  • I am here again! Wow, this made me so happy and appreciative of life again!

And this video has still no dislikes! Wow, who can though? This is just amazing. I am so in-love with music, and life, and ARpin, and ragtime and everything again! Feels so inspired.

  • i'm here again.. ah! thank you ragtime!

  • ah, here i am again.. thank you ragtime (or jazz) for making me feel good whenever i'm down! ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • gosh, i'll never get tired listening this. oh please, anyone who have a music sheet of this? please, will u share your blessing? hahaha. what are the songs/ pieces involved in this medley?

  • @RicAbapo 1st piece is Beale Street Blues. 2nd comes in at 1:43 and is called St. Louis Blues. The sheet music for St. Louis Blues is really hard to read as it came from a transcription program

  • @4:40 killin it!

  • oh my God!!! please, my heart is really crying out loud now..i can't help it..but pls, can someby give me a music sheet of this piece? i jsut have to play this!!! oh wow...

  • In my opinion, the greatest ragtime pianist. I had the great fortune of growing up with one of his CDs.

  • Excellent, a real master of the keyboard...we will miss him...but he lives on in his recordings...

  • OMG sheer genius...

  • Gave me goosebumps. Awe inspiring!

  • absolutely fabulous...and will keep me smiling for days....( and playing again and again). I can't thank you enough for posting this...

  • I hope that one day, I get to be as good as him.

  • Man I'm getting some Memphis and St Louis Blues Out of this.

  • WC Handy is smiling somewhere.

Does anybody know where the sheet music for this piece can be procured?

  • They should have played some of this at the Inauguration! This and some Scott Joplin, and combined them to make some Jelly Roll Morton. You know, some music actually sounds like it was "Made In America!"

  • You can find a midi version of this piece and use Music Notation Software (software that transcribes midi files into actual notes) to "procure" the sheet music.

  • JArpin was a wonderful and incredible piano player; his own St Louis Blues version was one of the best ever created...

  • I believe it IS the best.

  • That left me speechless. So gorgeous and heartfelt.

  • What a great loss to the ragtime community. He will be greatly missed.

  • 5 stars! FAVORITES! Such perfection.

    WE ALL MISS HIM!

    He was a wonderful man.

Thanks for posting this video on YouTube.
