  • love the film but this music is so out of place!!

  • I liked the movie, but it never explained who Indrid Cold was , or where the name comes from. Or did it, and I just missed it?

  • Comment removed

  • @xvoy2002 In the book the movie is based off of, Indrid Cold was human looking and claimed he was from another planet. John Keel points out how the entities that play their little games on mankind use the 'name game' where they choose a name with a meaning. There was a complicated clue behind Indrids name. But the movie made Mothman and Cold both the same being, this was done to make the movie flow better as most of the accounts in the book have very odd links to eachother.

  • @reddalek555 THAT,, is very odd!

  • Sure enjoy that movie!! Spooky!!

  • nicely done... good choice

  • This was a weird but kick-ass movie.

  • Nice song choice.

  • This is one of my alltime favorite movies

  • does mothman actually show in this movie???

  • this movie was made on mothman.mothman was starting to disappear after the bridge collapse by less sightings

  • I just saw it today..Is this movie based on a true story ?

  • Yes. I just bought the book today. It's written by John A. Keel, and it has the same title as the movie.

  • OmG ! Y did he call hisself Indrid Cold, or Cole or sumthin ? That's hard 2 let the mind comprehend as truth .. Man this world is insane.. Do u think he's from space and his purpose is 2 do good cuz sum people believe he's the cause of missin people, includin 3 little boys sum time ago ?

  • I haven't gotten a chance to read the book yet, but from what I can gather from Wikipedia and some other websites dedicated to The Mothman Prophecies, Indrid Cold was not John Keel, nor was he the "Mothman." I also gathered from the websites that the movie and the book differed quite substantially from one another. I would suggest reading the book, or at least go to some websites dedicated to the eye witness accounts of what happened. Remember, the movie is BASED on true events.

  • Yeah I guess ur right, I mean Holly Wood can't even stick 2 a person's biography without overexaggeratin lol.. Thanx

  • 3 months since you wrote your comment

so im hoping youve read the book since that day you got it lol

    i was just wondering

because ive got really interested in it now

and was planning on getting the book

    A.S.A.P

the film was based on true events yes but they were bound to throw extra bits in tho

so was the book based on true events or is the book all true

and did he really lose his wife ?

  • The film was "loosely" based on true events. When something is "based" on truth, it only means that factual events INSPIRED the film. The only "true" events were that 100's of people in P.Pleasant saw Mothman in the days or wks prior to the Silver Bridge collapse. There were also a number of people who claimed to see Mothman actually on or near the bridge at the time of its collapse while Keel supposedly received hints of impending disaster. Just about everything else was Hollywood.

  • I read the book first and then saw the movie and the movies is nothing like the book and not nearly as good either.

  • @opini8edhighly yep it is based on mothman and the story of the people who saw it

  • I wish they made more movies like this one.

  • Who Sings?

  • Kelly Clarkson. The song is called "Hear Me," and it is on her "My December" album.

  • Nice BMW I wonder what ever happened to it....

  • I can tell you what happen to that car. It's mine now, lol. Good find Dan! I was wondering why there was a different name on the title other than the guys below. No since in paying the tax on something you own a week, lol

The car lost the smell, but I think it all moved to the bag that contains all the movie memorabilia.

    Let the good times roll...

  • lol i've seen this movie a long time ago and i want to see it again but i can't find it anywhere

  • @czechyczech you can watch it here

  • Last night I bought the Bimmer that was used in this scene - fully unaware that this was a movie car till the guy gave me the title. Completely random but it came with a few things from the movie: microphone used, random script, and title from the production company. Sidenote: the car smells of horsehair and Richard Gere.

  • Richard Gere was very friendly. He offered to get my husband a pair of boots to wear because it was so cold while filming.

  • This movie was fun to make but was a little creepy. I drove my car in a few scenes in the movie and was also a survivor which must have gotten cut. Anyway all kinds of things started happening to my car after filming was over. Even though I just had the engine replaced, I started to have trouble with it and the engine had to be replaced again. The mechanic called me and said that the strangest thing happened. When they put oil in the new engine, it all leaked out like the car was possessed.

