  • I LOVE Winona ! I miss her so much ! Winona please do more movies PLEASE !!!!!!!!

  • Winona looks amazing!!!!!

  • @S3234953 Hear! Hear! She's aging beautifully.

  • Beautiful woman.

  • she's sooooooooooooo pretty!

  • Surprisingly, in my opinion, Winona's performance was one of the best in this film. She NAILED the part of desparately clinging onto that last bit of what was left of her old life only to have Natalie Portman's character pretty much sweeping it away from her.

  • Kira Knightley is like the modern day version of Wionna when she was a teenager and early 20's!

  • so gorgeous !

  • she gets prettier with age, she's the prettiest one from this movie

  • i love wyona even if she when she will be 80 years old she still looks preety not as preety as when she was younguer but she still has it wow

  • winona ryder has some of the most prettiest brown eyes ive ever seen.

  • I adored her performance, and she looks as beautiful as ever. A passionate artist if ever there was one.

  • She's aging, but still looks good. Looks MILFy. Hopefully she doesn't fall for plastic surgery and maintains those natural good looks for life.

  • Woah, for some reason I thought she was way younger, like in her 20s or 30s.

  • Anyway... WINONA FOREVER! :D

  • She was prettiestt in girl interrupted!

  • Winona ryder is pretty, always has been always will b she hasnt change a bit shes my idol luv u winona

  • We're all getting older, I guess... she's not as hot as she used to be. Oh well - I don't think she was going to go out with me anyway.

  • Melissa!

  • she looks like Tina Fey in this interview to me!

  • Because I've been watching so many of her old movies in my mind, Winona has remained this timeless young person. Maybe owing to the fact I've seen Edward Scissorhands so many times, I don't know. But watching this made me sad as I realized she's growing up, I'm growing up, and it's not the 90s anymore :(

  • @imyumi i have the same feeling.. i saw Edward Scissorhands for about, well, 3 times on the last two weeks. she was sooo beautiful there... i just lovee watching her

after the 2000 she somehow loses the spark she has, but that's okay, i'm still a fan or her... :)

  • She looks so skinny

  • I love you .....

  • No bro, my point isn't about how old she is, or how she looks now. What I mean is Winona is a different person since around 2000. She is everything but not the same talented person that she was 20 years ago, somehow she lose the spark/charisma... for me Winona is dead :/

  • @EscarneoExquisito She's not dead she's just older. Wiser.

  • Why do all the cool and pretty and AWESOME acctresses have to get old

    SHIT!!

I miss her as a teenager

  • winona is perfect, Johnny Depp and who lost, after Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder ended, he was with Kate Moss, accused of being an addict, and soon after was with Vanessa Paradis, with whom this until today, their children are beautiful, but if they would be more of winona.

  • Natalie, Mila and Winona in one movie.... I AM IN HEAVEN!!!

  • wat's her part on this movie?

  • I'm 100% straight But Winona is HOTand an Amazing actress i love her <3

  • Winona is sucha an amazing actress. Personally I think she could have been in the league of actresses like Kate Winslet if it wasn't for her personal problems.

  • Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley are all beautiful....but I think the ultimate modern beauty is Anne Hathaway.

  • Beautiful lady! (but from a non-american, non native english-speaking person: what's with the "you know" in every phrase?)

  • @loboestepario2424

    well you know....

    :P

  • @loboestepario2424 it's just a phrase that native English speaking people use to portray a sense of unity. If I'm talking to myy friend and I say, "I just don't understand why someone would do something like that, you know?" I'm asking her opinion on the situation as well as including her in my question. Sorry if that doesn't make sense...

  • @starrbeatlesqueen Whoops, made a mistake. She turns 40 THIS year (for some reason, I thought she was born in 1970, not '71).

  • The last "recent" movie I've seen of Winona Ryder was Mr. Deeds.

I can believe she's almost 41. I was just watching Heathers and Mermaids (of course, she was 20 years younger in those).

  • FUCK YOU TIME!!! X (

  • Put Winona's boob's on Natalie's chest & OMG - fuckin' division by zero!

