  • imaginary friends for grown-ups. Be a good, moral person and your good to go if there is a GOD. Rest of it is all bullshit.

  • religion is a fairy tale.

  • No one is worried about zues or an other "god". They were forgotten an yours will be soon

  • @nemetal36 Did you know zues was a fallen angle from God pretending to be God teaching things they should have not tought? Only if people read all scriptures to understand everything.Did you know there is evadence to what I just said? did you know that the very ufos we see today are real true angels? did you know that there where many faulse Gods even in true scripture and even they where proven faulse but the true God has never been proven wrong?.

  • @mystic81006 Source...

  • not enough video to make sense of

  • new york streets look dirty

  • looked like a marine to me based on the fact that he did not have a flag, unit patch or rank on his sleeve.

  • what happened? what the soldier say?

  • Jesus save me from you cooky followers!

  • Ughhh....religion...

  • @Michael326 Guess who also said "ughhh.....religion...?" Who had more negative, rude and judgmental things to say against religion and the religious leaders of His day? Who said religion is useless & pointless & wouldn't get you into heaven or do any good to anyone, but, in fact said religion will destroy anyone adhering to it? Jesus Christ said all that! It's all true, too. Religion destroys. Kills. Eternal & abundant life is found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-13

  • @ProChoiceJesus

    cool story bra

  • REPENT!!! REPENT!!!

That man should be shot. That way he can go to "heaven" and we can go on without him.

  • whats he doing here fuck off back to iraq

  • if people keep fighting about religon them there will be more wars i think people should just do wat they belive and just stop fighting

  • religion is a form of control of the many by the few. religious scripture (for the most part) has been through EXTENSIVE editing to achieve the largest effect.

religion is dying. there are many theories why. BUT what should be most significant to everyone is that the form of control over one's thoughts, beliefs, and BEHAVIORS that was religion's function is transitioning to something equally sinister and multi-faceted...facism...and just like religion, facism comes in many forms

  • Show me where the Holy Scriptures of the Bible in all 66 books have undergone "EXTENSIVE editing" and someone may listen to your rhetoric. In fact historians and scholars have found the opposite is true, even though different manuscripts have been found of the same writings hundreds of years apart and even area, the text was amazingly the same. But according to you they have gone "EXTENSIVE editing" so where is this proof?

  • wiki king james bible. that would be a good place to start your education. if you don't want to believe the wiki consensus, show me the research thats backs up your claim. Members of the church you blindly follow haven't just rewritten earlier bible versions from which king james evolved. Historians have uncovered hugely significant intentional omissions, mistranslations, and banning of at least 12 gospels (uncovered in the last 100 years) though some historians hundreds of gospels...

  • Your "proof" is evidence of your ignorance in the ancient texts. The "12 gospels" were not written in the same time period and if any were, not by anyone known to the apostles, additionally, the reason they were not included were because of it being Gnostic writings, NOT Christian writings. In fact Paul spoke out against such people. THAT is how theology is done and THAT is how books are canonized. Just because a book says, "im a scripture too" doesn't make it so.

  • Additionally, that is the beauty of the Scriptures, they endure. I agree, the King James had a number omissions and additions, that is why I don't use it. There are numerous other ancient texts that are far more accurate. Let me give you one big example, the King James omits and replaces God's name YHWH, nearly 7,000 times. That doesn't show the ancient texts are inaccurate, that shows the translation was. Your argument fails, if I read it in Hebrew or Greek, these "translations" don't matter.

  • Aside from these points, the REAL question is, why are you on about the Bible and religion with me? Seriously. What is your purpose? What is your problem? I'm not going to talk to someone that claims he knows about the Scriptures when he clearly doesn't. So step back, and make your purpose known, what is your point, perhaps that is a better angle to speak from.

  • Furthermore, let us just SAY (for argument's sake,) that you are right, the scary evil "leaders" hid these 12 gospels from us. So what are you implying? Yeah I see you are implying they are scary evil leaders, but what are you implying about the Scriptures? Have you stopped to even consider why they were not included (aside from the obvious)? What would be the benefit of including them? Would you feel different toward the bible if they were? Otherwise this point in itself is POINTLESS.

  • you are the one who came after me trying to convice me of your beliefs. i chose to indulge you in your defense of your fragile beliefs and answered your numerous questions. it's evident that you have some serious mental conflicts about your "faith". yes, i think you are insane. no, you have gotten nowhere trying to justify your insane beliefs to me....so why pursue this silliness?

  • oh just to throw some salt on your wounds...jesus christ was not the only messiah of his time period...there is evidence of 30+ other "sons of god" with various levels of followers who put their legends into writing....your little jesus was "annointed" simply because his fable was chosen by the wife of Constantine I to be the official fable of the roman empire, leading to the edict of milan. oh, and the story of jesus is nearly identical to the stories of ancient "gods" from egypt sumeria, etc.

  • Yet that was actually spoken about in the Scriptures. But I'm done talking to you, your arguments LACK substance and you IGNORE all the points I brought up where as I specifically addressed the ones you did. I'm out, the words speak for themselves. I did not try to convince you of anything, what is more, I was not even speaking with you the begin with.

  • ok...good luck with getting to heaven ministerial slave

  • I don't believe I am going to heaven. Continue with your insults as that seems to be the only thing you really have because you have NO argument. Continue ignoring points and questions posed to you. You are a small spec on the internet.

