  • The result couldn't be anything but yes. If they had voted "no" a hundred times they would still be voting. Anything else would require something like democracy in the EU.....

  • Ireland voted yes after they voted wrong the first time according to the E.U now thats something to be a part of is it not wow thats democracy

  • @itsayellowfig lol....

  • @itsayellowfig Assume.. makes an ass out of you and me.. ever heard that.

As for you assurance.. well, if it's like your assurance you were not going to reply again... and then failed miserably by instantly replying ..... stop for laughter..... then your assurances don't stand for much

But hey, let's see if you can do it this time.

As for my profile, your obsessed.... I should take it as a compliment really.

And, if you really do mean 'goodbye' this time.. then bye.

  • @itsayellowfig See, your so easy to wind up... and really, you need to calm down, if you can't play the 'long' game then you really shouldn't try.

As for the type of argument, which you seem to be referring, well, I think telling someone they should be 'executed' and bringing up Hitler, as if it had something to do with the debate, is just, odd.

Saying that, it meant, I understand your confusion from the beginning.. and yes, sorry, but you are getting mad.. just read back through your posts.

  • @itsayellowfig Bless.. you have no idea how I am laughing at you.. you never learn, I mean, sure, you have said some really stupid/dumb things... however, now just copying and pasting.. man your gonna go far...

    Well, not that far.

  • @itsayellowfig That's the point, you don't think.... never mind, I did try..

  • @itsayellowfig you are indeed doing both... thanks again

    keep typing

  • @itsayellowfig it's great to see you using my lines.. I feel good, thanks.

it is my honour.... to educate

  • @itsayellowfig as I said copying is the greatest compliment.. thanks

  • @itsayellowfig ah, no.. it's the need go justify, a self doubt and a need to belong and seen to be right.

see, you were right, I should have been a psychologist, although I am guessing you will now state the opposite..

    wink.....

  • @itsayellowfig I failed? lol.. yet you replied... see what I did there.

copying is a great compliment, thanks

  • @itsayellowfig but I am controlling you.. as when you said you would not reply, you did.. however I already knew you would.

and again, you never learn, I feel no need to justify the status of my profile to you.. you can assume what you like.. assuming is for fools...

therefore, need I say more. lol

  • @itsayellowfig again.. you made the biggest mistake by feeling you needed to justify yourself.

You are quite correct, I am right, I was right about you..

as for being a child, I could list your child like statements, quote your angry rants, only children do that..

still, nice try... glad your not angry ;-)

  • @itsayellowfig hahaha aha aha

It's hilarious that you think I am going to justify myself, your so predictable.. which is

why I knew when you said you had finished engaging.. you would not..

the rest of your text, is just over emotive anger (definitely at yourself) and again I feel no need to reply.

I am just to good... can't wait for your installment, or are you actually going to keep to your conviction of no longer engaging... I am guessing not..

  • @itsayellowfig .. oops, you did it again. Shows, I am afraid that you very angry.

see, if you were not angry, you would not have replied once you had told me you wouldnt.

    Cheesy? lol

  • @itsayellowfig mmm... no... can't you see I am playing with you? making you reply on my command... your so easy, it's a little bit like taking 'candy from a child'

after all, you decided not to engage (your words), and still continue.. I am just too good.

  • @itsayellowfig Ah, see you are learning, you used 'probably' - see there is hope.. wrong, but, then again.. well I will let you finish the sentence.

  • @itsayellowfig I did, you just didn't understand it.. so, I really can't help you..

Follow the advice I gave, and you may not get so upset.

And it's really telling, that you cant even stick with your own convictions, as in, no longer engaging, your words not mine. I may have had a little bit more respect for you....

  • @itsayellowfig no, don't think I will.. thanks anyway.

  • @itsayellowfig er... great, intelligent, confident, correct.....

    ooh, I like this game..

  • @itsayellowfig Bless, yes I think it would be good idea to stop engaging.

Learn the Difference between 'collapse' and 'crisis' and leave 'Hitler' out of it, it just makes you sound desperate, and really, in-future, don't be child like by telling someone they should be executed..

Then, you may not get such a bashing on here..

    peace out...

  • @itsayellowfig I have already proved the kind of person you are - statements like, 'you should be executed, and I mean that' shows your level of your intelligence.

You got it wrong about Greece, Ireland, Portugal, they haven't collapsed.

You were stupid enough to call an entire country as stupid, remember your classic line about Iceland.

You then, (after talking about economics in the 20th century) ask me if Hitler should be executed... HELLOOO!! anyone there..

