  • Another good one Buddy!

  • looking back at this one, this looks alittle off!!, the unburned lighter fluid will probably rot the tire but dont know how long it would take

  • u like to play with fire huh?

  • drill a hole in the tire and install a spark plug, then air the tire up to 100 PSI using propane gas, and ignite the spark plug.

  • Wish i had a dollar for every time had to had to set a bead like that on a semi tire! I caught myself on fire doing it too...that convinced the old man to buy a cheetah

  • haha, what are you trying to accomplish?

  • bead lock so i can blow up the tire with air

  • Nice job. Just remember that lighter fluid is still in there, so be careful taking the tire off. If you take it to a shop to get tire work done, you have to tell them because that could get bad.

  • LOL buy a cheetah air tool before you burn the shit out of your self!

  • axe body spray works in potato guns so i bet it would work for this kind of thing too

  • WD40 works too

  • i've never thought of using charcoal ligher fluid... dont forget boys and girls, when you do this at home, its the kicking that feeds the slower burning fuel enough air to cause the violent expantion to seat the bead. DO NOT kick if you are using starting fluid, you want to get the hell back with that stuff. Also, its best to kick it, not stomp because you could get a toe in there and that could smart a bit

  • i found that carb cleaner works even better! I WILL SMART YOU!!

  • yeah, that's some cool shit, i haven't messed with it since i got an air compressor but its a great way to impress friends and loved ones in a pinch for sure, you can use hair spray and pam and all sorts of stuff, I wonder if the lighter fluid will eat the rubber tho

  • that aint no shit i seen a guy lose 4 fingers cuz he was a lil to slow

  • lmao wow nice vid

  • starting fluid works the best

  • I've never had a problem changing tires on rims with just putting air in them, I've never had to do anything like this to get them to take air or hold air... The tire usually pops twice when I hook it up to my air compressor, but that's it.

  • the problem is i don't own a air compressor because i don't i can't get that burst of air that sets the bead lock. so fire works good for me.. and those are used tires and rims some one dumped in the woods lol

  • ah yeah i guess that makes sense, cool vid tho :)

  • holy crap that was cool

  • What where you trying to do? Just fun with fire or what?

  • tog get a bead lock so i could put air in it

  • Seems like you always have two ways to do something, I like this way best.

  • You should combine your video ideas and dribble a flaming tire.

  • there you go lol

  • when i tried to do that the tire caught fire and it didnt work

  • the trick is to catch the stream of gas coming out of the can on fire and point it at the tire it works better that way

  • Don't you boys go in burn ya self's now ya hear!

  • yesum

  • Dude was fuckin -generous- with that Lighter fluid! damn!! Thats the Artic Tire Change Technique™ as seen on TopGear!

  • now i need to see that topgear!! was it a new video?

  • It was the Top Gear Polar Special. So it wasn't *actually* an episode of one of their seasons. You're familiar with torrents, drop me a PM or an eMail and I can hook you up with the link. Its as big as a normal episode I believe. 800MB or so.

  • lol looks like fun!! fire fire!!

  • hehehe

  • hey use ether next time will pop on itsatantly

  • agreed! My pop taught me that technique when I was 13 years old, ether will get it first time everytime, spray it all the way around the tire (inside) and run a trail out a safe distance(to keep from being decapitated by a flying tire) it works perfectly!

  • its awsome

  • i later used carb cleaner that had ether in it and it worked better

  • dumb as a stick to an old man, hot fun to a kid. tj

  • Comment removed

  • I still prefer the ratchet strap method- its safer then either being set on fire or getting a body part taken off.......

  • Rag on a stick is safer :D

  • I have seen tires fly up about 12 feet or more. you probably should not have your head over the tire while refueling, you might loose it

  • There's nothing like the old stuff. It use to blow the tire up in the air ,and if you used to much,,,,,, look out!!!!

  • The old car starting fliud works better , or old bbq starting fluid . if you can find anything from back in the 70's - 80's , you just have to use a little bit.

  • i later start using carb cleaner it works great

  • lol you are clrazy hahaha

  • hehehe

  • thats one way to get a bead lock , hahahaha , pretty cool flame

  • took a while to get it right but once i did it works great

  • It's not worth doing unless you can get hurt............Good job, Guys

  • amen

  • dude fire:D lol thatt must of been fun but when the fire came up dude got scaerd for a sec im sure lol

  • it was fun hehehe

  • lol hey ever try to make a water gun in to a flamethrower lol just go look it up on youtube
