  • we go in for oil, but the prices only go up. now that sucks.

  • Hard to think that they thought there was a need to say ` guess what? it was about oil...' REALLY !!! wOW, DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING.. seriously, I live in Australia and when the war started everyone here including comics and tv hosts were commenting on how it was all oil based.. who do the US government think they were fooling? (besides the US public and military, that is..) hey, not paying out on Americans, by the way - you got rid of Bush and pretty obviously could see what an idiot he was...

  • I dunno if it was all about oil, but what I can say is that American now has no moral authority to lecture to any African leader(s) about torture. Then again, America did not torture anyone, they just used "enhanced techniques".

  • Not surprisingly, before the no-bid agreement (a form advantageous to the US) the crats criticized W mercilessly, "Where's the Iraqi oil we're supposed to get?" After the agreement document was presented to Iraq, Schumer went to Baghdad and forbade any oil sale before congress established a carbon footprint for Iraq. The Iraquis threw away the document and sold their oil elsewhere.

Lafferty is a world class truth-manipulator on a mission. He doesn't know what the mission is, but he's on it.

  • everything we've done since WWII has been about oil.

We dropped anthrax on China in 1954

We Had Isrial bomb an American war ship in the gulf on Tonken. (we were going to blame Egypt) so we could wage war and get the oil. A Russian ship save Americans.

We Funded Osama Bin Ladin during the Iran Iraq war. We gave Chemical weapons to Hussen to kill Kurdish children

We killed 8 million people since the end of WWII

Why? Oil. Americans are noble, Our Government is not. It is time we rein them in.

  • @rhenry501 The Gulf of Tonkin incident and the USS Liberty incident were two different events dude. One was located off the coast of Vietnam and the other was in the Mediterranean Sea. Man, you're a dumbass. Get your facts straight.

  • GW Bush was and an oil man, Cheney worked in oilfield service co, Condi Rice at Chevron. For them 4100 dead is a small price to pay for the oil, how much do the dead soldiers families get? $500,000!! thats just over $2 billion, what the military spends a week in Iraq and what PROFIT exxon made in 3 weeks in 2007.

  • You nailed it. I'm a grunt, I have half an ass, no leg, body full of metal and a head full of death because of these bastards. I hope they enjoy the oil, half of it is blood and brains from my buddies the other half is full of dead children, old men, and young men dying because they are fighting hard for thier country. Just like we would if some one would come over to our country. To suck all the fat out of 57% of my fellow country men thats all we seem to offer this world any longer oh & death

  • there's innocent blood on bushs' hands.

  • america and bush should be put to sleep permanently

  • Operation Iraqi Liberation = O.I.L So true.

  • BTW worsen relations USA-Russia is about "USA top-managers insist on selling bullshit, and "evil" Russia top-managers refuse to buy it". Thats the core of what is going on betwin Russia and USA govts.

  • Well, in USSR people learned the art of "reading betwin rows". Now you try ;)

And - am i right - it was told in the very beginning that the war is "about values" somehow... Assuming u r not an imbecile to buy "free/charity freedom" - u mast admit - the war is really about values ;) It wasnt lie.

And - frankly - it is not a war. Even dirty war has more honor in it. Its... something else.

And... something tells me - "resource"-related events will intensify soon.

  • Nothing can change by noting that the war was for oil because the dems don't have the political will to initiate hearings in congress and the justice dept has about as much integrity as a used car lot right now. The only value in it is perhaps shaming conservatives who themselves knew we were sending soliders to die for oil, but those folks have no shame. Its just about $ and winning elections and they will harvest as many militay and civilian lives as are necessary to do just that. Just a fact.

  • If only internet outrage accomplished something... (sigh), by now the wretched pond scum elite banker gangsters responsible would be publicly flogged by now..

That said, I'm as guilty as anyone for not doing more, but "they" own everything, control everyone important and retain power despite driving the country with the tender loving care of a rental in a crash derby.

  • PETRO-DOLLARS at work bitches!!!

  • I wish I can send this too all the fucking assholes who always argued that it was not for OIL.

  • thank you videocafeblog

  • yep

  • scott mcclellan would have us all believe bush invaded iraq because of an idealistic vision to spread democracy in the middle east. aw, always the white house spokesmen. really the invasion was intended to disrupt the production in the region, and drive oil prices up. for those who don't know it, bush/cheney are in the oil business, and they love it when oil prices go up. bush will saber rattle at iran to get oil market speculators to buy, and drive the prices even higher. we are getting worked.

  • What? Run out of Indian land to steal, we're into MidEast oil?

It's common human error to ascribe SENSE to ex drunk GWB's alcoholically poisoned brain, prematurely SENILE, he can't even READ a speech!or-tell the difference between 16 SAUDI's 9/11 & Iraq!

So, a Mideast war BLASTS oil prices just as China/India become oil sponges. Cheney's govt contractor cronies rejoice! This is NEWS?

Why look at alternate fuel: wind, solar, water? Just STEAL the oil!

    I've had enough? I'm BUSHED.

  • I can't believe that they are only just realizing this out, everyone else knew that was the reason while they were ramping up the rhetoric. That and the fact that Iraq had stopped trading oil in US dollars.

  • Well, it is a huge progress imo. If a guy only mentioned that this war could be oil related five years ago, please remember the flak he would have collected. This mob mind set is still on but somebody can now allude to it without being flagged as unamerican or a traitor or stuff like that.

Of course, five years ago, this kind of speech could have changed the course of the war, now that stuff is firmly settled, people can speak as much as they want, it wont change anything.

  • Bush, Lie? No!

  • It was all about oil,and de-stabelizing the Middle East thus making the price sky-rocket so the greedy oil companies could have Carte Blanche to drill anywhere and everywhere.