I am bad, for enjoying this.

  • @itsayellowfig Amusement is part of the talent.

Disproved, you haven't provided any proof, you stated that Greece/Ireland/Portugal had collapsed, see, if you can't get simple facts right you need to go away and read.

Do I think Hitler should have been executed? what a strange question, I mean from your own Statement I should have been executed, are you now thinking that I am the same as Hitler? lol

So, start being accurate and you wont get so annoyed..

    Are you a BNP supporter?

  • @itsayellowfig It's hard not be cocky with you, every reply seems to throw you. And yes, I am more intelligent than you, a bright person would not have stated in his first text's that I needed to be executed, so yes, it's like talking to a child. You brought it on yourself, sorry.

And, no, I don't want to google Dunning-Kruger effect.

You are actually the best advert for the yes to Europe campaign. lol

  • @itsayellowfig Let's try again, the currency has NOT collapsed, see, who is spurting out hot air? they are in economic crises, there is a major difference, it's quite telling that you mixing the two up.

it's really simple, to protect European businesses, we need the backing of the block, with China undercutting our businesses, it means that European businesses cannot compete, it's happening now. So, again, we need to be a strong powerful block to play on the big stage

    It couldn't be clearer.

  • @itsayellowfig Bullshit? well, let me remind you, you just called an entire country 'stupid'. And, which country in your understanding has collapsed? are you telling me that Greece and Ireland have collapsed? come on, there's good economist, tell me.. or perhaps you realise now that Europe has nothing to do with their economic 'crisis'. Given Iceland's crises was created outside of the Union.

But, unlike you, I am looking at the future bigger picture. You just seem to be on one level, shame.

  • @itsayellowfig yes, and this was predicted even before they joined that Interest rates would be a problem.. Some economics predict, and it makes sense, that this downturn in some economies will make the Union stronger in the future as smaller economies adjust their economies, their spending and borrowing to adjust. A prediction that is coming true today.

I can't really elaborate without using the same words, as it makes perfect sense.

Seem's the EU or the USE is the way.

  • @itsayellowfig 40% of our trade is with Europe, and I can tell you now, and it's documented on here, the Euro zone is not going to fail, the Union wont allow it. Greece and Ireland and Portugal and Spain to a lesser degree was a victim of greedy capitalism, not Union. And fact, even without the Euro zone or union, their economies would have still been in trouble - and a lot worse as at least in the Union they were bailed out.

    Simple economics really.

  • @itsayellowfig Ok, let's look at democracy, you vote for a party to make the difficult decisions, but, in the main, those decision's are for the home countries best interests. They realise that the world is changing, and smaller countries will die or be consumed by the up and coming powers to the easy (china/india) etc.

Iceland is stupid then, you see, you look foolish, the bigger picture is that those countries need to join a major trading block, to protect itself and it's industry.

  • @itsayellowfig Ah, I see where you going wrong with this.

You have mistaken the difference between an aggressively forced federation, driven by fascism and it's Regime, to a calm and uniting union of nations. There is a massive difference.

As for your second point, again, confusing the Euro Zone with capitalism, for example, is Iceland in the Euro zone? No, but guess what, they still hope to be in 2012.

Says a lot, for a country that is broke, and who is bailing these countries out........

  • @itsayellowfig and your point? I watch it with pride, I love the UK, what it stands for.. and that wont change when this inevitable loose federation, or even full federation happens, we will still have our queen, probably a veto, still speak English and still be called British.

Time to see the realities of the future.....

  • @itsayellowfig That reply was utter dribble, purely emotive rubbish, and does not deserve a reply.

  • @itsayellowfig Exactly, and in-fact you are making my point for me, of course they are not comparable, because the change hasn't happened, so a bit of a obvious statement.

I want Europe to be powerful to safeguard individual states, as a federation, European business would be protected and our say in the world increased dramatically.. Luckily I can see in more than one dimension.

And, why would it destroy nation states, the states in the US have different laws? answer yes.

  • @itsayellowfig Evidence, the United States, a collaboration of States, that made it the most powerful nation on earth, it military the most effective and it's influence the most listened to. Although, it's power is diminishing it will still be a formidable nation. In Europe, we tend to be ineffectual in the world as our foreign policies differ, our armed forces differ in abilities and natural ties to previous colonies shape with mismatch of policies.

    Where was your proof?

  • @itsayellowfig Bless - you spent your entire text on assumptions.. but then again, when I said I could play you like a card... I just did.. you really should learn.