  • Oh god. she got ollld.

  • she doesn't age!

  • Natalie portman is fucking cry baby stupid cunt.

  • @gardenofarcane wtf man it was a movie

  • i was so in love with her as a boy

  • FUCK YOU GOD!

    SHE GOT OLD!

  • To have Winona, Natalie and Mila in this film was a dream come true. Thank you Darren Aronofsky for putting these three gorgeousand talented sweethearts in the same film. Thank you!

  • that movie, was amazing. period.

  • Winona Ryder was in the movie?! Where, what scene? LMAO

  • She was the only good part of the movie. Boy did that movie suck

  • she gets prettier and prettier as she gets older

  • See related video entitled "Winona Eyder Steals from Store" . haha

    this slut is a thief

  • @graverobber35 all wrong are human beings Johnny Depp stole and smashed the hotel and see what he has now also movies and Angelina Beautiful Everyone wants to go back to Johnny

  • @asrar36 you must be another celebrity worshipper. Don't you know they commit these crimes for publicity for their cheap movies? Whenever they are given a ticket for driving backwards down the highway , it's because they have a movie coming out. I am tired of hearing about their crimes , they don't get my money at the box office. Without publicity, they are nothing. Stop glorifying them.By the way, your comment does not make sense.

  • this interview is probably longer than her performance in the film.

  • she looks old now. she was pretty once

  • @Shixxle89 I read your comment before watching the video and my first reaction was "What the hell!"...but then I watched it and I kind of agree :/

  • She's still very pretty. Still wish her and Johnny Depp got married.

  • @thelupoistheman1 EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! HAHAHAHAHA PLEASE JOHNNY GET BACK WITH THIS WOMAN!!!

  • @thelupoistheman1

Well... I prefer him with Vanessa...

  • Natalie Portman is more of a modern day Audrey Hepburn than Winona Ryder. Hopefully everyone will love and respect Winona Ryder again as a person and an actress because she is really versatile.

  • what hapened to her she looks old she's not tha old in age.....

  • @MrGirlfucker She was born in 1971 but she disappeared this last decade. That's why it's such a shock to see her now in 2011 at 40. We didn't see her transition in age. She still looks great though - I hope I look that fresh at 40!

  • @fuschiadea She didn't "disappear this last decade." Zoolander, Mr. Deeds, S1m0ne, The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, The Darwin Awards, A Scanner Darkly, The Ten, Sex and Death 101, The Last Word, The Informers, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, Stay Cool, Star Trek, When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story, and Blank Swan: are you saying these movies never happened?

Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about.

  • @massiveyouth Thanks for the info but seriously... was the last sentence necessary?

  • @fuschiadea when questioning someone's ignorance a "what the fuck" is always necessary - its called manners

  • she was beautiful and is still beautiful. and to all of the people who think she is looking old i would like to see you guys look like that at her age. perfect lady!

  • @soggyringlets They all do look very similar. In fact, Kiera Knightley played Sabe, Padme's bodyguard/decoy queen in Star Wars Episode I (who was played by Natalie Portman).

  • OMG what happend to winona?

  • Facelift around the eyes gives that pulled-latex look; she gets away with it now, but her skin has always been excellent: the problem with yo-yo dieting is that it loosens the skin, agitates it, then the sag factor happens..it's called getting old. I hope she stays clear of any further "work"; she should age like Bardot, gracefully. The bottom line is that every person who has had extensive surgery LOOKS it!! Jennifer Connellly looks GREAT for her age, both use the same make-up. True!

  • Winona Ryder's role is somewhat brief in "Black Swan", but boy, was her performance as Beth unsettling as hell!

  • she's just the same

  • its like they casted as many hot jewish girls as they could find

  • Wow, she looks so old :/ I was in love with her in Edward Scissorhands. She was incredibly beautiful.

  • @juliaxbadulia I LOVE that fact that she's aging honestly. She doesn't feel paranoid to go and get botox or any of that nonsense. And it works, I mean yes she looks older, but she still looks so beautiful.

