I am a Christian but Yes I have prayed 4 things, & not had my prayers answered. I realized later that it was usually because, I had strayed from His ways, was suffering the consequences, reaping what I sowed & then tried the prayer as a quick fix. It didn't work, more than once. What has worked is learning the lesson, changing my sinful way, repenting, picking up my cross & trudging after the Lord. It's not easy, but I've counted the cost & it's worth it.