Funnily, in my job, I have to deal with people in 'explosive' situations on a daily basis, of course, you choose to believe that or not.. But, equally, I don't even feel I need to explain myself to... Another difference.. I don't feel the need to be 'seen' as right.

But, I did try and help you.

  • @itsayellowfig lol.. you see, I can play you like a card....

Perhaps you were wrong, I maybe a psychologist, appears I am too good at it.

So whilst I am laughing at your reply, and feeling a little bit sorry for you and your insecurities.. I am afraid looking foolish is something I can't help you with.

My points still stand, of which you have no answer.

    You must do better

  • @itsayellowfig See, you couldn't do it could you, far too emotive and not enough substance. And, your right, I should change my job, psychologist sounds good, given I sussed you out straight away.

Now, if you want to add anything meaningful to the debate, please feel free to do so. Your failure to realise to what the future holds is not my fault.

As I previously said, grow up and think before you write.

  • @itsayellowfig funny how your arguing about power, when my point is about losing a lot of it to Europe.

Your getting over emotive, a sign of frustration in ones self, well I can't help you there, but I can explain one thing, I am very proud of my country, it's service men and woman who fought against the tyrants of facism and won.

This collaboration/federation of nations would not have been possible without their sacrifice.

Now, grow up, and think before you write next time

  • You mean bullied into voting yes the SECOND time around

  • good. in 30-50 years, Europe will retain its lost glory

  • hahaha slantyrock ur a mug

  • the irish fought for independance for years and then threw it away the stupid fenian cunts. VOTE UKIP fuck the eu

  • WHERE ARE THE JOBS NOW?

  • and how they will cheer the shackles of their own slavery

  • That one needs a good ride

  • They have already voted no , wtf is it with two bastarf votes , fcking rigged or what , when will we in the uk get a vote , i cant tell you , when the BNP get in we will get out of the eu

  • Ireland has its own language? well you do learn something new everyday.

  • how can u have 2 votes!?

ok give the irish a 3d vote then. since u gave them another one when they already voted NO!

    what the hell is this!!!!?????

  • @Alba12349 At least they are not stalling anymore.

    hb151

  • Oh yeah, blame Ireland for voting yes to Lisbon in an IRISH referendum.I didn't see the British people starting a revolution over not being allowed to vote.

  • If your parliament didn't want to ratify the Treaty they could have voted it down. The British people elected the Parliament and Parliament ratified the Treaty so why are you blaming the Irish. Shouldn't you reserve your verbal garbage for your fellow citizens. By the way if you want to stop the Irish and other Europeans from entering the UK, the only way would be to leave the EU but nobody bar the looney fringe is advocating that.

  • @padraigomairtin 638 of our 646 MPs were elected on the promise of a referendum, and we didn't get one.

  • @Anteater1234567 The promise was on the European Constitution not the Lisbon Treaty. However, a referendum is a good idea but it's very British. In the British system parliament is supreme to the extent that UK parliament would only be morally bound by a referendum not legally bound as in Ireland. The Irish constitution automatically triggers a referendum when there is any transfer of sovereignity. The absense of one document called the UK constitution means that there is no such safeguard.

  • @padraigomairtin Anyone who maintains that the Lisbon Treaty and the European Constitution are substantially different is in cloud cookoo land.

Quite true about the lack of a UK constitution, though I fear that were one written it would resemble the constitutional texts of the EU, which are inappropriate for a constitution, rather than the exemplary US constitution.

  • @Anteater1234567 I agree the Treaty and the Constitution are similar and if you promise to hold a ref on the Constitution, you should really do so on the Treaty too. However, referenda aren't really a British thing. The UK parliament can make substantial changes to the UK constitution (Reform of Parliament, Establishment of Supreme Court etc) without any reference to the people. These things are impossible in Ireland. Our Constitution can only be amended by the People.

  • @padraigomairtin

I don't think that our constitution in the UK is a good one, and for all intents and purposes, Labour and the Lib Dems went back on election promises.

  • you idiot. its not irelands fault. blame the eu. they did all they could to convince people that the treaty was good.

how can u have two refferendums!? they already voted no!

  • Yeah right.

  • A landslide victory for the yes side! Thank you Irish for seeing through anti-EU lies!!

  • The EU will crumble one day. You people honestly believe that the whole population for Europe will go along with your project. With every treat, opposition to European expansionism increases. My Irish countrymen and women may be incredibly cowardly, but other nationalities will destroy your disgusting aspirations.

The funny thing about it is that you know it. Not everyone is fooled.