  • the creator being evolution?

  • Comment removed

  • all im saying is that mentioning a creator therefore means that you believe in a religion. You also said that it is wonderful that all religion is dying? I think you need some help friend

  • No, you don't think. That's your problem. Believing in a creator without buying into any person's or institution's claims to know the truth is rejection of religion. I know nothing of the creator or even if one exists. But I allow many possibilities to enter my consciousness. No man, "holy" or otherwise, should ever dictate your beliefs about the mysteries of life. Once you submit to dogma, you've surrendered your individuality and your mind is no longer free.

  • lol its not dying who's been lying to you? If religion was dying the problems these extremist religions have caused would be dying too, and they arent.

  • Of course the actual point I made in my post wasn't addressed though. And in either case, its too typical of the "US" to only think of the "US." There is still a whopping 96% of the population. The US is only about 4% and the world doesn't revolve around the US. That's a very small number even if it may have decreased in "converts" it certainly hasn't in other areas. Whether practicing or not, many people still believe in some form of religion.

  • religion is being shunned WORLDWIDE by the younger people at an amazing rate. for anyone who keeps up with current events (obviously not you), this is common knowledge. you cant begin to debate this when you have so little information and what you do have is incorrect.

  • Like I said, some form of religion ISNT. Period. It doesn't matter what some non-scientific poll says, if you knew anything about "polls" you'd know that polls are the stupidest ways to gather reliable information, it is ONLY based on the statistics that people PARTICIPATE in. So it is really on your end, YOU cannot "debate" on so little information that really isn't "information" to begin with.

  • amongst every age group in the us, several polls have shown a steep decline in religious affiliation, with the last 10 years having the steepest decline. its the same worldwide. it doesn't matter what you BELIEVE anymore. there are fewer people willing to put faith in the garbage that you call scripture and your church. religion is the tool of the devil, and when you realize that you will finally be saved.

  • do you know what makes a religious man an extremist religious man? war and/or genocide...you are simply a hypocrite if you called for war after 9/11. 9/11 and london attacks were a response to (a very warlike) anglo-american empire's half-century of bloodshed in the middle-east. you, like many, are ignorant of history...so i'll highlight a bit of wisdom from your book...proverbs 22:3 - A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going

    and suffer for it.

  • I'm not even going to really attempt to decipher this post here, it doesn't even make sense. Perhaps the sentence structure is a bit off. I oppose all war. Jesus said Christians were not to take up the sword, and to love their neighbors even if it meant our lives. That's the principle I live by. I take "refuge" in God, not man's guns, Ps. 2:12.

  • now you're off on a tangent about polls and sentence structure for some strange reason. it appears like you're trying to say something meaningful...keep trying though...you might eventually form a cogent thought in writing.

  • Whatever makes you feel better pal. Ignore the point made, just like the first guy did. Saying something over and over doesn't make it true and ignoring what points others made does not either. Sorry to burst your bubble.

  • I'd imagine that witnessing such a massive display of destruction makes you question God's "plan".

If I was watching the buildings burn and people jumping out of them out of sheer desperation, the last thing I'd want is someone preaching about God and how he will save everyone.

    The soldier was right.

By all means, believe in what you want. But there are times and places to preach.

    This isn't one of them.

"GOD WILL SAVE US ALL! JUST NOT THE PEOPLE IN THE TOWERS!....Here! take a leaflet!" No.

  • save them from going to hell!!!! At least they'll have a good after life.

  • And who saved the people jumping from the buildings, keeping themselves from a slow and painful death?

Technically that's suicide right? Which is a sin according to your ridiculous dogma.

I'd rather have a good life now and not put all my hopes onto something that hasn't even been proven to exist.

Shouting at people at a time like that isn't going to save anyone.

  • couldnt of said my thoughts better

  • did he die?

  • ...but they have guns...and the money...

  • Nazis aren't the ony people who try to stop freedom of speech.

  • I really doubt people praying on their feet for Jesus to fix something will really achieve anything; and taking into mind that no-one knew the soldiers intentions to why he asked him to apparently 'stop', you shouldn't just make a moronic judgement and claim him to be a Nazi.

  • But there's a time and a place to preach, and that is not the time. If you want to believe in god that's fine, but don't try to attracted people like that in a time of chaos. What if you believed in god and I was preaching about how he doesn't exist, would you not be ticked off?

  • guy is trying to "save" people. consider what that means to people like him. he feels like he is doing the highest form of work. it's an absurd human behavior from the modern viewpoint. 100 years ago his pitch would have attracted a large "prayer group" in this moment of crisis, and they might have "saved" a few folks before the debris cloud killed them. On 9/11/01 he stood alone (until security hassled him), while hundreds of rational people literally SAVED themselves by running north.

  • good deeds stand alone. the man was trying to help and saw that so many people were afraid, and probably through his experience with faith, it comforted him in a time of need. so he was trying to send that same peace and comfort to those frightened people on the streets. don't redicule him for standing alone. some people misuse scriptures, but i don't believe this man was doing any harm to any other person, he only put himself in danger. would you save your brother from the wolves out of fear?

  • for GOD and country ! dumb americans

  • owned.

    we shall never forget!

  • lol pwnd by soldier
