@SpookiePunkMan the scenes with the Vikings at the start are shot in the highlands above Skjalfandi bay North east Iceland if im not mistaken, Most of the members of the band are from Husavik that lies by Skjalfandi bay plus some of the Viking actors are from Husavik too!

If you are asking about the band playing ive got no idea as its too dark;P

Actually it's shot in the mountains beneath Snaefellsjokull, the one from Journey to the center of the earth by Jules Verne. It's on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in western Iceland.

@ikeaboy69 oh i stand corrected, thought the scene from 0:53 was an overview over skjálfandi bay with Kinnafjöll in the backround but looking at it closely i see thats not the case!
