  • I like to figure about 35 dollars per mix. Each mix covers 40 square feet of shell. It is the same if you are doing 2 to 4 embedded layers, the LFC style, or just a coat or two over expanded metal lath. Even with all the fancy ingredients, this mix should be about the same or cheaper than the good ole 1 cement and 2 sand mix which is also plenty strong but this mix makes much more material. Also, no shrinkage and the shell is protected for good by the closed cell aeration.