  • @juliaxbadulia,

She was, but she was the most gorgeous in Age of Innocence. My god was truly in love with her.

  • @juliaxbadulia I was just thinking the same thing..just watched Edward Scissorhands and she was so gorgeous..then again that film is 21 years old..heh.

  • When I was younger I used to confuse Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman, and Kiera Knightley with each other. This really isn't important in anyway, but I thought I would share it with you. You're welcome.

  • @soggyringlets u are funny :D lets have sex!

  • @soggyringlets haha, so did i!!

  • @soggyringlets Same here! Still do, sometimes... lol

  • @soggyringlets Winona is the one with a bust

  • @soggyringlets yeah! natalie and kiera lol not winona though:)

  • love her

  • That was a very awkward interview. O.O

I love her and her acting and I am glad she is back. :)

  • her face is the female version of eminem !! LOL

  • this seemed painfully awkward

  • Is that Winona? The thought of jail must have scare the beauty out of her.....

  • @Ninefingers1010 She's just gotten a little older, no big deal.

  • mel's gonna have a field day with this .

  • I don't recognize this Winona Rydery, I mean she's still beautiful but I don't recognize this face as Winona anymore :(

  • @EscarneoExquisito That's exactly it,I didn't know how to explain it..she looks so different,older of course,but..yeah. :/

  • @EscarneoExquisito well she's older

  • @EscarneoExquisito

What the hell do you mean?

  • @Nineteen1900Hundred

I mean she is another Winona, another person (And yes, I know people CHANGE), she lost personality!

Right now, 2011 she is just "another" common actress... Simple words; the artistic prime era of Winona ended 12 years ago... And that makes me sad.

  • @EscarneoExquisito Really? I find her to be very typically and recognizeably Winona Rider. Remember "Girl Interrupted" with her and Angelina Jolie? She's very similar here in this movie.

  • Winona stole every scene she was in.

  • @lightronv . yeah, i heard she's big on stealing.

  • @kharnvelzyghur You can die right now for saying that comment!!!

  • @Mycutenames . i can, yes it's a choice. but i won't... i'll live to piss on your grave. danke. go suck on a chode nose.

  • hard to believe that movie Mermaids that she was in was 21 YEARS AGO !

  • Saw it today. Just had NO idea she was even in it. Did a double take when I saw the poster of her character on the building, thought, "That looks kinda like..."

Seriously, she was wicked disturbing in this. I was glued to the edge of my seat in the few scenes she had. I hope she gets some kind of award because she deserves it. She wasn't in it but for maybe a few minutes total but MAN... unbelievably tragic, memorable, terrifying character.

  • excellent film with spectacular performance by Natalie Portman. read the movie review and other Oscar nominated films including The King's Speech, The Fighter and The Kids Are All RIght at our page in Facebook. type Two Moo's & A Foo at Facebook, and click LIKE to stay connected. regular updates on movies, music and other entertainment news

  • I just love her,I'm glad she's back

  • the scene where natalie ripped of the skin from her finger was.. uuh no words to describe this. i felt that pain too.. :D

  • i only watched the film because of winona ;)

  • Aging very well.

  • Why did she pull up a thorn from her body? Isn't black swan a play or did she really turn into a swan ? And her eyes were as red as fire. . . What was that about exactly?

  • Wow, she looks so old! ._. I remember her in House of Spirits, she was such a cute tomboyish girl... Though maybe it's the excess of make-up on her...

  • grew up with Beetlejuice and Bram Stokers Dracula, both my fav movies with her in them :D

  • @Repo342TrueBlood1 Mine are Edward Scissorhands and Dracula :D

  • I love how Winona Ryders personality has not changed one bit.

  • She literally "stole" the scene, didn't she? :D

  • Winona and Barbara Hershey are the unsung heroes of Black Swan - I loved both their performances. It's not necessarily the amount of screen time actors have; it's about how they use it to make their mark and I have to say that both definitely made an impact with me and with others by the looks of it.

  • @Sati1979 definitely wish winona had more screen time.

