  • Betty, you can use a whisk in a bowl to cut up eggs,. it works great. just use a mashing motion and it comes out finely shopped and wonderful.. very quick and easy,. love your shows! happy holidays!

  • I tried this recipe the other day (mainly out of boredom as I work as a chef myself, one thing that caught my eye was that you were pasting the eggs alot, didn't it all just turn out as a... paste? Tasty though, never thought of using honeymustard in my eggsalad. =)

  • Hi Betty, I had the sandwich yesterday. Where did you buy the chips? I could not find them. Did you like them very much or should I stick with potatoe chips?

  • @grandmacheapcheap I got those chips at my regular supermarket, Kroger. They are good for a change, and perhaps a little healthier than potato chips, but potato chips would be great with this sandwich!

  • Hi betty a good tip if you like your egg chopped finely is to simply put all the eggs in the bowl you'll be mixing in and use a fork to break them down,a lot easier and less washing up!

  • Thanks for your nice comment! Do you like green bell pepper or red bell pepper? If not, maybe sweet pickle relish or pimiento. You could use a little green chile, if you like it spicy. If you can't think of something to substitute, you may leave the celery out entirely, and it will still be good.

    did you ever make a 'short tip' video about making your own Mayo?

    Sorry, but you have so much recipes and tips, i can't recall...

I stopped making egg salad because I just did it the simple way which was to boil the eggs in the water, mash them, add mayo and I was done maybe I'll start again. Do you have any recipes for deviled eggs? I'm making them 4 Thanksgiving, but do u have any videos for appetizers?

  • This looks so delicious Betty! Everything you make I get a craving for..lol. I will have to try this recipe this weekend. We love sandwiches around her for lunch on the weekends. Chicken salad is big around here..do you have a great recipe for that one by chance? Also, I think it was Martha Stewart I got this from..but, I find that a pastry blender does a wonderful job on cutting boiled eggs into small pieces. TY for all the yummy recipes:)

  • Ive never thought of using honey mustard but I may have to give that a try. The bacon you added to yours gave me a idea. Egg salad and bacon on a toasted english muffin would make a great breakfast sandwich. Thanks for sharing with us Betty.

  • Thanks Betty, egg salad is a favorite of mine.. I like to add the green olives with pimento. Or, some fresh dill chopped up is good in there too:)