  • Great Video!

  • Great movie, great vid. 5 stars.

  • I Love that movie! I have seen it so many times I can't even count. I love your music video! Its amazing!

  • The Paranormal State kids investigated the sight of the bridge collapse. Psychic Chip Coffey even said that something is there.

They never really met "The Mothman" but a lot of strange things go on right around there. They never did rebuild that bridge.

  • An incredible vid for an incredible story! :D

    I believe.

  • i like it

  • when i was a young, i would experience some really weird things like bieng trapped in a box and then suddenly let out after i stopped the panic, but it was real. I also can see right through people. Sometimes i would be going in one derection and all of the sudden i would be somewhere else in a fraction of a second and i know it is my mind power traveling in time that makes it real. i also have had many visions and believe those visions to be a sign.I am waiting on my seventh vision to be born.

  • Now I really got to see this movie! Awesome video 5 stars!!!!!

  • Rate: Thanks for rating!

  • Wow. This is really good!!!!

    Love the vid

I live in Kittanning, where the movie was shot. It was interesting to see a movie set in your hometown!

  • What I mean by "set in your hometown" is like the term "movie set" (like where they film a movie.) I know it was set in Point Pleasant.

  • santa is real real u bitch.

  • i don't understand...if you don't fine this interesting then why the hell would you watch it in the first place? AND comment?

  • Dude, who are you to say that something ain't real or not? I don't believe you were in Point Pleasant to disprove the accounts. Ya don't like it...GET OVER IT!!!!

  • The movie should have focused more on Mothman himself instead of trying to cover so much "unrelated" psychic phenomenona that they don't really explain like that Cold guy

  • The Cold Guy was the Mothman.... I think.

  • the thing with the red eyes.

  • omg u loosers stop talkin about fuckin time travel and comment on this vid!!

which btw is awsome i havnt seen the movie

but ive developped an interest in mothman and ive listened 2 this song like 100 times:D

im tryin 2 get a trip over 2 point pleasent soon:D

    im from london btw:D

  • the brits are coming the brits are coming..

  • Did you forget that you are traveling through time? The first time machine is already being developed, not for transportation of matter, but of information.

  • I believe in time travel. When I was young back in the 60's and an older man came up to me at the park that looked a lot like me. He gave me a dollar bill dated 2007. I realized in later life that it was me. I know that for a fact because I just gave it back to myself. Woops I need to take my medication now! Lets get real now!

Mothman was made up back in the 60's and 70's during the big UFO scare. The truth is out there ..hahahehe!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Perfect, spooky and intense and just perfect. But forgive me if I think Indrid Cold is just the wee-est bit sexy.

  • i've seen the film too it was amazing!

  • do u ever see the mothmsn in the film?

  • Fake as what story?

  • I believe mendez72 meant: "Fake ass story." Using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling just doesn't cut it these days. Or maybe that's because ignorance is the new informed.

  • Thanks. Damn the internet for allowing improper grammar!

  • this movie is based on true events....COOL!

  • the mothman gave me scary

  • who is the music by?

  • ..Kelly Clarkson..

  • or mothman can be a kind of fallen angel with a little bit of demon in him but mothman is cool anyhow if he is a angel.

  • a fallen angel is a demon

  • did they make a movie about the moth man?maybe i can get some type closer from it

  • The year was in the summer of 1960 I was six years old living in core west virgina

I will never forget that day! It had red eyes and the size of a grown man with arms and legs and what I remember it was all gray. sorry this is too horrifing can't finish this

  • Who the fuck do you think will believe this fake story?!

  • I wondered the very same about aliens, ufos and bigfoot, loch ness and what more.... People are often ignorant idiots and WANT to believe in these fantastical things...

  • The intelligent responce would be to keep an open mind as many a thing we take for granted now was considered ridiculous, even heretical, just a mere hundred years prior. For example, people claimed to see 'falling star' hit the earth. Up until the late 1800 scientists believed this to be insane and did not believe in meteorites impacting the earth.

