Awesome!!! I saw RATM at Glastonbury in the early 90s and they were amazing, 20 years later I'm at this gig and they were even better. One of the best gigs of my life
sure 70 euro is nothing for a gig that'll remain in your memories for the rest of your life. not only did you get the best band in the world today, but you also got the gallows who were pretty awesome and then Gogol Bordello who were fuckin amazing! 70 euro was bargain price really. i mean look at that crowd!! haha best fuckin gig ever!! never to be forgotten :) i hope they come back someday
rage dont set the ticket prices its the music label etc. their free gig in london quite clearly made the label charge more at this gig. id pay a grand to be at this gig again, best night of my life.
@ChrisMUFC9000 It was €65 into westlife in croke park,so why are people making such a big deal about the €70?Thats the min any band is looking for nowadays. And why are people so begrudging of the wealth of successful bands? If u dont want to support a band, then dont buy their albums and dont buy their tickets.Theres loads of shite pub acts u can go and see in dublin every weekend for free.the only thing u'll waste a one of those gigs is your time.
@dessiefish Hold on 40 quid into kasabian... This has nothing to do with supporting a band, i happily paid the 70 quid, its the nerve zack had to mouth on about money when they charged us 70 quid in!
@ChrisMUFC9000 You have to work with the framework you're given. In this case, unfortunately, it's capitalism. If they didn't charge, you'd never have heard of them, because they would have petered out long, long ago. The message reaching the masses is the goal. The framework is the unfortunate but necessary tool to facilitate this.
my sister and her mate were in the balcony block a and the balcony was shuddering from both the people below and those in the balcony.most amazing gig ive seen in dublin in 25years.awesome
