@FeelingFreshSon Most of Nietzsche's so-called "followers" today tend to be doing so as a trend, in the same vein of the hipster trends. Ridiculous that they ignore the majority of his philosophy to do one of the things he most abhorred - conform to the herd.
Exactly! Ayn Rand has the same problem...well I dunno Ayn Rand kind of brought it upon herself. She says "think for yourself"...which is to say "think what I'm thinking". But as for Nietzsche it's very hard to truly understand where he was coming from. He had a lot of "problems", most of which he brought upon himself, i.e. the antichrist. I don't want to be a disciple of Nietzsche though. Too difficult for me at the moment.
Nietzsche was a mystic. Schopenhauer was influenced by Vyasa. He knew he was going to become still: "I will only believe in a God that knows how to Dance" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Thank God he did not reveal everything. And to those who knew, he simply reminded.
"God is dead. He remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves us murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe the blood off of us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What sacred games must we invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?" F. N.. . . . . . . . . . . Z
Think about the hardest you've ever thought...did it hurt? Nietzsche probably did that all the time. THAT'S what made him great. Not this nonsense of "iq of x"...the man pushed himself to be a better human being. Everyone can do that! But nooooooooo, you people are getting into arguments on youtube.
And what's more: I happen to have an IQ of over 165 and am a philosopher myself. You not only dare to call me an idot, but a f.....g idiot even?? You are such an unbelieveable rude, hostile, agressive and anti-social creature.. People like you are a pest of society, and useually end up as criminals... How dare you to call a perfect stranger, from which you do not know the first thing about, call a f.....g idiot?? Because he makes a slip of the finger with the "s" and "z" close to each other!!
What crap... Time to stop worship idols from the past???? There were more people in the past then at present, and there were many great persons, like Nietzsche, Stop thinking about them?? Time that more people learn about them and realise what some people from the past did, learn how to repsect the great souls of the past, they still achieved more than many of us today, Nietzsche died insane because he suffered too much ! Great people should never be forgotten!! What arrogance!!