  • We humans have such a long history of arrogant boasting that it is almost guarenteed that if we say something cannot be possible then is most often the case that it most definitely is possible. Examples of things people belived impossible but proven true: Flight, Breaking the Sound Barrier, Meteorites Striking the Earth, Computuers, Global Warming, Time Travel, Vaccines for certain Cancers, Natural Immunity to HIV, and the list goes on...

  • mteal4everman, i would have FAINTED if i saw tht! what did u do when u saw him?

  • nice movie nice song nice choice!

  • I just went to Point Pleasant yesterday. It was awesome. Got my picture with the Mothman statue.

  • I really like this film.. never heard or cared about some mothmen before but this movie was very interesting :)

Thank you for this music video, it's great and nice choise of song :)

  • The Mothman can't describe himself to us. We cannot begin to understand what he is. I mean, how would you describe yourself to a cockroach?

  • yeah nice one use a movie quote from the prof. whose name is an acronym of the actual author of the original book.

  • if you look closely the mothmans form resembles accurately an angels when in flight. red eyes are common as well in demonic photographs, and even in descriptions of anything involving evil beings. so theres no doubt in my mind that he is some sort of demonic angel who signifies death.

  • not the good kind may i add. take for example how everyone who sees him ends up dying. no one lives after looking death in the eyes. another thing, there are 2 pictures going around that i believe are authentic, taken by people who were present when the bridge collapsed.

  • ok heres the deal people i have done some research on the background of this "mothman" and to put it bluntly, i have also studied other things such as religion and so forth, and i am not what youd say religious but i believe in god i just dont claim to know what he looks like or if the whole bible thing is really real. ok. now, from the info i have gathered i have to say that i believe "mothman" is not some sort of "mothman" but rather he is some kind of angel.

  • this mothman thing is no joke, one night i left the window open and a moth flew in my room ,

anyway i got a paper(as you do) and i swotted that damn moth and as i killed it i said,i fucking hate moths, anyway that mothman appeared outside my window, it was about 1 at night and i shit myself and drew the curtains closed, this is true story , the mothman is real ladies and gents.

  • hahahahaahaha oh god.

  • What if Mothman isn't a person but some sort of vision you have that represents misfortune, but the odd thing is that people say he could physically touch things meaning he is a physical being, but what kind of being is the true question.

  • The Mothman Sightings began in the late 50's and kept going to present times. The odd thing about him though -or her- is that he is seen commonly at the TNT Depot. There is something very odd about Mothman, Whether he exists or not is a mystery humans might not need nor want to know. After all, Some things are meant to be kept secret.

  • There might have been a mothman

  • yay debra messing!!! happy birthday debra messing!!!

  • the music sucks balls!

  • nice job putting that video together, I'm a big fan of the Mothman. I try every year and attend the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant W.V.

  • The mothman Festival 6th Annual Mothman Festival "September 15-16, 2007 Point Pleasant, West Virginia" is just a few days after the Flatwoods Monster Festival.

Since I have relatives in north-central WVA, I might try to make it up to both at some point.

and Kelly Clarkson seems influenced by Amy Lee on that song

  • Mothman is my idol!

i wish i know him ore meet him ore whateveryou want!!!

  • i love mothman, but hate ... REALLLY HATE richard gere

  • this is just like bigfoot, we cant explain it

  • What's the fun in that?

  • if it attaks more than 3 times i think its about time the FBI wer called

  • Nice job! Big news! It was announced on 04/26/07 that Kelly is going to tour North America in the Summer of 2007!

  • This is a wonderfully put together music video. Great job! :D

  • i wounder where the mothman is

  • theres been reports that he might be in utah but im not sure if he's still there.

  • He is frequently spotted in Ohio and West Virginia.

  • Nicely done. It's a movie I stumbled upon by accident cause the title sounded so dud but I love it now and thus am picky about vids but this is truly well done.

  • Kelly Clarkson - Hear Me

  • 0 . o whats with the music. Anyway, good vid. Kudos.

  • i kinda like the idea of it because so many say it exists and its something we cant explain. lol

  • Mothman still strange 1/2 bat/man scaring antone that seems to be toward its' direction.
