  • lol bad quality physics

  • @teamforteress

They're Indie devs, They are one of the first Indie devs to even use ragdoll physics

    Give them some slack

  • i love this engine : )

  • How come the overgrowth engine doesn't look as nice as this? When will you be adding dynamic shadows like this?

  • ummm... this IS the overgrowth engine..

  • FAIL!

  • Something is not right with friction..

  • They do seem a bit flat, like they immediately snap into place once they stop moving.

  • Thats kinda how massive blocks of stone work in real life tho.

  • These boxes seems alot less bouncy than in other engines, cool

  • I can't wait for Lugaru 2!!!! ^_^

  • Woop :3 Boxes of death. Does this mean we can now hit objects?

*imagines leg-cannoning boulder from block on top of enemy wolf head*

    -RDM

  • This is probably how UPS lost my package ...

  • too much friction. the boxes look sticky

  • In this demo the friction was actually set to default (infinity). However, ODE supports any level of friction, and I have toned it down since then.

  • what is this program?

  • This is a game engine that I am writing for my company Wolfire Software.

  • "Lugaru 2: The Infinite Boxes of Evil"

  • It looks great with the the shaders you've integrated so far, as well as the dynamic soft shadows. ;3 Many kudos and well wishes to ya! Hope to see more!

  • Beats the CryEngine2 =P

Nice vid. Can't wait for Lugaru2 to be released...

  • That's actually awesome...I've never seen so many falling boxes. lol

  • Nice! *Eagerly awaits Lugaru 2 demo*
