!?! that's a shitload of motorcycles and his arms must be hella impressive..semper fi to all

  • Of course he's tired. He's Staff Sergeant Tim Chambers and he's been doing it every year, since 2002. He stands at attention and salutes for FOUR HOURS.

  • The title of this video is "Marine is Tired"...of course he gets tired...From the speech he gave in regards to why he's done this, I cant tell if he held that salute for 2 hours or 6. Either way, that's a long time to salute. After the first hour, the muscles start cramping, your arms start burning...That man is an outstanding representation of the spirit of our beloved Corps. Oohrah staff sergeant.

  • JarheadMarine, are you even a real Marine or are you some bitch wannabe? Your disrespect for fellow service members, and other affilliates along with your attitude either shows a bitter bitch who thinks the world owes him, or your bitter because your a shit bird who fucked up through out your service or even more, YOU ARENT A MARINE! act like one if you are you shit bird peice of shit!

  • Ive seen a closer up video of this exact same Marine at the Exact same event, he isnt tired he is in tears. He was saluting those who have fallen and honoring the veterans who served before him. 'Rah Sergeant! PFC Needham USMC

  • Maybe tired but he didn't quit for 6 1/2 hours. Of course the reason is simple, QUIT is not in the Marine Corps Dictionary.

  • That's a fine salute, and he's not alone.

  • Terrible title. Should have been named Proud Marine Salutes or something,

  • Most powerful thing my father saw is one man stopped his bike and went up to the soldier and saluted him for a good 5min

  • Tim you are a true American hero...good bless you and the USA...from a loyal friend of the USA in England

  • a lot of people don't realize how hard it is to hold your hand up in a salute for longer than 2 minutes. they used to fuck with us in bootcamp and just have us hold a salute for 20-30 minutes at a time. try it. then come watch this video and talk shit.

  • That! was amazing.

  • @NecroHealth Youre right that was amazing!!!! Marines number one!!!

  • @HDNKR Tim you are a true American hero...good bless you and the USA...from a loyal friend of the USA in England

  • @oscohen Oh for fucks sake...is there anyone left in America who hasnt been called a 'hero' yet?

  • YEAH DEVILDOG !!!

I'll put up Old Glory Battle Colors right next to you !!!

  • II dont grt how he was tired

  • Thanks Sarge.. it's nice knowing you are standing watch!

  • I was tired....burned

  • ooh rah

  • God Bless this soldier! What a man. Semper Fi

  • @ashlerfarm I'm sure you meant "God bless this MARINE!" lol

  • It says a lot about a man( woman) who answers the call of duty ( regardless of others opinion), but for someone to stand for hours on end, in full dress blues, in the summer heat, honoring his fellow service members, takes it to a whole new level. Much respect, not only for this MARINE, but to ALL who have served, is currently serving, or wants to serve, THANK YOU!!!!! GOOD LUCK and GOD's (or to whom ever you worship) speed.

  • SSgt. Tim Chamber...You are more of a man than some know or realize...Reguardless of some who think you did this for a medal they need to watch the video "Tim Chambers" answers questions.....SIR I SALUTE YOU....for standing there for nearly 4 hours "on your own"....no other military person stood by you...GOD BLESS YOU SIR....

  • That Marine can salute whoever he wishes to salute. Read the regs...

  • Fuckin hardcore. Semper Fi

  • I appeciate the comments on my behalf, but let me get one thing straight I did not recieve a Navy Commendation Medal for this moral duty I accepted of my own free will while on leave to take a stand and welcome home the Warriors of the past, Honor the Families, and the concerned citizens. I have taken a weapon boots and kevlar across country and did name readings honoring those that sacrificed their all in every state along the I40. It reflects all that served and their compassion for others

  • @chambersta you are the definition of a hero and this is truly symbolic of the honor, courage, and commitment the corps is based on. I first saw the tribute video put together and circulated through e-mail and I must admit it made me tear up. thank you for what you do, and just know you have a whole nation behind you cheering you on

    semper fi

  • Two words: TRUE RESPECT! Nevin81 is correct. It's a sign of respect, courteous, & acknowledgement! But one thing i noticed right off the bat in this video; this Marine is the only person in the crowd giving due respect to those who deserve it. Semper Fi Nevin81.

  • Gets my dick hard! Semper Fi!

  • @M8M4 sweet man... btw anyone that doubts his resolve try to salute at attention in that kind of heat for five in dress

  • @M8M4 lol hell yea

  • lol...not sure if you guys realize this Marine recieved a Navy Commendation Medal for saluting for many, many hours. He was also featured on a Marine Corps Magazine... SSgt Chambers is this Marines name. He served as the Funeral Detail SNCO in 29 Palms CA where he did countless funerals. Im not a big fan of him but I got respect for him. Just to set the record straight. Look him up if youd like...