It's a real shame that people spend so much of their lives debating and discussing religion, our institutions money, lust etc. Wake the fuck up. We are on this earth for what? 80 years if we are lucky? That amount of time is not even a blink in the history of the universe. Just live your lives. Love the ones who do good by you. Try and be a good person not because of some fake god who is watching you but because we are all human and are in this together.
@stomperfood why didn't i think of that? let's just FORGET human nature and our instincts, and live the moment:X. you have truly enlightened me :X. thanx
@stomperfood you are absolute right my friend.i agree with that also.the last sentence especially.we ve got to prove that we deserve the title of the greatness of this special kind on the earth.we are so special and i m sure that the everyday doing of human being confirm this word.''special''.
i know i should be thinking how brilliant his mind was, and how excellent 'beyond good and evil' was, but all i could think was '....that is some bitchin' facial hair!'
He predicted the decadence we see today lest Christianity continued its precedence over a new eugenic path toward the "superman". There is maybe still time for revolution.
Unfortunately, this movie is infamous in one respect: with its deft manipulation of Hans Olde's still photos from 1889, it created another internet legend about Nietzsche. It's not actual film footage of the incapacitated philosopher.
oh! I can only see! There the base of my Self... like a female thats lays in waiting wanting a fresh start without a fetus in the belly of.... Irony at its finest...
Nietzsche was an idiot (or shall I say "buffoon"? [Ecce Homo]), and typical of an average human, idiots rule. Hey dude, yer dead now! Waddaya think of it?
I love Nietzsche's prose. Out of all the philosopher's I've read, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Cioran are the best stylists imo. Thomas Carlyle was also a great stylist, once you adapt to the eccentric "Carlylese". Don't know if he's considered a philosopher, but he had made criticisms of the basis of Utilitarianism that would probably resonate with Nietzsche lovers too.
All those that say he was the man behind the Nazis have no idea of his philosophy, especially regarding the Superhuman. That concept is applied to a very short ranged of people that have the capabilities to lead "the herds".It does NOT refer to a wide range of people. Not to mention, he didn't see the germans in a very positive light.
@TatooineBoy His sister is also to blaim who was a supporter of the Nazis and attempted to form an Aryan colony with her husband. The Will to Power has been considered essentially a forgery by his sister to support her own ideals that Nietzsche despised.
besides,in greek(i m a greek man coming from greece) the word truth comes from a and forget, which means that the truth for everyone is inside himself and not in politcal and economical systems.
well, all these arguments i read are a pair of shits.no system can exist which makes all happy and generally satisfied.i believe that we must see inside ourselves so as to find the truth, which satisfy everyone himself.
@88Pakis Well, he certainly had some interesting thoughts on human emotions and the soul... Still, his anti-semetic sentiments were garbage, eventhough I can see how someone with his history and relatives can come to those conclusions. Well, at least he gave up those beliefs before he died... Never too late for redemption I suppose...
@DictatorRoB Fascism is the marriage of government and business. It's capitalism on steroids.Get your shit straight. If anything you actually put up on here is true and you actually believe it,then you're a communist.Regardless,I can see why you would hate a purely capitalist system. You'd probably hate a purely socialist system just as much."Pure" systems like that don't exist. All economic systems are mixed, so every system contains both socialism and capitalism. It's not just black and white.
@DictatorRoB "The state is the coldest of all cold monsters. Coldly it lies, too; and this lie creeps from its mouth: `I, the state, am the people.'... Everything about it is false; it bites with stolen teeth. " - Friedrich Nietzsche
@DictatorRoBAnd how do you justify this duty? Did you hear a voice in your head whisper to you, saying you should kill anyone with different beliefs?Or do you actually have some rationalle behind your sentiments? Are you schizofrenic or on a philosophical level beyond current human understanding?I think you're just spouting memorized quips with no thinking behind them in order to cover your very lack of rationalle. And if you actually believe you're right, you're suffering from Dunning-Kruger.
@DictatorRoB Does it now? Well, perhaps I'll see you at the zoo then. And you know what's hillarious about your comment? In your channel you claim you're a fascist and yet you speak out against capitalism... Seems to me like someone needs to brush up on their history and their political theory... Next time you approach a computer with a connection to the Internet, at least Google the titles you give your "beliefs" so that you don't make a fool of yourself in front of thousands of people, okay?
in relativity theory book einstein says something like''i hope u ll enjoy the book.''
and people take nietzsches books seriously.there s no equations, axioms.and he wanted his books to be taken seriously.(broken english but i guess u got it and my words are so important read carefully be serious :))
@DictatorRoB Communism or Capitalism are bad. They're both economic monopolies. The only difference is the former is government monopoly, the latter is private monopoly. Jews seem to be connected to both.
@EdMahoney19 Yes. And Nietzsche wasn't the lover of the Jews like the moderns suggest, he was anti-Christian because it was a Jewish derived religion, though certainly admired the Jews for their power of influence, but knew them as perverters of humanity.
Is this fact? I've heard both sides of the Nietzche religious conflict, apart from his sister, heir to the Nietzche collection, that published what she chose relevant.
@doublej706 It's an obvious sentiment throughout much of the "The Anti-Christ", it's improbable his sister could have done much to make him seem more antisemitic. I'm antisemitic myself, so most would consider what I have to say biased; the truth is there's probably no one more biased than the sheeple pro-Jew lemming today.
Nietzsche said that Christian man is "the ultimate Jewish consequence." How anyone could take such statements as pro-Jewish is beyond me.
But he also called them (the jewish priests) exceptionally crafty, meticulously deliberate, etc. He said "love your enemies, but also hate your friends" Well I think he did have love for the jewish race and the jewish priests, insofar as he saw them as a "higher type" of people (sure in a cancerous way, but nevertheless he did have some level of admiration for their cunning, and in a way they even "created their own values" and put themselves (and their god) high up above the rest of humanity)
@mikeisapro I agree and know exactly your references in his writings. He 'loved' Jews in the same way Patton highly respected the Germans for their incredible wartime valiance. Conversly, Nietzsche plainly hated Christians for their inherent weaknesses. It suffices to add that Hitler referred to Jews at times similarly as Nietzsche. If they were not strong willed, intelligent people they obviously would not be such an effective enemy.
Nietzsche did not love Jews. You obviously have been reading a bit too much of the commentaries of that kike Kaufmann.
Do yourself a favor if you only speak English, and get The Complete Works.
It won't be before you finish Volume V (that's 5 for you modern academia liberal aka Jewish indoctrinees of the state propaganda) before you realize he was no friend of the Jews attitudes toward life.
Rome vs. Judea..... That parasitic group of homeless wanderers..... etc.....
@Baseliner that's why I put quotations around 'loved'. I know he didn't, I was referencing the reason he, in a way, respected the Jews' "will to power". I'll definitely look into "The Completed Works". Thanks.
@Baseliner One his best friends Paul Ree was Jewish. In Beyond Good and Evil he says this "The Jews, however, are beyond all doubt the strongest, toughest, and purest race at present living in Europe." Sorry pal.
@mikeisapro I share with Nietzsche much of the same viewpoint concerning Jews, though personally think he looked upon them too emulatively, as if strong willed non-Jews ought copy their means to supremacy; war mongering and all. That's the sentiment I've picked up, anyway, I could be off; I've yet to read all of Nietzsche's writings.
@doublej706 His hatred for the Germans and Christianity conveniently translates to the commoner today as "he was definitely not antisemitic".
However, he hated the Germans mostly because they had subdued the Western pagan rise (Renaissance), and hated Christianity because it was a backward Jewish-originated religion! lol
All sentiments that had inspired a new Aryan rise, ironically, lead by the Germans! who in my personal theory were perhaps unconsciously atoning for disallowing it before.
Despite of being a believer myself, I see Nietszche as an extraordinary person and his philosophy has much to teach us.

Try and be a good person not because of some fake god who is watching you but because we are all human and are in this together.

