You know, it's the way you can whisper with an acoustic guitar, and how it whispers back, that resonance of the body against your chest, or even against your ear, when you put your right ear on the guitar, preferably on its back side.
@DanHadan Héhé, i am the first one to be surprised.I just love every second of it.And the Fender is resting gently in its hard box, for a long time, i am afraid. :)
I was there @ 17, playing w/a band & realized that the audience didn't come to hear people play music, or to hear me play guitar, but rather came to hear loud noise. (Don't get wrong, I'm not saying that all e-guitar music is noise, far from it.) A few months later I was able to get an audience of well over a thousand to become quiet--playing acoustic , finger picking, cords & melody, among others "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" & "Starry night."
But, as you know, I recently bought a copy with Gibson pick-ups. ... Now I'm looking for a decent little amp and some sort of MIDI sequencer, just to fool around some. I only play originals, bluesy, Jazzy stuff, mostly nylon. Ha! Some twenty years ago, on a few occasions, I did play with or rather accompanied another guitar player. You know , easy Gypsy Kings' stuff. Suitable, since at 13 I ran aways to learn Flamenco in Spain, ..., Uh, I never got to Spain though.
Very nice! :)
