  • In the devil's ass...

  • Ive seen the guitars he uses cuz miyavi has one like it...

    they're called Headway

  • It's a Greven Dreadnaught Custom.

  • Does any any person know what kind of guitar brand

he use? One of the thing that I know he has

    Takamine KO (kotaro oshio) series.

  • I believe this particular one is a Greven Herringbone. He uses this one quite a lot.

  • Please people who don know how to tune different

just B quiet... By the way for this song String Tune is : DADGAC

  • the tuning GGDGGD is for the song hard rain, not this.

  • We are also going to use tapping. "Tapping?" you say, "What's tapping?" Well, it's a right-hand technique used by rock guitarists. Like this: *taps the hammer-ons*

    This technique is called "tapping."

Ok, from the beginning, shall we. *hums riff*

    Well, let's begin with that.

  • It's my favourite song of (Japanese Composer) Ryuichi Sakamoto. It was first used in the movie of the same name (about British soldiers in a Japanese POW camp during the Second World War). And it does have a very Japanese-esque rhythm, doesn't it. *bangs his guitar*

This rhythm is key to the feel of the song

  • Ok, so the next song is Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Everyone has been requesting this more than anything else. I know what you mean; it's one of those songs that, once you hear it, you want to play it right away.

  • The tuning is DADGAC (the low E is D, A is A, D is D, G is G, B is A and e is C)

    I'll translate it for you:

  • Does anyone know what happened to the awesome live version of him playing the piece?! It was on Youtube a couple of months back, and now I can't find it. Any ideas??? PLEASE HELP

  • Thank you very much for sharing! I'll work on it soon!

  • can some one translate this because i really love this song and wanna learn

  • Download the tabs under the description. You don't really need to understand him. Watch carefully where he places his fingers and with the tabs, it should help you a lot.

  • He's perfect, he's outstanding!!

  • GGDGGD...He's outta site!

  • Actually, no its dadgac; interesting :-)

  • Ok, I don'think the tuning is cagdad. I think its dadgad. Works for me ;-)

  • what style of tuning does he do?

  • i download ur tabs, and not even 1 could be played.... something is wrong..

  • What do you mean? You couldn't view the tab? It's a pdf file so you have to have something to read pdfs.

  • its a piano tab, not a standard guitar tab but its the same thing

  • @AyumiBaka You are probably using standard guitar tuning, which is not the one for this song.

    Standard tuning is: EADGBE.

The tuning you should use for this song is: DADGAC.

Hope I've been any helpful. ^.^"

  • @AyumiBaka don't forget the tuning, it's not the normal guitar tuning, it's DADGAC. hope you could have fun with it :)

  • is this in alternate tuning?

  • it's C-A-G-D-A-D

  • this guy is hilarious i want him as my teacher!

  • Thanks a lot :D saves a lot of time

  • Thanks for posting this man, it helps a lot. =]