Dias de Nietzsche em Turim [2001]
Unfortunately, this movie is infamous in one respect: with its deft manipulation of Hans Olde's still photos from 1889, it created another internet legend about Nietzsche. It's not actual film footage of the incapacitated philosopher.

Renno45 1 year ago
All those that say he was the man behind the Nazis have no idea of his philosophy, especially regarding the Superhuman. That concept is applied to a very short ranged of people that have the capabilities to lead "the herds".It does NOT refer to a wide range of people. Not to mention, he didn't see the germans in a very positive light.
TatooineBoy 1 year ago 7
@TatooineBoy His sister is also to blaim who was a supporter of the Nazis and attempted to form an Aryan colony with her husband. The Will to Power has been considered essentially a forgery by his sister to support her own ideals that Nietzsche despised.

tomcatvelociraraptor 1 year ago
@DictatorRoB Fascism is the marriage of government and business. It's capitalism on steroids.Get your shit straight. If anything you actually put up on here is true and you actually believe it,then you're a communist.Regardless,I can see why you would hate a purely capitalist system. You'd probably hate a purely socialist system just as much."Pure" systems like that don't exist. All economic systems are mixed, so every system contains both socialism and capitalism. It's not just black and white.

And if you actually believe you're right, you're suffering from Dunning-Kruger.
veso5554 1 year ago
@DictatorRoB Does it now? Well, perhaps I'll see you at the zoo then. And you know what's hillarious about your comment? In your channel you claim you're a fascist and yet you speak out against capitalism... Seems to me like someone needs to brush up on their history and their political theory... Next time you approach a computer with a connection to the Internet, at least Google the titles you give your "beliefs" so that you don't make a fool of yourself in front of thousands of people, okay?

@DictatorRoB Communism or Capitalism are bad. They're both economic monopolies. The only difference is the former is government monopoly, the latter is private monopoly. Jews seem to be connected to both.
EdMahoney19 1 year ago
@EdMahoney19 The so-called “third way” is nothing but a bloody detour which leads right back to capitalism.
Eddyking5 11 months ago
@EdMahoney19 Yes. And Nietzsche wasn't the lover of the Jews like the moderns suggest, he was anti-Christian because it was a Jewish derived religion, though certainly admired the Jews for their power of influence, but knew them as perverters of humanity.
jakestep17 11 months ago
Is this fact? I've heard both sides of the Nietzche religious conflict, apart from his sister, heir to the Nietzche collection, that published what she chose relevant.
doublej706 10 months ago
@doublej706 It's an obvious sentiment throughout much of the "The Anti-Christ", it's improbable his sister could have done much to make him seem more antisemitic. I'm antisemitic myself, so most would consider what I have to say biased; the truth is there's probably no one more biased than the sheeple pro-Jew lemming today.
Nietzsche said that Christian man is "the ultimate Jewish consequence." How anyone could take such statements as pro-Jewish is beyond me.
jakestep17 10 months ago
But he also called them (the jewish priests) exceptionally crafty, meticulously deliberate, etc. He said "love your enemies, but also hate your friends" Well I think he did have love for the jewish race and the jewish priests, insofar as he saw them as a "higher type" of people (sure in a cancerous way, but nevertheless he did have some level of admiration for their cunning, and in a way they even "created their own values" and put themselves (and their god) high up above the rest of humanity)
mikeisapro 10 months ago
@mikeisapro I agree and know exactly your references in his writings. He 'loved' Jews in the same way Patton highly respected the Germans for their incredible wartime valiance. Conversly, Nietzsche plainly hated Christians for their inherent weaknesses. It suffices to add that Hitler referred to Jews at times similarly as Nietzsche. If they were not strong willed, intelligent people they obviously would not be such an effective enemy.
jakestep17 10 months ago
@jakestep17
Rome vs. Judea..... That parasitic group of homeless wanderers..... etc.....
Baseliner 7 months ago
@Baseliner that's why I put quotations around 'loved'. I know he didn't, I was referencing the reason he, in a way, respected the Jews' "will to power". I'll definitely look into "The Completed Works". Thanks.
jakestep17 7 months ago
@Baseliner One his best friends Paul Ree was Jewish. In Beyond Good and Evil he says this "The Jews, however, are beyond all doubt the strongest, toughest, and purest race at present living in Europe." Sorry pal.
jonahfox 7 months ago
@mikeisapro I share with Nietzsche much of the same viewpoint concerning Jews, though personally think he looked upon them too emulatively, as if strong willed non-Jews ought copy their means to supremacy; war mongering and all. That's the sentiment I've picked up, anyway, I could be off; I've yet to read all of Nietzsche's writings.
jakestep17 10 months ago
@doublej706 His hatred for the Germans and Christianity conveniently translates to the commoner today as "he was definitely not antisemitic".
However, he hated the Germans mostly because they had subdued the Western pagan rise (Renaissance), and hated Christianity because it was a backward Jewish-originated religion! lol
All sentiments that had inspired a new Aryan rise, ironically, lead by the Germans! who in my personal theory were perhaps unconsciously atoning for disallowing it before.
