the script sucks, the acting sucks, the casting sucks, the fight coreography sucks, the CGI sucks, the camerawork sucks... the only thing about this movie worthy of any attention is the music... which isn't even all that great either... I had really, really hoped for a better movie

I want my chara-- I mean these characters to really demonstrate their prowess in battle.Even though this movie's about powers...oh but what a twist."

@Arella0407 Are we really sure the authors of the animated series did not have a glimpse of the future in which they saw this movie before writing "the ember island players"? Cause the situation seems too similar to be just coincidence.
So apparently Night thinks that fighting is people of the 2 forces scattered in crowds all doing close hand to hand with people aiming for each-other's weapons. If that were the case in this battle there would be blood spattering everywhere.
What the show did was it had formations of people normally fighting at a diastase using bending or weapons, therefor giving a realistic feel to a battle.

Technically Aang and Sokka are Japanese names and are being pronounced correctly in this film. The cartoon was kind of masquerading as an anime when in truth it wasnt. though I will admit that I prefer how they pronounce aangs name in the series lol

At least this deleted scene has an amazing unreleased score in it. Damn! I still hate that Lakeshore Records cut all the real epic chorus from the film to the sampled chorus for physical CD because of the cost or some financial thing.

"the last airbender" is the worst movie i've ever seen. i mean it. sure, there are "worse" movies than this, but lets put it in perspective. this movie cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make. it came from apparently excellent source material. it was directed written and produced by a once extremely talented filmmaker. the only thing that actually IS probably the "worst" of all time about it is the acting. honest to god.