  • moron

  • You're the idiot. You have to be if you believe the EU will survive forever. It will NEVER even become a Federal State. This treaty was almost shot down. Others will be even if we are not the people who do it. Do you honestly think hundreds of millions of people will accept a united states of Europe? You, sir, are a fool.

  • Comment removed

  • a bunch of sellout tritors. enjoy tony the war criminal blair as your new president.

  • Get them told celtbhoy88. They CAN'T SEE or HEAR but that's their choice. I aint even Irish but I CARE ABOUT MY FELLOW MAN with all my heart regardless of colour, class or religion for that's all superficial BS.

My father was a child refugee from EASTERN GERMANY so I know full well what THEY done to him and his family as they killed his Culture. Stole his pride, home, lands, heritage, family business AND NAME etc. I'll never forgive that for I felt his pain throughout his entire lifetime.

  • you said it mate.

  • Ha ha ha ha, it is good to know that those American neo-con shit heads, spent all their money on the anti lisbon movement for nothing, HA HA HA HA. Good for Ireland. Fuck off anti EU cry babies.

  • yyeeeessss...

GO FUCK YOURSELVES ANTI EU LUNATICS!

  • so its finally happened, the irish have shown what weak, pathetic, sheepish idiotic people they are and have fallen for this scam. thank you all you so called "irish" who voted yes, you have just put a bullet in the back of your fellow countrymen and europeans heads. fucking CUNTS!!!

  • go cry in the corner

  • what, like you and all the bastard politians did when we one the 1st time. there should never have been a 2nd refarendum, can you not see how ignorant and disgusting it is to do that? i mean, how can the government just bend rules like that? are you proud of being froma country that does that?

  • There are no rules about how many refarendums a country can have, hell we voted on divorce 2 or 3 times.

  • but when we got the NO vote, it was completely legit, thats what im trying to say, then they came up with a bullshit excuse saying "there was disinformation on both side or the argument" what a load of rubbish.

  • Irish people made a very sophistcated decision. And this disrespect you are showing to them only discredits you and whole antiLisbon position you support.

    Disgusting.

  • oh yeah, very sophisticated " YOUR ALL GOING TO BE POOR IF YOU DONT VOTE YES!!!!" heard everyday on tv and radio, while the anti lisbon campaign gets close to no media attention. its very easy to scare people, theres nothing sophisticated about that, its just sick.

  • I agree slanty, but we didnt all cave and vote yes. But it'll be interesting to see how in 20 years time the Irish react to having soldiers conscripted into the EU Army to go and fight in Afghanistan, or indeed how they react to having their door kicked in at midnight by the EU Gendarmerie for daring to criticise the now badly ageing President Blair.

  • well said my friend, facsim is back with a blast.

  • tinfoil hat time?

Go away you are embarrassing yourself in front of the internet.

  • What's with the tinfoil hats? Seems MENTAL that anyone would want to be Governed by MASS MURDERING TONY BLAIR! He's a War Mongering Fascist Bastard. My mate left the Home Office because THEY told the British Government NOT to go into Iraq but Tony Blair and his Greedy pals over ruled them.

They trade Bombs & Bullets for Babies you ignoramuses. Yeah it's alright it's not happening on our doorstep... What you got short term memory loss? Or is it just selective? Fuck the millions who've perished?

  • Also you want to check out what the U.N. have done to Farming & Fish Stocks throughout the Globe. They're Killing our Seas... Yeah right they're gonna take care of Ireland because Ireland can't take care of itself... Too embarrassing really!!! The Messiah eh? The Savior? More like the Anti-Christ.

The German people bought a DREAM once too and look what happened to them... A little bit of History repeating don't you think? Or is that the issue "DON'T YOU THINK?".

  • Laugh Now!!!

Wait until INFLATION goes through the roof... And what you have is worth NOTHING!? TAX is at an all time high. INTEREST RATES are at their max. You can't piss for fear of being charged. And you wake up one morning knowing YOU SOLD YOUR SOUL TO THE MAN AS YOU'RE NOW DANCING WITH THE DEVIL in what was supposed to be a FREE WORLD!!!

The YES vote was only good for your FAT, GREEDY, MASONIC, LEADERS... Not your PEOPLE... Tell it to the kids of the future for it's them who'll pay.

  • hurr durr hurrr

    Stop being crazy

  • As always the uninformed attack what they don't or can't be bothered understanding. I mean what's the U.N. done for any of it's members to date? Do you see a better world? Let's not forget the U.N. was created after Nazi Germany (supposedly) fell and Israel was created to evoke havoc in the Middle East today. Yip the 'Nazis' put on a New Mask on behalf of the 'Unholy Roman Empire'.

