This is nothing more than a battery. And I doubt it will be as energy dense as commercial batteries.

Also, it wouldn't run "indefinately". It will run as long as there is sufficient electrode material to continue the radox reaction and that there is enough electrolyte (which IS the salt water) to continue the reaction.

I'd trust the duracell more.
