Let's see, this race had a four car wreck and no caution thrown. Last years Daytona 500 had a 30+ car wreck and no caution was thrown. You'd still be within the ten day window if you wanted to file an appeal with Nascar.

Kahne had crossed te finish line for the last lap and all the other cars were not really in the way so NASCAR probably wouldn't have called a caution
