  • Thank you for u help I will check that place out and see if I can get an answer :( this is really stress full

  • One but now keppra is too much for me, I'm not the same hypper person I use to be

  • @Memt1982 It sounds like you are having grand mal (or tonic clonic, which is the new name for them) seizures. This means your entire brain is involved instead of just one section. I have had about 3 in my life, and yes, they are pretty freaky. You may also want to contact the National Epilepsy Foundation, they help you find doctors and help nearest to you, although if you're like me and live in the middle of nowhere, that sometimes doesn't do much) More than anything, they have been there just

  • @choirgrrl to listen to me cry on occasion, That sympathetic ear can make all the difference sometimes. I'm just curious, keep in touch and let me know if it all works out for you.

  • Thanks mama, yes is really hard, I been waiting to see the neurologist but nothing yet:(, well about my seizures my girlfriend said both of them were the same , I will shake, my body will get stiff, I will loss consciousness, and then the next thing I remember I'm in a hospital :/ , is pretty stress full, the first time they put me on delantin I didn't mind that

  • Hi I'm going thru this problem right now, I just had my first seizure on may 26 and I just had another one on august 10, I went to the hospital with both but the still can't tell me what's wrong with me, they put me on keppra 1000 ml a day, I don't like it :(, I been searching in different web pages and I'm coming down to the conclusion of the same type of epilepsy u have, I just feel lost, nervous, sad. I can't drive or be by my own. just scared !!!!

  • @Memt1982 It is very difficult to adjust to a life of assistance when you've been independent. Not being able to drive was- and still is- the hardest thing I've had to adapt to. As far as going to the hospital, I've learned there, sadly, is very little they can do for you there. You need to see an actual neurologist, and you need to get on a different medication. As I mentioned, Keppra and I did NOT get along at all. I am currently on Tegretol, which for me has no side effects, but does not

  • @choirgrrl completely control my seizures. For me, it seems to be one or the other. Keppra is one that is known to cause major issues with many people, so if it is not agreeing with you, contact a doctor immediately and let them know what is going on. (Rage and suicidal thoughts are very common with it) You did not mention the types of seizures you have, but if you want to send me a message and describe one I can tell you what type it was. In fact, anything you need, even if only to vent,

  • @choirgrrl you can message me here. I know how it feels to not know much and feel helpless against it. However, once you learn about it and get some control, life gets easier, and your emotions with it will begin to lean more to acceptance than fear. At least, that's how it worked for me. Hang in there. Any questions, anything, please feel free to contact me.

  • you really need a better camera

  • Eh.
