With this way you cant use this brain for sectioning. Their is another cleaner way to harvest a fully mouse brain without using Scissors or fine end forceps.

Also u need to perfuse this mouse to get blood-less brain.

Mice research has cured diseases for animals and humans alike. Too many ignorant comments. Hypocritical to say all these things yet use statins and pain medication.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure that brain cannot be used since you butchered it. I do electrophysiology and there is no way that those brain slices would be usable with all of the cuts in it.

The fact that you care more for a mouse than other humans is nothing short of despicable. I am an animal lover as well, but without animal testing there would be no cure for things like cancer, smallpox, or many other things you are inoculated for as a child. Do you know somebody who survived cancer because of a drug? This mouse is why.
