  • Nice job Jim!!!!

Not sure how I missed this one.. but you did a terrific job demonstrating. Hope all is well there Bro.. Blessings

  • that is an awesome knife i just thought it was like a regular knife until i saw that it was also a chisels that's pretty cool

  • thanks this was great!

  • Well done you got fire. To me the size of your bow is overkill & the bump is robbing energy from you. The other thing is the loose leaf near cost you your coal. I prefer a piece of wood just wide enough to catch it especially if a bit punky. Remember if it is cold (it always seems to be here) seconds count. If you can't touch index to thumb your in big trouble. Tossdart

  • Isn't it amazing how many ways there are to do the same thing? The best video I have ever seen on this is the Woods Master Vol#2 "spark based fire making" by Ron Hood....absolutely fantastic! Also check out anything by Alan Halcon, he can get a coal in 6.5 seconds!

  • thanks for the vid, very informative, i plan to try this sometime, thanks again.

  • u need to make a video of how much better and faster you can do it.

  • If you go to my site & look at playlists camping, look for bow & drill one. I have a video I made especially for persons that wrote me on how I am a puter geek & never saw a bow drill.
