As a queer man (have never been gay), I can appreciate and understand female beauty, though my idea of beauty is more like kd lang or Lea Delaria. I don't quite get the appeal of femmes, male or female. ;) (and while I appreciate that aesthetics and attraction CAN be separate, in my case they pretty much coincide. I can't see why Nicole Kidman or Jake Gylenhall are attractive, for example...I accept that other people do...).

@divisionmagus I think fascism is an economic doctrine more than anything. People who place too much emphasis on the personality aspect are missing the point. Hitler was a compelling person, sure. But his initial chief appeal to his people was the economic salvation he promised to a country that had been marginalized and shamed.
