True, the sound is directly recorded. Opening sound files instead of directly recording is in the cards for future versions. You could actually hook a nice mice into the iPhone if you could find the proper adapters, but I've never seen such a thing.

Nice! Could you (or anyone) please tell me what kind of cable you are using to connect the piano to the iPhone.

i dont think the piano is actually attached to the phone... the program uses the mic to record. the cord out of the iphone is to a speaker

Aah, you're right. I didn't pay enough attention to the sound. Or maybe it was just wishful thinking. (Or a bit of both.)