U have a lot to learn! In due course when you're on your arse you'll awaken because that PAIN WILL make it so.

  • Say hi to Jim Corr for me at your next nutjob meeting please.

  • If you do your homework you'll know the banks only have 3% tangible MONEY which mean there is NO MONEY (Paper), ONLY DEBT. You're an asset with DEBT as they'll take the LOT... They specialize in SOULS.

He who hold the Money Bags runs the Nation.

SATAN IS GETTING EXACTLY WHAT SATAN WANTS AND LIKE LITTLE LAMBS THE PEOPLE ARE LINING UP FOR THE SLAUGHTER.

You'll ALL SEE in due course just how things have been manipulated to fulfill a MASTER PLAN. It's the 'Totalitarian Tip-Toe' now get in line.

  • didnt u hear Jim corr is in his bunker since lsibon passed, hes afaird of the german tansk that r rolling though dublin and the mantadory abortions or irelands 1st born females!!

  • Delighted

  • well done Ireland. You have used common sense, and the Irish are a bright and thoughtful bunch.

They have realised, just as we the UK should, that are future voice in the world is with the power and might of the European Union, and a federal one at that.

China - the next Hyperpower, and India will be taking their place in the world of leading nations, and we as individual states/countries will not have a strong enough say..

Europe is all of our future. get used to it.

  • @easy1355 The UK is the 4th military power, it is one of the 5 UN security council members, it is one of the G8. How is having a 9% share of the vote in Europe giving it a stronger say in the world than independently. One only needs to see the influence of Norway's diplomatic services to see that what you say is bunkum, nonsense.

If what you argued were true, why aren't NZ and Australia merging, or the states of South America? Of course, it isn't true, it is nonsense of the highest order.

  • @Anteater1234567

It's funny you should mention NZ and OZ, as they have been indeed talking about a merger....

Secondly, the nonsense is only coming from you.. you fail to realise in the new world order, and it's coming, that we will need to have a bigger voice and protection in the world, China is the new superpower, how did you ever believe that we as one nation, sway either politically or financially a power that will dwarf us

I think you need to learn about the world, before commenting

  • @easy1355

    1. And it has been categorically ruled out

    2. There is nothing new about this new world order. For 18 of the last 20 centuries, China has had a larger economy than any other country in the world

There are approximately 200 states in the world. Britain is 6th in terms of GDP. Do you seriously think that there isn't room for 6 countries in the world to be significant?

We don't have a say in the EU, as one of its biggest countries we only get 9% of its vote, and we've lost our veto too.

  • @Anteater1234567

You are very naive, let's start, firstly China has not had a larger economy than any other country, China is still behind us, economically, but the point is the growth of it's market's the strength of it's currency and dominance as the next world power, also increasing as a next power is India.

As for significant, we will lose our voice in the world without the strength of europe, after all, the USA is a country of states, and it's power has been dominant ever since.

  • "no More referendums" ........clearly did read the traty did ya?

the treaty may be amended only in line with the constiunal requirements of the individual member states. I.E in ireland that is a REFERENDUM!!!!!!!

  • "We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it.

The only question is whether World Government will be achieved

    by conquest or consent."

  • Stepping stone to a Federal Europe?

    ...

    ...

    ...

    I fucking hope so! :P

  • assholes, fuck lisbon, and fuck the sell outs.

  • i can see from your profile that you are not only a bloody nationalist but also a racist.

EVERONE IGNORE celtsbhoy he is from Northern Ireland and really has nothing to do with the republic.

    /facepalm

  • Your point is?

  • Keyboard Warrior i meant online activism lol i get what you meant know i don't think i fully understood the definition of keyboard warrior in till now.

  • I went through the treaty myself and I found nothing wrong with it, its people like you that use scaremongering tactics because you are xenophobic and seem to prefer nationalism. I can guarantee you only one thing, and that is that your position is what caused many of the conflicts on this earth.

  • watch?v=nGe7n9j4_3g

  • Great Link Thanks. It's ALL in a book called 'Conspirators' Hierarchy: Story of the Committee of 300' by John Coleman... The latest printed version is hard to find (no surprise) but is available online for anyone who want's to know where this is all going... Leaders & Slaves.

They can ALL go to fuck as far as I'm concerned. Don't play the GAME. We're not here to be dictated to. One day soon they'll all get theirs for putting their own selfish interests before those whom they're paid to serve.

  • A good day for Ireland and a good day for the EU

  • It's a sad day for Ireland and the world.

    Brian, 17, Ireland
