how can someone press dislike. that was schumann should be played: less personal, less perfunctorily, more philosophic, more rational and more divine. exactly such impeccable he is in Telavi every year georgian enormouse festival
i have a great deal of respect for Elisso Virsaladze and her interpretations of every piece she plays. Even tough i might not entirely agree with everything, she is always very convincing
awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so fast... nothing heard... all texture of 16th is lost...and who said that the middle part has to be in different tempo? Oh yea, it's Virsaladze's interpretation...who cares about Schumann's ideas..))
Mr. Marco Cerutti, do you continue to spam everywhere? Isn't it enough you shamelessly promote Giorgi Latsabidze? Do you have to post this garbage about Eliso Virsaladze? Poor Giorgi - he doesn't know who his promoter is...
This is so wonderful. I don't think there is another pianist more in tune with Schumann working today (and that is saying a lot!). I first heard her in Frankfurt in 1988 in a magisterial performance of Chopin op 10 and Schumann Kinderszenen. What was even more special was the encore: the Romanze second movement of the Mozart Bb sonata Kv281 -complete simplicity, marvellous control of tone and great taste.
If you get the chance to hear this pianist live, grab the opportunity.
Incomparable indeed. This is one of the greatest pianists alive and in Schumann she has everything: technique, passion, subtlety, taste....why can't we hear more of her?
great! it should be played in a delirious, feverish way, and that's exactly what she does. I would like to see her HANDS as well as her face, though!!
mi piace questa febbre interpretativa.. quasi un delirio.... Sogno e allucinazione ...
I am melting listening to this.

not that I don't love Horowitz's "not too fast" rendition, but I love the sheer exhilaration of this one

Virsaladze的琴聲層次感相當豐富!
在音很多的情況下,更是明顯展現。
彷彿聲音層層相互包裹著~
有時紮實有時寬鬆~
變幻令人驚艷!!

OK, seriously, when a pianist is playing, it is impolite to pan the piano constantly, and not focus on the hands....well played!

If this is 'Schumanian',then Schumann was first and foremostly interested in typewriting as a raison d'etre.
