There's now talk of the affected Borough councils in London evicting from council houses those convicted of involvement in the riots! Just HOW is this going to help?! Those evicted won't be able to afford to rent in the private sector,council-run emergency hostel places are full.So we'll just have hordes of homeless people on the streets.And if,as is being suggested,those same people lose their benefits then the situation will just be made worse.A major re-think is needed on this issue!
