  • BTW: Great explanation of PMI, but please include the difficulty you will encounter trying to remove PMI.

    We've been battling our mortgage company forever on this. We pay our mortgage every month, on time, since it's inception 7 years ago. We are STILL paying PMI of $117 a month. We have asked, no, pleaded with them to HELP us.

    Here is what, we as honest homeowners that pay our mortgage have found... If you are an honest to God hard working American not at risk of defaulting your mortgage, you are SOL.
