This is the story of an incredible young lady whose plight stole my heart and whose strength and resilience gained my admiration. I soon discovered that I wasn't the only one moved by the story of Mary-Louise. Our entire community rallied behind her in support as did others from miles away. Her story is a testament of how people can be there for each other.
I love Mary-Louise dearly. She truly my best friend. She has taught me to never give in on myself. Mary-Louise is such a beautiful girl. From fun late nights with her at the football games to scary late nights at the hospital wondering what is gonna happen to my best friend next.
