I thought of Jason today when I heard of Ron Patterson's death, because we (Jason and I; never met Patterson) met at a RenFaire in the late 80s. I think I remember his first painful stabs at playing the accordion, on Grove St in SF.
Here's to playing it so seemingly effortlessly now. Not even looking at your fingers, or the camera! Except that sly happy look at the end.
Thanks! I used a Kodak Zi6, a pocket video cam that looks like a cell phone, and brightened up the video a bit with the brightness-contrast tool in iMovie.

This accordion sounds and looks like a Hohner Pokerwork but the gold pattern is missing and has 12 bass buttons.

It has 12 bass buttons because it was customized by Jehan Paul, the previous owner and also a great accordionista.