  • Winona is done -she blew it. She probably rocked on the casting couch to get this tiny role that almost an B actress could have played. I tihnk she was on screen a total of 3 minutes. No surprise and not a big deal - many artists are a flash in the pan and even if they aren't self destructive they just don't have the longevity anyway. Winona is both.

  • She was about the only thing worth watching in Black Swan. Her scenes with Portman were the only ones that had some chemistry. The rest of the movie felt forced, uncertain about what it wanted to be.

It was so ridiculous to find Winona in it, by chance, didn't even know she was involved. At first I thought it was some cameo she was doing, but then... It was like finding your favorite sweater, lost for years, in a closet full of artificially artsy clothes.

  • @Alekkkkkkkkk Maybe it felt forced because that's they way it was supposed to be? It's a movie about doubles, and losing who you are, forcing yourself to the extreme to achieve the perfection you're looking for. It's not a dandy, pwetty, sweet ballet movie.

The only good scene of her in the whole movie was when she "stabbed" herself.

  • @akissy What do you mean? It was meant to be overly artsy without a good reason? Is that ballet? With this high-caliber cast? It doesn't do any genre, anything properly. I wasn't confused or amused, there was nothing to get other than what you've written. I can accept the 'white swan' coming off as forced, but the 'black' one felt as forced as the other. Didn't want pwetty ballet, wanted something, it gave me nothing. Except Nona. Saying I'm supposed to like it because I'm supposed to like it?

  • @Alekkkkkkkkk Maybe you don't understand it because you have no idea the themes that are being presented. the genres're body horror, and psychological thriller. The way Nina felt her budding psychosis, coupled with her obsession on being perfect, how her mother was ridding her from herself, how she was fighting to be free... it all was very well depicted, mirroring the story of Swan Lake. You weren't supposed to be confused, nor amused, that's why you weren't.

  • @akissy It's not overly artsy, it's actually very close to reality, the way the hallucinations were presented, the frustration, and the obsession. Artists live like that, in a passionate crazy way.

Oh and Winona's part... I agree time on screen isn't relevant to a good performance... but honestly, she could've given more to the already small character. It seemed to me as if she was just doing it to do it. I didn't feel neither pity nor hate for her.

  • @akissy you read too much into it, just like that South Park episode "scrotie mcboogerballs" That episode was made for people like you.

  • @ZidaneSteiner I do't watch stuff like South Park, too many curse words, very little nurturing content. ^^ I like satire, I just like elegant satire. ^^

  • @akissy Interestingly enough, this is the same conversation I had yesterday with two, slightly obese, unattractive women and an effeminate man. Hell, this is the final argument you ever hear used if you don't like Swan. 'How dare you expect something at all! Nat's in there you tool! Also, Art!'

By Lathander for the Nth time, I did get the themes, you cannot not get it. That's one of the many issues, it doesn't provoke thought at all. It touches many a genre yet does nothing. Also, Perfect Blue.

  • @Alekkkkkkkkk Well, I'm not obese, actually I'm kinda underweight. ^^ I'm not exactly pretty, but I'm not unattractive, as you can see from my thumbnail. ^^Perfect Blue was well written too. Look, if you don't like it fine. That's your opinion, but you can't say it's not a good movie and expect to be taken as a fact. ^^ I liked it because I'm Paranoid, and the way they portrayed her Psychosis was real and accurate, so I liked how they did that. *shrugs* It's ok to disagree. ^^

  • @akissy Hah. Fair enough.

  • @akissy the true story is about how nina has been sexually abused by her mother from early age and it eventually drives her crazy. its hinted at several times thourghout the movie

  • @Kjelliiz Nah. Nina's mother is overprotective and is a bit neurotic as well. There's no sexual abuse hints in the picture. She keeps her daughter in a child-like state because it's easier for her to control Nina. Being innocent, fearful, and delicate means Nina hasn't really experienced a normal maturing process. I was an overprotected child, being only child and a girl to boot. I recognized a lot of my parents' reactions in Nina's mothers'. That's not sexual abuse: it's called control.

