In defense of the USA for owning Hawaii. Yes protect the old ways and land. There is no original owner they did migrate from the Polynesia around 2000 years ago. Land belongs to God. With the military might of today if the USA didn't own it who else would you like to see? The UN is supposed to be that vehicle. Isn't that why we were supposedly in Kuwait. Hawaii had treaties with twenty countries. Russia, China, Japan, Germany, England and yes the US.

Hawaii was by no means a passive land either, King Kalākaua sailed to europe to secure those treaties. No other monarch at that time traveled intercontinentally. I`olani Palace had electricity before the white house. Hawaii mightnot have been advanced in warfare, but they were very advanced in other ways.

It's a pity Abel doesn't have proper documents of ownership of the land. He has his documents written in a notebook, so he doesn't own the land. Actually Uncle has a lien filed with the bureau of conveyances. The land can not legally change hands without a court hearing. Waiohinu dreams, that reality company that bought the land never appeared in court for their hearing, and the land is in limbo. As far as olson goes, the guy that bought the south side of the pond, he hasn't had a court hearing either.

Park, condos, or whatever, I think that the objective of the government is to get uncle off the land. Even if you are not on the Big island, you can still raise awareness of the stituation. That mountain behind Uncle Abe is where Na'alehu used to be. Different name before but still have pictures of when they brought all the houses down from there. Some family still buried up there. Don't let Kawa'a be turned into a damn park.

I think that the name of the mountain is Maka Nau. It and the one next to it were the eyes of Kau. Supposedly you can see to Kapoho from one and to upper Ho'okena on the other. People used to burn signal fires to communicate from the other sides of the island if there was a threat. They say Kau has never been conquered, and as long as uncle is down at Kawa'a that is still true Aloha
