Yeah,Love Buzz is what they opened with, I think. It's from the 2/17/90 Iguanas Show in Tijuana. I was there. It was epic. THis was the first time they performed anywhere close to San Diego (where I'm from). Bleach was the only record out and the only picture I had ever seen of them was the one on the cover of Bleach. So, seeing them live was also seeing what they all looked like for the first time.

After this show, Kurt sat on the edge of the stage and talked to people for a while. I remember, before they got big, Kurt would always be somewhere in the crowd at there shows. One time I didn't realize that he was standing right next to me. I tried to bum a smoke off him. He said he was all out but offered me a drag off the one he was smoking. As I took a puff, I looked at him and said, "oh wow, you're Kurt Cobain". We chatted for a bit then he wandered off through the crowd.

You can watch pretty much the whole set that this Love Buzz footage is from on youtube. Look for the four parts under "Nirvana 02/17/90 - Iguana's, Tijuana, Mexico 1 Of 4". It was a great show. TAD headlined, and a local San Diego band, Fishwife, opened the night. Nirvana played in the middle. It rained like crazy and I think that kept some people from going to the show. There were only about 50 people total in attendance.