  • @akissy More over, Nina's mother is projecting her fears and wants on Nina. She doesn't think Nina is able to be a prima ballerina because she herself wasn't, and she sees her daughter as an extension of herself. And she wants Nina to keep on being a good girl, because she would've wanted not to make the "mistakes" that "ended" her career.

  • Winona Ryder was AMAZING in "Black Swan". Then again, everyone was just fantastic. I loved Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey. I seriously think this is the best acted film of 2010. For me to think 5 people are worthy of an Oscar in the same movie is something.

Not only that, but I think this is the BEST movie of 2010. Best directing, best acting, best cinematography. The script was also mind-blowing. I am DEFINITELY seeing this one again. Hope Portman gets an Oscar.

  • She's still pretty! :>

  • swatch dogs & diet coke heads. LOVE HER!

  • You want to lick Vincent's arse much more? Its your interview not about him!

  • oh winona love her!

  • We love you Winona! We're glad to have you back :)

  • Drugs -when she was caught shoplifting, she had like 18 different prescription medications in her purse. She is only 39, and since then has hardly acted - 10 years ago. Christy Brinkly is almost 59, but a real goody two shoes - but she looks great.

  • if winona were younger, she definitley would've been picked for natalie portman's role instead

  • WINONA is a has been, Natalie is a real STAR, Oscar worthy.

  • @LMAOUTURD

That's coming from someone who doesn't realise what an actress is.

Winona has more talant in her little finger than portman has.

so shut up asshole and stop commenting on stuff you know fuck all about

  • Wow she really aged. But I still love her! At least she allows herself to age naturally. Love her! Love her voice!

  • WinoNA forever !!

  • I LOVE YOU Winona

  • STEAL IT!!!!

  • this movie was about ballet, but somehow it feels like it is a rip off of Hollywood too.

  • Boże, jak dobrze, że dostała wreszcie dobrą rolę. Zasługiwała na dobrą, dojrzałą, poważną rolę. Życzę jej wszytskiego najlepszego!

  • Oh my God I love her in Little Women :D

    I MUST WATCH THIS.

  • I love her because she's one of the few hollywood actresses who hasn't butchered herself to stay 'young.' She still looks great. I'd cast her as catwoman in a second. She has the age, the edge and the ass for the part.

  • i love her

u guys gotta see how beautiful she sees in the movie edward sissorhands with jonny deep

  • Her scene at the end with the nail filer was brutal.

  • @salizarrr stop spoiling the movie -___-

  • @dancemankind94 I've seen the movie, and actually, that's not really a spoiler. There is so much more that happens, so that scene is like nothing compared to everything else.

  • @salizarrr what did she do?

  • @salizarrr I want to see this movie but I'm scared it will traumatize me. The trailer alone is disturbing (like the bloody eyes and the ripping out of barbed metal in the flesh). Will I still be able to sleep if I watch this flick?

  • 0:21 botox fuck up with her right eye.

  • I'ld like to see Winona and Natalie do a movie together! That would be a dream!..Great Actressess.

  • I LOVE HER SO MUCH"!!!!

  • She's getting older now but she's still absolutely gorgeous :)

  • @Hipmister3000 Are you kidding me, son? She's got those "I'm about to be a hag..." droopy looking eyes and that nasty, "I think so much my head is gonna explode!" vein sticking out the side of her head. She needs a meal.

  • She scared the shit out of me in Black Swan, well done done (:

  • She did great in Black Swan

  • Is this a tina fey spoof? She looks just like Liz Lemon!!!!

  • damn i remember her from wayy bac in Edward Scissorhands....she did a good job in the movie :)

  • she looks old!!.. but beauty

  • Very beautiful woman. She looks even more attractive in her 40's than when she was younger. Great actress. So sad that this hypocrite and puritan american society and movie industry have deprived us from enjoying her talent.

  • Winona's awesome......nuf said. :)

  • We love you Winona!

  • Winona :O I havnt seen her since Edward Sissorhands
