@Brengor69 the Epiphone Casino sounds different than the ES-335 or ES-345, the casino sounds more moore like a hollow body guitar which it is, couse it has no wood log in the middle.
I can't really remember the actual setting but I usually set treble at 5 & Bass at 5 with some reverb+delay... the Guitar does actually alot to the sound too...
even though I didn't use one on this tune, you can try a compressor( e.g. OKKO Coca Comp) if you want to improve your sound....hope It was helpful;)
How would you rate your 445 vs your 335 satin? I really want to get a 335 and the satin is beautiful but i want to know what I'm missing out on besides the badass inlays.
besides the better overall look of the ES-345( love those parallelogram inlays & the long pickguard), the sound has alot more tone(like some sort of spice) and the varitone switch gives you a few more cool sounds to chose from. But in the end you could do very well with ES-335 as well. But you have to know that the ES-335 models themself do vary in tone. The more affordable ES-335 Satin has less tone compared to some other ES-335 models like i.e. ES-335 with block inlays...
@johnnybflat What does the varitone do exactly? I've heard people say that it takes away in tone but I'm confused as to what it actually does. And in your opinion, would it be worth it to save up the extra 1000 for the 445? I have a minimum wage job and luckily still living with my parents so it shouldn't take too long.
I guess you guys aren't ready for this yet! But your kids are gonna love it. Thanks for posting love that guitar.
