"Possible is the spirit of hope that every immigrant brings." I really respect every Laotian who has left such a beautiful place TO come to the Western countries where POSSIBLE can rarely be found. Where is freedom? I hope every Laotian's heart is loyal to their homeland. The culture, family and strong personalities of every Lao survivor amazes me in every aspect. As a Canadian, I am very angry at the Western countries who destroyed a place with the kindest and hardest working people.I respect.

To lao337one,Yes great song!I cried every time I listen to it.I missed my mom very much.I lived with her all her life.I always think how she risk her life for us to come FOR A BETTER life.She was single mom.We crossd Thai River on banada tree in the middle of the night.She picked warms when she landed in Canada and saved.She enjoyed it too.She provided us with food shelter and through school.Now I'm over 30 with 3 healthy kids and successful.We want to go back to loas and make her Big Ta Bat.

This video remind me so much of my mom who past away 3 years ago. She went back to Laos to go to this function. It was the best time of her life to be home again with her families. I saw the pictures that she toke,she was so happy! Seeing her like that Priceless! For those who wait to go to your home land.Don't wait anymore.Just Go!!!!Life is to short.I'm glad she went before she past on.I wouldnot be where I am today if you didn't bring me to Canada!I will always be greatful and love u mom.

Reading your comments here make me think so much of my past. I was deeply touched by your story because we have so much in common. My mom also past away 12 years ago and I still miss her every day. She had suffered so much and worked so hard to feed eight of us by herself. She was the toughest mom I ever know. Life was very hard for us when we arrived in Canada. For her sacrifice, I am forever remember til the of time. Love and peace.

Yes it was, but we were luckies to our oldesr syster who willing to take a lead. After our father pasaway, were very strugled to make a living, but we nerver stop loves and support one another. Every one have to do somtings with out complaining. Now we only six off us stil survives. I believed the power off love honesty, and respected can lead us to be come success at the end.
