  • this is not punk rock dude, this is straight rock n roll, if mick hears this he'll get pissed off im positive.

  • gorączka sobotniej nocy :)

  • Slightly longer than the album version.Great.Even when they weren't really trying the Stones could still do it at this stage. But from Undercover onwards they were pretty much crap.Love 'em but 'tis true.

  • Best song by the Stones

  • According to some sources a similar "thermo" promo video was made for 'Down In The Hole', does anyone have it?

  • Love the little drum intro, great bass, great song

  • i think this would of been a great song if it had better lyrics

  • I always loved this song. Love Bill's bass, the guitar solo (and the solo here is longer than on the album), Charlie's syncopated drumming after the solo, Mick's Cockney accent. This video is 35 seconds longer than the song on the album. Never understood why people don't like this song.

  • Another never-heard song from Emotional Rescue! The graphics look like something from the movie Predator! Love it!

  • great song

  • Stones do Sham 69.

  • I was so into this album in 1980....

  • love this song and the band during this era, however this video is annoying. would have loved to see at least some "real" footoage....waste.

  • Lydon does commercials for english butter. whatever?

  • punk rock!!! :)

  • It's comical how these young bucks argue the merits of punk, when in reality, punk was over by 1980. Now it's just another branch on the hard rock--rock and roll tree, which can be traced back to the Stones (and then of course, Elvis and Jerry Lee). If you think the Stones aren't part of that--you've got some schooling to do--but then, they probably don't teach you that in Guitar Hero.

  • I'm 22. look at all my video favs.

  • que grandes!!!!! hasta haciendo musica punk son unicos, igual es la mejor banda de rock and roll of world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Most of you dont know shit...Malcolm Maclaren used to take the Pistols to see Keith and Ronnie in the New Barbarians to learn 'attitude'....also the Saints (Brisbane band before the Pistols) when they arrived in London showed the punks up because you had to follow their fashion....dont get me wrong..I love the Pistols but their attitude was more against what was happening in London at the time ..ie Thatcherism blah blah ps its always been cool to knock the Stones it gets you street cred (yawn)

  • for a little piece of cunt!!

  • Who gave the thumbs down??? That's exactly what he says at the end of the song, lol...Read the lyrics...

  • u all seem big stones fans here, the stones in the park concert 69 when the butterflies are let out what song is that ? and is it on a album?

  • The song is "I'm Yours And I'm Hers" aka "I'm Yours, She's Mine" written by Johnny Winter and not included on STONES album.

  • thanks ,pity is hasnt been record

  • i read an article that ranked the 50 greatest stones songs and they had a seperate thing that said this was one of the worst....i wonder why? i love this song

  • agreed...emotional rescue is really a good l.p., despite the critics :)

  • Who plays the solo? Some say Ronnie trying to imitate Keef, but I strongly believe Keef, archetypical style of him.

  • thanks heaps, a long search has ended! Love this song, the best on emotional rescue.

  • By punkers do you mean like the Sex Pistols a brain child of MALCOLM, or the Clash a band whose previous members flirted with all different kinds of "POP" music?Because I think this is as raw as any of that pre-fabricated BULLSHIT!

  • LOL they were trying to punkers!

  • bricklanebetty,the stones INVENTED punk.

  • no, punk has nothing to do with being rich jetsetter that courts the aristocracy and plays criket. hate to break it to you. The Who, the 13th floor elevators, mc5 but not the stones!

  • bricklane,I,m speaking more of musical style than life style.pete townshend got his windmill guitar move from KEITH!syd vicious was trying to look like KEITH! as far as punk fashion goes.before the stones got rich, they were boys of the london streets, but their musicianship got them paid.

  • I don't agree at all. Punk was an anti-money culture ,proud to ugly and anti royal family created by very lower class performers. Read Lydon's bio, he hates Jagger.

The windmill is not a music style it's a physical movement. This song is emabarrasing but I did wear out my casstte tape of emotinal rescue so what can i say? It was cool when I was 13

  • Betty,as you can plainly see in my last comment,I said"windmill guitar MOVE".and lydon hating jagger has nothing to do with syd trying to look like keith.if you get a chance, listen to respectable, lies, neighbors, summer romance, and RIP THIS JOINT!the stones showed the wannabe punks how it was done.

  • Lydon hates everybody. That's not saying much.

  • never had the money and I never had the class

But I always seemed to get myself a Saturday night piece of ass.

  • They could have a better with this clip.......however this is an extreme rarity that i have been chasing for quite some time.

  • Thanks for posting this. One of my favorite tracks off ER. Too bad the video is easily the Stones' worst!

  • Does anyone have the "Down In The Hole" video?

  • thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best songs from emotional rescue like she's so cold, all about you, dance and indian girl.

  • Thank you so much. I've been looking for this video in a long time.