  • I to, as a Marine see nothing wrong with this, if you all didnt notice, there were American flags being flown in that parade, and I agree with Nevin81 on this, those Vets do deser

  • Marine tired? Never happened in U.S history

  • @supertroll201 LMAO just low on fuel is all...never tired though lol

  • dont lock your knees Devil Dog

  • Lol, funny when the new cadets in my JROTC unit look like they're having a seizure for keeping they're legs locked.

  • Should change the name of this video to

    "Respect gets Respect"

    The Warriors Code

  • Excellence In Motion

    Thank You Devil Dog

  • That Marine must be thinking..."Damn.. these unsat fat mother fuckers just keep coming."

  • When I was in the Army there was a base policy not to run PT in the cemetary. We had a battalion run one morning and the BN CDR ran us through the cemetary. The post commander later asked him why the policy was "violated." The commander's response was, "We passed in review and showed respect to our fallen comrade." Sometimes it's okay to break protocol when showing respect is well-deserved. This fine Marine did just that.

  • Sounds like some one did not get his way when he was little. There where many flags going by . there is a little old lady in our town I salute her in her car every time I see her , her license plate is MOH 1. A salute is a sign of respect , get over your self.

  • I believe this was motivated SSGT Chambers..ha ha

  • As a Marine, I see nothing wrong with this.

A salute is a sign of respect, and what he was doing, was showing the respect that those veterans deserved, which they did not receive when they were soldiers, Marines, sailors and airman.

Why do we salute a fallen soldier when colors is not playing, or when an officer is no where in site? A form of respect.

and JarheadMarine, do you not think that those veterans deserve respect?

  • agreed, and well put sir.

  • @nevin81 I completely agree!

  • @nevin81 this marine was not tired he was over come with emotion look at the other video,s of this, this marine is out standing and im from ireland so semper fi to all marines and theyre families

  • @nevin81 In additioon there were about a million National Ensigns on the bikes.

  • "Good, want to show up late for formation? you get to salute a parade!" "eh not that bad" "...IN YOUR BLUES!!" "Ay sir..."

  • Semper fi

  • I talked with him afterward, he told us it was to honor the veterans as they road past him.

If you had any level of intelligence you would know that a salute is a sign of respect. Hence, the reason he was saluting them. To show them the respect he believes they deserve.

  • those are all veteratans. In uniform you can salute anyone you think diserves respect.

  • actually you can, and there were uncased colors.

  • Thats bull. I make that decision everyday.

  • No YOU can kiss MY ASS! I decide who I show respect to. ME and no one else!

This country is founded on those people in uniform, they fought for the right for me to tell you to go FU** yourself!!!

When I see a soldier out eating dinner or whatever I make the decision to go up and thank them and give them a hug or a handshake! ME not you! And god help anyone telling me to my FACE that I can or cannot do so.

  • @JarheadMarine You are a moron. I hate quoting general orders, but what's your 10th?

To salute all officers, colors and standards not cased. When men on motorcycles with american flags on the back are riding by, that Marine is saluting those flags. Those flags, if you didn't know (which is one of the first things you're taught in boot camp), are NATIONAL COLORS. BTW, change your motard screen name. I don't know anyone who likes to be called a jarhead.

  • tulsabanshee is right. He is not forced to do this and he is not saluting one particular flag. He is making himself a symbol of respect toward the entire patriotic function.

  • The sound is almost deafening when they gather up at the parking lot at the Pentagon.

  • most times during parades, it is only necessary to rise and render honors for the color guards. just about everyone/everything has a flag in some parades. he is not saluting "a bunch of bikers". he is saluting what they represent in this D.C. ride. and he wasn't just walking by and got caught and had to salute... he voluntarily does this! for over 4 hours.

  • Hes is the Lone Marine, and my personal hero. God bless his hearty soul, he is the personal inspiration for me, and a major factor in me being a pre boot marine,

  • so anytime a flag is flying anywhere, you have to salute? what are the rules and exceptions of that?

  • lol id salute once and keep walking lol this vid is motto lol

  • why'd a guy from the M.S.D.T. have to stand there and salute a bunch of bikers?

  • cuz they had American flags on the back of their bikes.

  • That's hilarious. "To salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased." I would end up having to do the same thing.

  • HAHAHA..LOL that's one of the orders to the sentry

  • M.S.D.T????

  • Marine Corps Silent Drill Team.

  • He volunteered for this. Farther down the road is a table with a red rose and a log where a senior NCO's standing and doing the same thing. I can't remember why they do it on hand. I'm sure you can find it at a rolling thunder website.

  • just goes to show their dedication for this great country we live in.
