I didn't use safari download manager cuz it didn't work for me I used "youtube to mp3" even tho the import feature doesn't work for it I used it to Download music and imported it using that pwntube or whatever it was called and used I file to transfer the downloads from "downloads" to "my music". Your method helped a lot thanks!

Cydia advised Pwntunes 'unconfirmed' under ios 5; I thought I would try anyway but it does not work at the moment, I assume because of the changes to iPod / Music.app under ios5.

Hopefully they upgrade this soon.. in the meantime I'm using the music player in iFile.. s'not so bad ;)

Yea only thing is, usually when you download mp3's off the internet, they don't have album covers, they name the tracks by their website and they sometimes put up some stupid album artwork.

@LVA2010 and your running it on an ipod touch 3rd gen? Do you have any music on your computer that you can drag and drop into the My Music and then open the ipod app. It should then import that music. Then try the process of downloading it again. If you still have issues than go into the pwtunes settings and turn reset itunes database on. Only do this if needs sync on, and reset imports on, does not work. This also will delete your itunes-synced music from your device
