Beautiful video! , I love cahuita, I love my country!!!! everybody is invited to see this amazing piece of heaven in the earth!!! PURA VIDA COSTA RICA!
Can I just interject here, we are all Earthlings, we are all one, a perception of a place or person is merely a reflection of your own self as it is your own interpretation of what you are seeing or feeling. to get upset over some ones view on a place or object, is a reflection of something you hold within you, whether you know it or not. Live and let live. love and let love, hate and you will allow hate. simple really.
Have you heard the old saying..."The true sign of Ignorance is ASSUMPTIONS".
Good Luck to you...I am quite sure that insults and profanity have been very PRODUCTIVE for you.
Tus comentarios son el vivo ejemplo de lo absurdo elevado a la enesima potencia, no tienen ni base, ni fundamento,ni cabeza, ni nada. Empezaste muy foforon y ahora te resguardas under a"...blasfemy, you insulted me, I know about Costa Rica, and my primo, and sportsmanship..."Otra vez PURA VIDA MY ASS!
Accept the fact you have a big mouth, and probably that you didn't even imagine that someone around the globe could stand up and fight back. And to be Costarrican, you talk like if you ain't.
My husband and I was in Cahuita this pass July we rode push bikes through the whole trail that runs along side the beach. We rode scooters over to Puerto Viejo which is not very far at all. We went horse back riding in the jungle and ziplined 6 all the way back to the horse ranch. Went snorkeling with that same guy on that boat. We had a great time however, the bus from San Jose to Cahuita is very long.
I'm sure its like everywhere else in the world if you leave yr sh*t sitting around someone is going to take it! Bottom line, use common sense no matter where you are in the world!
What's the purpose of that comment? If it happened to you I am sorry, but don't generalize Limon. La gente de Limon es pura vida y todo el pais es tuanis. Viva Costa Rica, Kiko
Agreed. Everyone told me continuously that my camera and mp3 player would get stolen in S America. Not once. It's called looking after yourself and your possessions; be aware, not paranoid.
@realsky2324 no one have stole me NOTHING ON ALL MY TRIPS AROUND COSTA RICA!!! and i have leave my camara and ipod at the beach thousand of times while im doing snorkeling or whatever... people is overacting....
@summerraen - I agree. When I stayed in Limon, some European tourists did get their equipment stolen...but they left it unguarded. I've been to CR twice and have never had anything but positive experience. Caution is necessary EVERYWHERE. Love CR. Going to go back again next year.
I am full blood Costarrican, and let me tell you something, you are the live example of the absurd. Your comment has no head nor foundation. I go around Chinatown in LA and been in Harlem and some other places around the US and let me tell you something the crime rate here in US is ridicullously higher than Costa Rica, not to mention drugs, political scandals, homicides, suicides, police abuse of power, I mean, I can go on and on and on, and I wouldn't stop....next time meassure your words.
Is there anything beautiful about Los Estados Unidos since you now live here. Do you consider America your home? If so, I find peculiar how so many people from all over the world move here to the US to have a "Better Life" and every chance they get...they say say all of these things about how bad and horrific the United States is. Yet they never pack-up there things and move back to their HOME COUNTRY!!! Hmmmm...I WONDER WHY?
Well is so obvious that you haven't yet understand the real meaning of lecture comprehension. YES! This is home for me! USA(not America). If people don't pack their things and go back to their country is because you, your ancestors, and following generations are too damn lazy to get their ass in the fields and work hard as a real man of honor. Those people are necessary for the economy and they are what make this country the greatest of all. Diversity of ethnicities is what is all about.
I don't know about you, but in my case, I have the benefit of having two citizenships, being Costarrican and from United States. I said full blood cuz my parents, and my grandparents as well were full blood Costarricans, I might have a lil bit of Spaniard, but despite that, I consider myself COSTARRICAN, and from UNITES STATES AS WELL. The whole and main reason of my comment was comparative because I can live, say and do whatever I want in both countries. And because I know both.
Now that is not fair and it actually speaks volumes about you!!! I simply asked you; "Is there anything Beautiful about the United States". Since your entire post was about all that was bad (crime, drugs, politics, police...etc) in America. And in you choose to respond by attacking my work ethic, my manhood and my insulting my ancestry. Hmmm, I asked a Question....You send insults. Do you believe this says anything about me...Or a great deal about you???
Well, have you hear the old saying"...if you ask what you shouldn't, you hear what you wouldn't?..."
Dont come over now and try to play a different roll, because is clearly understandable that what you really meant in your first comment had some sort of xenofoby in it. To me what it seems is the button of true being pushed, and that really hurts! Doesn't it? What you mean by"...packing things and go back?HOME COUNTRY?BETTER LIFE?WONDER WHY? No wonder, just learn the facts.
Oh, and please don't lecture me with something has been written already. You just didn't posted"...Is there anything Beautiful about the United States...", you actually kept on going with a few more words. Pura vida my ass! That phrase is too big in your mouth. Do yourself a favor and also to 5 million of Costarricans ok:
I simply asked a question rooted in the fact, that I have met people from all over Latin American. And they go on & on about "ALL OF THE ILLS" of America. yet continue live, work and educate their children here. Since I live here, I have decided to stay and do everything possible to make it a better place for me and my family. I could complain, Insult peoples manhood, work ethic, ancestry and use harsh language and profanity....But that would speak VOLUMES ABOUT MY CHARACTER!!!!
