So the real holocaust death figure is actually 11 million, not 6. Then there were the 27 million Russians who perished in operation Barbarossa.
Add them up and you get 38 million deaths, compared to 20 million by Stalin. Hitler was far worse. Not to mention what he had planned if he had won the war, on top of that!

@skuterixas91 Wrong. Hitler's body count dwarfed Stalin's. People seem to only remember 6 million Jews, when in actuality there was another 5 million total made up of mostly Gypsies. So the real holocaust death figure is actually 11 million, not 6. Then there were the 27 million Russians who perished in operation Barbarossa.
Add them up and you get 38 million deaths, compared to 20 million by Stalin. Hitler was far worse. Not to mention what he had planned if he had won the war, on top of that!

@PersonalityDeficit87 Stalin is responsible for more deaths than Hitler because he deliberately created a soviet collective style of farming which made people poorer and also deliberately created huge famines in the 1930s because he sold the grain crops. Millions died in these famines. His purges were also operational from the 1930s to his death in 1953, again millions simply disappeared or perished in the camps. Some 12 million people perished in the Nazi concentration camp system during WW2.

Not to mention, like I said earlier, had Hitler won the war he would have put into action his plan to have 40 million Russian slavs murdered. It is one of his secret plans that is unknown because it never came to be. I forgot the book that I read that from.

Compared to the shambles that mafia-run Russia is now, a lot of people in the former USSR see the communist era as something that was at least honest & they knew what they were getting. You can't compare Hitler & Stalin and say one was better/worse than the other. Hitler thought that with his death then Germany must perish too. The man had a personality disorder for sure.

It was a war of race annihilation, and therefore those figures count as well. Hitler = worse
